Phillies | Domonic Brown homers again

Fri, 31 Jul 2015 19:43:20 -0700

Philadelphia Phillies OF Domonic Brown went 2-for-5 with a home run against the Atlanta Braves Friday, July 31. It was his second homer in as many games, after not having hit one since Sept. 16, 2014.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) finishes the month of July batting .293 with two home runs and nine RBIs in 75 at-bats. If you're in desperate need of salary cap relief in FantasyScore, Brown may be worth considering.

Phillies | No Cody Asche vs. Jay Birds

Wed, 29 Jul 2015 14:28:37 -0700

Philadelphia Phillies OF Cody Asche is not in the starting lineup Wednesday, July 29. OF Domonic Brown is playing right field and batting sixth, and OF Jeff Francoeur is playing left field and batting fifth against Toronto Blue Jays SP R.A. Dickey Wednesday.

Fantasy Tip: Make sure to avoid Asche ($2,500,5.0% of cap) in all fantasy formats Wednesday. Brown ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) and Francoeur ($2,800, 5.6% of cap) draw knuckleballer Dickey ($5,000, 10.0% of cap), which is a hit-or-miss matchup, so they should be viewed as high-risk, high-reward fliers for FantasyScore contests Wednesday.

Phillies | Domonic Brown sitting out

Tue, 28 Jul 2015 13:50:45 -0700

Philadelphia Phillies OF Domonic Brown is not in the starting lineup against Toronto Blue Jays SP Felix Doubront Tuesday, July 28. OF Jeff Francoeur will start in right field and is batting fourth in the lineup.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) likely is sitting out because the team is facing a left-handed pitcher. Francoeur ($2,800, 5.6% of cap) is hitting .278 with four home runs and 10 RBI this month and could be a cheaper option for owners on FantasyScore to consider.

Tue, 21 Jul 2015 11:23:51 -0700

Philadelphia Phillies OF Domonic Brown will start in right field and bat sixth against the Tampa Bay Rays Tuesday, July 21.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) has just nine hits in his last 43 at bats, and hasn't homered since he started playing in mid-June. He may be a cheap investment on FantasyScore, but he's not worth starting until he can prove he can produce consistently.

Sun, 05 Jul 2015 07:21:34 -0700

Phillies | Domonic Brown sitting out

Wed, 01 Jul 2015 11:28:34 -0700

Philadelphia Phillies OF Domonic Brown is not in the starting lineup Wednesday, July 1. OF Odubel Herrera is starting in center field and hitting seventh against Milwaukee Brewers SP Kyle Lohse.

Fantasy Tip: Herrera ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) has been a FantasyScore afterthought for a while now and has lost a starting spot in the outfield. He could be a sleeper play worth considering, though. Lohse has been much better away from Miller Park this year, but he still has a 4.37 ERA on the road and has allowed at least three earned runs in four of his last five starts.

Philadelphia Phillies OF Domonic Brown is not in the starting lineup against Washington Nationals SP Gio Gonzalez Saturday, June 27. OF Jeff Francoeur will start in right field and is batting fourth in the lineup.

Philadelphia Phillies OF Domonic Brown is not in the starting lineup against Baltimore Orioles SP Wei-Yin Chen Monday, June 15. OF Jeff Francoeur will start in right field and is batting fifth in the lineup.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) likely is sitting out because the team is facing a left-handed pitcher. Francoeur ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) is hitting .353 this month and has recorded eight RBI during that span. Owners could consider him as a cheaper starting option during his hot streak.

Philadelphia Phillies OF Domonic Brown will start at right field and is batting sixth in the starting lineup against Pittsburgh Pirates SP A.J. Burnett Sunday, June 14.
