Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning threw his third touchdown of the first half of Week 7 against the San Francisco 49ers to WR Demaryius Thomas in the second quarter. It was the 509th touchdown pass of Manning's career, as he moved into the top spot in NFL history for career touchdown passes.
Sun, 12 Oct 2014 11:40:25 -0700
Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas caught five passes for 83 yards and one touchdown in the first half of the team's Week 6 game.
Fantasy Tip: Thomas continues to be one of the top wide receivers in fantasy. He should be in the starting lineup every week for owners.
Thu, 09 Oct 2014 19:07:15 -0700
Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas said that he let his first drop of the season affect his confidence until he was able to clear his head during the bye week.
Fantasy Tip: After his monster performance in Week 5, Thomas' claim that he worked through his slump during the bye week certainly seems valid. His $7,900 salary (15.8% of cap) at FantasyScore is the third-highest at the position in Week 6, but he could be worth the price with the Broncos facing the makeshift secondary of the New York Jets that was just torched by Philip Rivers and the San Diego passing attack.
Sun, 05 Oct 2014 20:20:09 -0700
Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas had a career-best 226 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the team's Week 5 win over the Denver Broncos.
Thu, 25 Sep 2014 10:20:18 -0700
Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas has one touchdown catch this year and four dropped passes. Thomas had five dropped passes all of last season. "I just haven't been consistent, and it bothers me," Thomas said. "I think about it, I keep practicing hard, doing the things I need to do. I want to make it right." Thomas has been bothered by a left foot injury at times, but he hasn't missed any practice time and has played 93 percent of the offensive snaps through three games.
Fantasy Tip: Thomas has disappointed his owners so far, no doubt about that. But it's still early, and the Broncos' bye week probably couldn't come at a better time for Thomas. Expect better production coming off the bye and for the rest of the season.
Mon, 22 Sep 2014 10:02:20 -0700
Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas finished with four catches for just 31 yards in the team's Week 3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, but QB Peyton Manning targeted him nine times in the game. Thomas dropped a pass and had a big gain taken back by a penalty. He has caught nine passes for 110 yards and a touchdown through three games this year, and he has been very inconsistent so far. "I really can't tell. It was a fast game," said Thomas when asked if the Seahawks' coverage led to his decreased numbers. "I had an opportunity to make plays and didn't. I feel like I had my chances. I have to make my plays. Two plays that I had my hands on the ball, they broke up. But I feel like I have to come down with those." He continues to say that contract talks haven't been a distraction. Thomas also dealt with foot and ankle issues in Week 3, but he refused to use it as an excuse.
Fantasy Tip: It's been a slow start for Thomas, but you'll have to remain patient in standard leagues. He has a Week 4 bye and then has a tough matchup against the outstanding corners of the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5.
Sun, 21 Sep 2014 14:13:36 -0700
Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (foot) left the Week 3 game in the second quarter against the Seattle Seahawks due to a foot injury. He has reportedly been dealing with the injury for a while. He limped off, was evaluated by the training staff, and was able to return.
Fantasy Tip: Thomas' injury is one to watch. If he cannot make it through the rest of the game, Emmanuel Sanders and Julius Thomas might pick up a few extra targets.
Wed, 17 Sep 2014 13:31:24 -0700
Denver Broncos WR Wes Welker will return to the slot receiver position in Week 3 against the Seattle Seahawks, moving WR Emmanuel Sanders back outside opposite WR Demaryius Thomas. WR Andre Caldwell will return to the No. 4 receiver role.
Fantasy Tip: Unfortunately, Welker won't be available at FantasyScore this week, but he should be returned immediately to all standard lineups against the Seahawks.
Sat, 13 Sep 2014 19:16:06 -0700
Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas dropped three passes in the team's Week 1 game, but he says the rough outing is behind him, and he expects to fix the problem. "My main thing was trying to get the ball up the field too fast," Thomas said. "So, this week has been mainly watch the ball in before I make the move."
Fantasy Tip: Thomas had just four catches for 48 yards in Week 1, but he left a lot of yardage on the table because of the drops. Meanwhile, he was targeted a team-high 11 times so the poor performance was likely a one-game occurrence. Thomas is the highest-priced receiver in FantasyScore at $8,000 (16% of cap) in Week 2, but he could live up to his price tag against a Kansas City defense that he torched for 227 yards in two meetings last year.
Sun, 07 Sep 2014 15:51:52 -0700
Denver Broncos WR Andre Caldwell is listed as a starter for Week 1 against the Indianapolis Colts Sunday, Sept. 7, in place of the suspended WR Wes Welker. The team is expected to use a combination of WRs Emmanuel Sanders, Demaryius Thomas and even their running backs in the slot for Week 1. The team might also use two tight ends while using flex TE Jacob Tamme in the slot.
Fantasy Tip: FantasyScore owners who rolled the dice on the low-priced Caldwell could be in for a surprising stat line with Caldwell. Stay tuned.
Tue, 12 Aug 2014 19:23:02 -0700
Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (quadriceps) was back at practice Tuesday, Aug. 12, and he lined up with WR Demaryius Thomas in packages that featured two wide receivers and two tight ends.
Fantasy Tip: Sanders may be the third receiver on his own team, but because of Denver's prolific passing attack, he is still a solid WR3.
Wed, 30 Jul 2014 10:33:39 -0700
Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas is not allowed to practice in pads at this point and will need to take part in two more practices before getting back into pads. Thomas missed some time last week because of a personal issue.
Mon, 28 Jul 2014 16:34:57 -0700

Wed, 16 Jul 2014 20:31:26 -0700
Denver Broncos WRs Demaryius Thomas, Wes Welker and Emmanuel Sanders will be the top three wide receivers, with WRs Andre Caldwell and Cody Latimer also in the plans. Undrafted WR Isaiah Burse has potential but will have to show some significant pop in the preseason games to earn a potential job as return man and possible sixth receiver.

The Denver Broncos have offered WR Demaryius Thomas a five-year contract extension, according to an NFL source. General manager John Elway is hoping to have Thomas locked up long term before training camp next month. Thomas will make $3.27 million this year.
Fantasy Tip: Thomas definitely deserves an increase in pay as one of the league's top wide receiver talents. The sky remains the limit in 2014 for Thomas in Denver's offense.
Mon, 09 Jun 2014 20:32:53 -0700

Fantasy Tip: As such, King has very little short-term fantasy appeal. However, he could emerge as a legitimate fantasy weapon as the season progresses, especially if injuries fell the others.

Mon, 17 Jun 2013 10:14:43 -0700
The Denver Post's Mike Klis estimates that the Denver Broncos' passing offense would reach its peak if Demaryius Thomas gets 85 receptions and Eric Decker and Wes Welker each net around 75. Klis contends that the strength of this passing attack must continue to stem from outside receivers.
Fantasy Tip: This is merely one writer's rough guess of how things should work, but it definitely reminds us of Welker's shaky fantasy value. Manning will challenge downfield much more often than Tom Brady did, and Thomas and Decker are hardly any slouches. Welker's biggest impact this year will be how he opens things up for the rest of the offense, not the padding of his own stat sheet. He may be sorely overvalued in PPR setups this year.
