New York Mets C Travis d'Arnaud is hitting .300 with three home runs in 13 games since returning from Triple-A Las Vegas, and he credits a more relaxed approach at the plate for his success. "I'm more relaxed, not as tense," he said. "My hands are more loose."
Fantasy Tip: His ability to hit for power makes him an immediate grab in NL-only leagues, and if you are looking for help at catcher in mixed leagues, he is worth a flier.

New York Mets C Travis d'Arnaud is expected to rejoin the big-league team Tuesday, June 24, against the Oakland Athletics. He left Triple-A Las Vegas' game Monday, June 23.
Fantasy Tip: d'Arnaud got it going again in the minors, but there's a caveat because it's the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League. He has dominated via his extensive history in Las Vegas' bat-enhancing Cashman Field from his time with the Toronto Blue Jays. Still, the possibility of a legitimate breakthrough should intrigue those in two-catcher mixed formats.

The New York Mets are planning to promote C Travis d'Arnaud back to the majors during their series with the Oakland Athletics June 24-25, according to an organizational source. d'Arnaud entered the day Wednesday, June 18, hitting .395 with five home runs and 10 RBIs in 38 at-bats since June 7 with Triple-A Las Vegas. He was hitting just .180 with three home runs and nine RBIs in 128 at-bats before his demotion.
Fantasy Tip: If d'Arnaud was cut loose in your two-catcher or NL-only league, now is the time to look to add him, if you need help at catcher. His success on the farm is nice to see, but it doesn't mean he'll immediately start mashing at the major league level.

New York Mets C Travis d'Arnaud isn't coming back to the major leagues anytime soon, even though he's hitting .414 with five home runs and 10 RBIs in seven games and 29 at-bats with Triple-A Las Vegas, according to team officials. If he spends less than 20 days in the minors, the option the Mets used on him is rescinded, and they can use it in a future year if they need to. If the Mets would like to keep that option, d'Arnaud would return no later than June 27.

The New York Mets have optioned C Travis d'Arnaud to Triple-A Las Vegas. In a corresponding move, C Taylor Teagarden has been recalled from Las Vegas.
Fantasy Tip: d'Arnaud, the team's Opening Day backstop, was hitting .180 with three homers and nine RBIs and was 3-for-26 since returning from a concussion. Teagarden is expected to split time behind the plate with Anthony Recker. Neither catcher is a viable fantasy option as long as they remain in a timeshare.
