Broncos | Demaryius Thomas has 100-yard week

Sun, 25 Sep 2016 14:43:31 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas caught six passes for 100 yards and scored a touchdown in a 29-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Sept. 25.

Fantasy Tip: Combined with Emmanuel Sanders, the Broncos receiving corps had a spectacular day. Thomas should be kept active in most fantasy lineups, as he and Sanders appear to have a rapport with QB Trevor Siemian.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas not on injury report

Fri, 23 Sep 2016 16:44:20 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hip) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 23, and is not on the injury report for Week 3.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas is coming off a solid performance where he recorded 90 yards despite dealing with his injury. Owners should have Thomas in their starting lineup even though he is facing a tough Cincinnati Bengals defense.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas practices in full

Thu, 22 Sep 2016 18:23:30 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hip) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Sept. 22.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas remains a big part of Denver's passing attack, but the emphasis on the run game this year and a tough matchup against Cincinnati makes him more of a WR3 in Week 3.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas fully practices

Wed, 21 Sep 2016 16:14:06 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hip) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 21.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas is coming off a solid Week 2 performance and should continue to be a main part of the passing game. He will be facing a tough Cincinnati Bengals secondary but can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

Broncos | Denver receivers face tough test

Mon, 19 Sep 2016 13:07:33 -0700

Denver Broncos WRs Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders face a stingy Cincinnati Bengals pass defense in Week 3. The Bengals have allowed a combined nine catches for 108 yards to New York Jets WRs Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker and Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown through the first two weeks of the season.

Fantasy Tip: Trevor Siemian has been somewhat mistake prone so far in this young season, too, which doesn't help the causes of Thomas or Sanders either. It's hard to bench either Thomas or Sanders in any given week, but lower the expectations for the standout Broncos receivers this week.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas will play

Sun, 18 Sep 2016 12:35:03 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hip) is officially active for the team's Week 2 game.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas has been limited by a hip injury this week but will be able to play. He will be a risky option for owners because of the injury but could still be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in leagues.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas likely to play Sunday

Sun, 18 Sep 2016 07:39:13 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hip) is expected to play in Week 2's game against the Indianapolis Colts. However, the club wants him to participate in pregame warmups before a final decision is made.

Fantasy Tip: If he is active for the game, Thomas has a very favorable matchup versus the Colts and should be viewed as a solid WR2 or WR3 in the majority of fantasy formats.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas may be game-time decision

Sat, 17 Sep 2016 13:37:10 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hip) may be a game-time decision for the team's Week 2 game, according to head coach Gary Kubiak.

Fantasy Tip: Owners will need to check the inactive list to see if Thomas will be able to play in Week 2. He will be a solid No. 2 or No. 3 receiver if he is active, but owners should have other options ready in case he is ruled out.

Fri, 16 Sep 2016 13:34:38 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hip) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 16, and is listed as questionable for Week 2.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas likely will be able to play, but owners should check the inactive list to make sure he is active. Thomas will have a favorable matchup this week and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver for most fantasy owners.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas 'on track' for Week 2

Fri, 16 Sep 2016 10:47:57 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hip) appeared to look much better running routes Friday, Sept. 16, than he has at any point earlier in the week, according to Denver7 Sports' Troy Renck.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas has been very limited in practice recently and expressed doubt regarding his confidence in his hip Thursday, so this is a positive development. Still, this is a tricky situation for owners, who must weigh starting him in perhaps his best matchup of the year - the Indianapolis Colts - against the possibility he could be very limited or serve as a decoy. Owners who are deep at receiver should probably consider benching him, while all others should be thrilled if they receiver something more than WR3 production.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas expects to play in pain

Fri, 16 Sep 2016 07:00:16 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hip) expects to play in pain in Week 2 with a hip injury that he said he has dealt with for a while.

Fantasy Tip: This may be an issue for a while, and the team doesn't have its bye week until Week 11. The matchup against the Indianapolis Colts isn't a decent one, but if you're playing DFS, it might be too much of a risk. Thomas remains a WR2 in traditional leagues.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas limited again

Thu, 15 Sep 2016 16:12:51 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hip) was limited in practice again Thursday, September 15. He participated in "roughly" a third of the snaps, but they were more significant ones than previous practice sessions in which he was limited.

Fantasy Tip: It's looking more likely than not that Thomas will be able to suit up in Denver's Week 2 contest, though it's certainly not a guarantee just yet. He had a relatively quiet season opener, hauling in four catches for 48 yards, and owners might have to accept those types of performances in the early going as he continues to develop chemistry with new starting quarterback Trevor Siemian.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas limited

Wed, 14 Sep 2016 16:25:30 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hip) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas should have a solid chance to play this week, but owners should monitor his practice participation. Thomas played well in Week 1 and should be a No. 2 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas to practice Wednesday

Mon, 12 Sep 2016 11:19:39 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hip) is "feeling better" and expected to return to practice Wednesday, Sept. 14, according to head coach Gary Kubiak.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas took part in "on-field work" on Monday and should be expected to play in Week 2 versus the Indianapolis Colts' depleted secondary barring a setback. While it doesn't figure to be as much of a factor this week given the Colts' defensive shortcomings, the bigger concern for Thomas and his owners figures to be a much more balanced offense that will be happy to make C.J. Anderson its centerpiece. Thomas should be considered a WR2.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas has hip injury

Sun, 11 Sep 2016 07:21:47 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hip) underwent an MRI exam Friday, Sept. 9, after suffering a hip injury during Week 1's game against the Carolina Panthers Thursday, Sept. 8. He will receive a second opinion on his results, according to multiple sources.

Fantasy Tip: The severity of Thomas' injury is currently unknown and it is uncertain how much time he will miss, so check back frequently for updates on his status. In case of an extended absence, WR Emmanuel Sanders would serve as Denver's No. 1 receiver, with Bennie Fowler and Cody Latimer likely to see an increase in fantasy value as well.

Broncos | Quiet night for Demaryius Thomas

Thu, 08 Sep 2016 21:34:44 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas had four catches for 48 yards on six targets in a 21-20 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 1.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas' fantasy owners may have to accept similar stat lines for the foreseeable future and deploy him as a WR3. Denver is going to be happy to lean on the run as much as possible while Trevor Siemian grows more comfortable under center.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas playing lighter

Tue, 02 Aug 2016 20:23:23 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas altered his diet during the offseason, shedding six pounds to improve his quickness and durability. His goal is to get down to 222 pounds, down from about 232 last season. "I wanted to come back a little lighter so I can get through the season," Thomas said. "Hopefully it'll help with the injuries and everything, be quick on my feet, be in better shape. I think that'll help my game."

Fantasy Tip: Thomas has an average draft position in the high 30's, making him a third-round pick in most leagues of 12 or more teams. He is a solid WR2 or top-notch flex play heading into 2016, but his value is down from previous years due to a downgrade at the quarterback position and the fact he has to share the ball more with Emmanuel Sanders.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas focused, healthy

Thu, 14 Jul 2016 21:16:03 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas said he is "feeling great" heading into training camp and will "for sure" have a better year after dealing with drops last season.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas still managed 101 catches for 1,304 yards in what was considered by some to be a down year. The quarterback situation in Denver could hurt his stock slightly, but Thomas has been one of the most reliable fantasy receivers and could creep into WR1 territory in 2016.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas fell behind last year

Mon, 20 Jun 2016 13:20:28 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas said he was thinking too much last season. Thomas missed a good portion of the 2015 offseason program while waiting for a long-term deal and his mother was set to be released from prison. Thomas said it was tough trying to catch up with the new offense after missing so much time and with his off-field life.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas won't be behind this year, but he will be playing with a new quarterback. He's a low-end WR1 to high-end WR2 consideration in fantasy drafts this offseason.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas not worried about QB

Thu, 02 Jun 2016 10:28:45 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas is not worried about the team's uncertainty at the quarterback position this offseason. "Oh we're not worried," Thomas said. "We still got time. These guys are going to be fine. Mark Sanchez has won playoff games. I can't say much about (the experience of) Paxton Lynch and Trevor Siemian, but they've been great so far. So we'll be fine. We got playmakers around them and coaches will put them in the right situation, and of course we've still got our great defense."

Fantasy Tip: The Broncos have plenty of weapons in the passing game and on the ground, but whoever wins this competition -- it'll most likely be Sanchez -- can't be safely considered anything more than a midrange fantasy backup. Lynch's value lies in keeper/dynasty formats for now.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas caps rough postseason

Sun, 07 Feb 2016 19:53:43 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas caught one pass for eight yards in a 24-10 win over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 Sunday, Feb. 7.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas finished with seven catches for 60 yards in Denver's three playoff games, but he did haul in 105 passes for more than 1,300 yards during the regular season. At worst, he should be a high-end WR2 in 2016.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas checked by doctors

Sun, 07 Feb 2016 16:55:12 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (undisclosed) was checked out on the sidelines by doctors during Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panthers, but he was able to return to the game.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas was a bit shaken up after a hit from linebacker Luke Kuechly, but he appears to have avoided any serious injury.

Broncos | Emmanuel Sanders won't face Josh Norman

Fri, 05 Feb 2016 09:53:35 -0800

Carolina Panthers CB Josh Norman said he doesn't expect to line up at all against Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders in Super Bowl 50. Norman is expected to cover Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas instead.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas has six catches for 52 yards in just two playoff games this year, and he's been plagued by costly drops throughout the year. However, he finished 2015 with 105 catches for 1,304 yards and six touchdowns, so he's still a top receiving talent. But it won't be easy against Norman, who is having an All-Pro season.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas was shut down by Pats

Thu, 21 Jan 2016 09:58:49 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas had just one catch for 36 yards against New England Patriots CB Logan Ryan in Week 12. The matchup is expected to be the same for the AFC Championship game, and Patriots CB Malcolm Butler will likely match up against WR Emmanuel Sanders.

Fantasy Tip: Don't pass up the fact that Thomas ($8,100, 16.2% of cap) caught just one of his 13 targets in that game. He should have a better performance this time out, but it's still a tough draw, and Peyton Manning hasn't been his normal self all year. At a high FantasyScore price, Thomas isn't all that attractive.

Broncos | Stay away from Demaryius Thomas?

Tue, 19 Jan 2016 19:03:04 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas will face a New England Patriots pass defense in the AFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 24, which allowed 240.7 yards per game through the air, ranking 17th in the NFL during the regular season.

Fantasy Tip: It appears Thomas ($8,100, 16.2% of cap) is in line for a decent stat line, but considering Bill Belichick and defensive coordinator Matt Patricia go through painstaking work to take away the opposing top receiver and make others beat them, Thomas looks like a risky FantasyScore play. He managed just one grab for 36 yards in the first meeting Nov. 29. Sanders looks like the better play, as he was last week against Pittsburgh, and back in Week 11 vs. New England.

Broncos | Denver receivers struggle with drops

Tue, 19 Jan 2016 10:25:09 -0800

The Denver Broncos had 31 dropped passes in the regular season, which was around two per game. WR Demaryius Thomas had a career-high 17 drops this season. Thomas had five drops in the first meeting with the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas only had one catch on a whopping 13 targets against the Pats earlier this year. Expect much better numbers from him in the AFC Championship game this weekend.

Broncos | Four catches for Demaryius Thomas

Sun, 17 Jan 2016 17:26:01 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas finished with four catches for 40 yards in a 23-16 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the divisional round of the playoffs Sunday, Jan. 17.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas had a relatively quiet outing, and there is no guarantee he will rebound in the conference title game against New England. He managed just one catch on 13 targets against the Patriots in the regular season, but it is worth noting that Peyton Manning didn't play in that game.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas may have extra motivation

Thu, 14 Jan 2016 09:05:06 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas' mother, Katina Smith, could see him play in a football game for the first time in over 17 years in the divisional round game against the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday, Jan. 17. Thomas was 11 years old when his mother was arrested for trafficking narcotics. "Yeah, she can travel now, so we're working on that," Thomas said. "It would mean a lot. It would be her first game. I would be excited. I know she'll be excited. It would mean to see her first game live."

Fantasy Tip: The Steelers allowed the second-most PPR fantasy points (41.6) to receivers all season long, so Thomas ($8,500, 17.0% of cap) is certainly a wise daily choice this weekend, regardless of whether you have hesitations about Peyton Manning.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas posts 117 yards, TD

Sun, 03 Jan 2016 22:13:33 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas hauled in five receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown in the Week 17 game against the San Diego Chargers. He was targeted nine times.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas did not show any ill-effects of his hamstring injury while posting his second-highest yardage total of the season. He had just one touchdown over his first nine games, but he finished with five scores in his final seven outings. He is back and a WR1 for FantasyScore owners heading into the playoffs.

Broncos | Denver's top two WRs probable

Fri, 01 Jan 2016 13:45:24 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) and WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 1, and are listed as probable for the Week 17 game against the San Diego Chargers.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas ($7,500, 15.0% of cap) and Sanders ($6,900, 13.8% of cap) have both surpassed the 1,000-yard mark this season and has posted decent numbers over the last few weeks. They will deal with a tough matchup this week but should still be starting options in most leagues.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas limited

Thu, 31 Dec 2015 14:57:56 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 31.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas ($7,500, 15.0% of cap) was downgraded from a full practice Wednesday, Dec. 30, but should still have a decent shot to play in Week 17 against the San Diego Chargers. It should be a favorable matchup for Thomas, so he should be a starting option in all leagues.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas not limited in practice

Wed, 30 Dec 2015 23:11:50 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) was listed as a full participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 30.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas ($7,500, 15.0% of cap) will face a San Diego Chargers pass defense which has yielded 21 passing touchdowns and 51 pass plays of 20 or more yards. He might shake free for a few big plays, and he'll roll up at least eight receptions in this favorable matchup for FantasyScore owners.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas has hamstring injury

Tue, 29 Dec 2015 09:26:53 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury in Week 16.

Fantasy Tip: There's no word on the severity of it. Thomas ($7,500, 15.0% of cap) would be a low-end WR1 option against the San Diego Chargers on FantasyScore.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas targeted often

Mon, 28 Dec 2015 22:31:31 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas caught seven passes for 59 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 16. He was targeted a team-high 12 times during the game.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas has been posting solid stats over the last four games with at least five catches in each game and three touchdowns in that span. He should be a solid option for owners next week since he will have a favorable matchup.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas scores twice

Sun, 20 Dec 2015 18:44:33 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas caught five passes for 61 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-27 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 15.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas caught multiple touchdowns for the first time this year, and while he hasn't been as explosive as in years past, he has still managed to amass 1,128 receiving yards.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders probable

Fri, 18 Dec 2015 15:15:26 -0800

Denver Broncos WRs Demaryius Thomas (non-injury) and Emmanuel Sanders (finger) both practiced in full Friday, Dec. 18, and are probable for Week 15 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas ($7,900, 15.8% of cap) has struggled with drops at times this year but remains an upper-echelon fantasy receiver that can take advantage of this great matchup if Brock Osweiler looks his way often. He's a better pick than Sanders ($6,700, 13.4% of cap), but Sanders also has the talent to reward daily gamers in this one, too.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas being rested

Thu, 17 Dec 2015 12:37:34 -0800

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (shoulder, rest) was being rested in practice Thursday, Dec. 17, according to head coach Gary Kubiak.

Fantasy Tip: Despite crucial drops at times this year for Thomas ($7,900, 15.8% of cap), he remains an upper-tier receiver, even with Brock Osweiler at the helm for at least another week. The Pittsburgh Steelers allow the third-most PPR fantasy points (41.7) per week to wideouts this year, too, so Thomas is a fine pick this weekend.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas has injured shoulder

Thu, 17 Dec 2015 10:44:30 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (shoulder) did not practice Thursday, Dec. 17, after hurting his shoulder in the Week 14 game against the Oakland Raiders.

Fantasy Tip: A 10-catch, 95-yard day in Week 14 for Thomas ($7,900, 15.8% of cap) overshadowed some crucial drops -- and one that could have gone for a touchdown. Thomas has been targeted double-digit times in nine games this season, so he's still an effective fantasy weapon. Drops have plagued him, but he has a nice matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 15. If he's healthy enough to play, he should be able to help fantasy owners if the Broncos get him the ball early and often.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas posts 10 grabs

Sun, 13 Dec 2015 22:16:41 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas posted 10 receptions for 95 yards in the Week 14 game against the Oakland Raiders, and he was targeted 14 times. He also lost a fumble.

Fantasy Tip: The yardage total was Thomas' most since Nov. 1 against Green Bay, but he was held out of the end zone for the eighth time in the past 10 games. Lately he just hasn't posted results which warrant a high FantasyScore salary.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas aware of coverage change

Wed, 09 Dec 2015 12:32:07 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas said he has noticed how opponents have adjusted their coverage in how they press at the line of scrimmage.

Fantasy Tip: Perhaps this is one reason why Thomas ($7,900, 15.8% of cap) hasn't been as productive as he usually is. Coverages, drops and of course a big quarterback change are hard to deal with right away, but Thomas remains a top fantasy wideout, including this week versus an average Oakland Raiders pass defense.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas struggling with Osweiler

Thu, 03 Dec 2015 10:36:42 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas averaged 7.6 catches and 90.7 receiving yards per game with QB Peyton Manning under center this year, but he's averaging only two receptions and 47.5 yards per game with QB Brock Osweiler.

Fantasy Tip: While the sample size is smaller with Osweiler and Thomas ($8,100, 16.2% of cap) (just two full games), it seems the quarterback and receiver just aren't on the same page, at least not yet. Thomas struggled mightily with drops in bad weather in Week 12, too. Thomas won't be held down for long, and we expect him to bounce back, but paying up for him in daily formats this week against a respectable San Diego Chargers secondary might let you down.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas quiet on SNF

Sun, 29 Nov 2015 22:49:42 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas was held without a catch until late in the fourth quarter of the Week 12 game against the New England Patriots. While he was targeted 13 times, he hauled in just one ball for 36 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas appeared to be on his way to a blanking before his long gainer in the final minutes of regulation. He also appeared to have some issue with slippage on the snowy surface, and did not look entirely comfortable in the inclement weather. That might be something to watch in future games.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas goes without TD again

Sun, 15 Nov 2015 21:13:16 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas posted team highs with seven catches and 71 yards in the Week 10 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. He was targeted a game-high 10 times.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas has 50 or more receiving yards in each of his nine games, and 71 or more yards in six of his past eight. However, he has just one touchdown, and none in the past six games. He hasn't earned his FantasyScore salary most weeks due to his failure to score touchdowns.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas targeted seven times

Sun, 08 Nov 2015 19:18:46 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas had five catches for 50 yards in the Week 9 game against the Indianapolis Colts. He was targeted seven times.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas ($8,400, 16.8% of cap) fell well short of his third straight 100-yard game. He is a little overpriced in FantasyScore considering the fact he hasn't found the end zone in five straight games dating back to Week 3.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas piles up yardage

Sun, 01 Nov 2015 22:22:32 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas did not find the end zone in Week 8 against the Green Bay Packers, but he finished with eight receptions for a season-high 168 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas ($8,400, 16.8% of cap) has posted 92 or more yards in five of his past six games, and he has hit the century mark in each of his past two games. Unfortunately he has just one touchdown on the season, so that has held down his FantasyScore appeal.

Broncos | Denvers WRs still an elite duo

Denver Broncos WRs Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders are the only receiving duo in the NFL in the top 10 in catches, targets and receiving yards.

Fantasy Tip: The Broncos have really struggled from an offensive standpoint this year, but Thomas and Sanders are still elite wide receivers, although, their touchdowns have been lacking this year. Once Thomas starts scoring more, they'll both be in WR1 territory.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas targeted often

Mon, 19 Oct 2015 10:39:26 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas recorded a season-high 17 targets in a Week 6 win against the Cleveland Browns. Thomas is now second in the NFL with 75 targets.

Fantasy Tip: Despite a drop here and there and despite Denver's offensive struggles, Thomas is still an elite wide receiver, both in real life and in fantasy football. He has even dealt with a neck injury the last two weeks. The Broncos are on a bye in Week 7, but Thomas should still be started every week thereafter.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas struggling with drops

Mon, 19 Oct 2015 08:20:30 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas has seven drops through six games this season. "I've got to figure something out. I ain't playing my best right now,'' Thomas said. "I take the blame for that."

Fantasy Tip: Thomas is still highly productive with a 48-527-1 line on the season and worth consideration for a midrange WR1 on FantasyScore after their Week 7 bye.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas over 100 yards

Sun, 18 Oct 2015 20:45:52 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas posted a season-high 10 receptions for 111 yards in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns. It was just his second 100-yard receiving game of the season. He was targeted 17 times.

Fantasy Tip: The Broncos offense has been struggling, and Thomas ($8,400, 16.8% of cap) has found the end zone just once through six games. Still, he is a high-end FantasyScore option because he has 11 or more targets in five of his six outings.
