Reds | Todd Frazier happy in Cincinnati

Fri, 26 Jun 2015 17:22:37 -0700

Cincinnati Reds 3B Todd Frazier, whose name has been mentioned in trade rumors regarding the New York Mets, said that he would like to remain with the only organization he's ever played for. "I haven't really thought about it," Frazier said. "It's all rumors and speculation - I haven't really heard anything. Right now I'm a Red, I'm glad to be a Red, and that's where I want to be."

Fantasy Tip: Frazier ($5,900, 11.8% of cap) has had an outstanding season, batting .292 with 24 home runs and 59 RBIs through 71 games entering play Friday, June 26. He is tied for second in the majors in homers and is on pace to finish the season with 55. With good reason, he continues to be a popular and safe pick at the hot corner in FantasyScore.

Reds | Todd Frazier homers again

Sun, 21 Jun 2015 17:15:47 -0700

Cincinnati Reds 3B Todd Frazier went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 5-2 win over the Miami Marlins Sunday, June 21, and he has five home runs in his last five games.

Fantasy Tip: Frazier ($5,900, 11.8% of cap) has nine RBI over the same stretch, and he is up to 23 homers on the year. He has hit 15 of his home runs at home, but Frazier is swinging the bat so well right now that he is worth considering in any matchup.

Reds | Todd Frazier not in lineup Thursday

Thu, 18 Jun 2015 12:18:44 -0700

Cincinnati Reds 3B Todd Frazier is not in the starting lineup Thursday, June 18. 2B Ivan De Jesus is in the lineup for the game against the Detroit Tigers.

Fantasy Tip: Frazier ($5,900, 11.8% of cap) is getting a night off following a beast performance against the Tigers, with a solo homer and a game-winning grand slam. De Jesus ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) carries little fantasy value.

Reds | Todd Frazier extends hitting streak

Wed, 10 Jun 2015 14:49:09 -0700

Cincinnati Reds 3B Todd Frazier extended his hitting streak to five games Wednesday, June 10, and he's 12-for-22 in that span with four doubles and a home run. Frazier was 2-for-4 with two runs and a strikeout to raise his season average to .293 Wednesday.

Fantasy Tip: Frazier ($5,900, 11.8% of cap) has 17 home runs on the season and 37 RBI and has proven that his breakout in 2014 was no joke. He continues to be a popular and pretty safe pick on FantasyScore.

Reds | Todd Frazier hits No. 17

Tue, 09 Jun 2015 19:33:41 -0700

Cincinnati Reds 3B Todd Frazier hit his 17th home run of the season along with two singles, two runs and a RBI during the Reds' 11-2 win over the Philadelphia Phillies Tuesday, June 9.

Fantasy Tip: Frazier ($5,900, 11.8% of cap) is a top-tier third base option in all fantasy formats and helps across all five standard categories. The only drawback for FantasyScore players is that he is priced as such, so there can be a little extra risk when the Reds face an imposing pitcher. Picking your spots correctly will help Frazier to continue to aid you daily lineups, though. For the season, he is now up to an impressive .962 OPS.

Reds | Todd Frazier caps great week

Mon, 01 Jun 2015 10:27:17 -0700

Cincinnati Reds 3B Todd Frazier hit .500 with four doubles, four home runs, a .560 on-base percentage and a 1.227 slugging percentage.

Fantasy Tip: Frazier ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) is showing that his breakout 2014 was no fluke, and he already has 16 home runs and 31 RBI after hitting 29 long balls last year. Frazier will continue to be a popular and strong selection on FantasyScore.

Reds | Todd Frazier thriving at home

Fri, 29 May 2015 19:58:15 -0700

Cincinnati Reds 3B Todd Frazier hit his 15th home run of the year Friday, May 29, in a 5-2 win over the Washington Nationals, and 10 of his 15 home runs this year have come at home.

Fantasy Tip: Dating back to last year, 30 of his 44 homers have come at home, and considering he plays home games in one of more hitter-friendly parks, it should come as no surprise that Frazier ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) is a more valuable FantasyScore commodity when playing at Great American Ball Park.

Reds | Todd Frazier on homer binge

Wed, 06 May 2015 12:07:09 -0700

Cincinnati Reds 3B Todd Frazier went deep Tuesday, May 5, and he has hit seven home runs in his last 12 games against the Pittsburgh Pirates. His 15 career homers against the Bucs are his most against any team.

Fantasy Tip: It's hard not to want to choose Frazier ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) for your FantasyScore rosters while he's hitting homers frequently. However, he hasn't done much else when he's not leaving the yard, and Pirates starter Gerrit Cole, his Wednesday matchup, isn't allowing many hits at all this year. It might be the day to avoid Frazier.

Tue, 05 May 2015 21:50:19 -0700

Cincinnati Reds 3B Todd Frazier went 2-for-5 with a solo home run Tuesday, May 5, against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The homer was his National League-leading ninth of the season.

Fantasy Tip: Frazier ($5,500; 11.0% of cap) is a fantastic power source for FantasyScore players compared to others at the hot corner.

Reds | Cincy switches up lineup Monday

Mon, 27 Apr 2015 16:03:15 -0700

Cincinnati Reds SS Zack Cozart, who is hitting .303 on the season, was moved up to the second spot in the batting order Monday, April 27, with 2B Brandon Phillips dropping to sixth. 1B Joey Votto is now hitting third, and 3B Todd Frazier is in the cleanup spot.

Fantasy Tip: The most notable move is for Cozart ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) jumping up to the top of the lineup. While facing a tough matchup in the improving Jimmy Nelson of the Milwaukee Brewers Monday night, the two-hole boosts Cozart's FantasyScore value at shortstop.
