Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas caught five passes on nine targets for 64 yards and a touchdown in a 20-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11, his third straight game with a touchdown.

Fantasy Tip: The quarterback situation in Denver isn't ideal, but Thomas is still chugging along as a low-end WR2.

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 17, and is not on the injury report for Week 11.

RB Jamaal Charles (non-injury related), LB Todd Davis (ankle), WR Bennie Fowler (ankle), DE Adam Gotsis (hamstring), OG Ronald Leary (elbow), LB Brandon M. Marshall (shoulder), QB Brock Osweiler (shoulder), DL Domata Peko (non-injury related), LB Shane Ray (wrist), CB Aqib Talib (non-injury related) and WR Demaryius Thomas (knee) practiced in full Friday and no longer appear on the injury report.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas logs full practice

Thu, 16 Nov 2017 15:36:21 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (knee) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 16.

Fantasy Tip: Since he was a limited participant on Wednesday, this news should ensure he's out there on Sunday. Even with Brock Osweiler at quarterback, Thomas proved last week that he can still be a dependable WR2, as he managed to draw at least eight targets for the fourth time in five games, not to mention while delivering a touchdown for the second consecutive Sunday.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas limited

Wed, 15 Nov 2017 14:41:29 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (knee) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 15.

Fantasy Tip: You're not going to bench Thomas, but the Cincinnati Bengals have been tough against wide receivers this year. Somewhat surprisingly, Thomas has scored in two straight games with Brock Osweiler starting, so keep viewing him as a solid WR2.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas reaches pay dirt

Mon, 13 Nov 2017 05:33:34 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas had five catches for 44 yards and a score in the Week 10 loss to the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Tip: After not recording a touchdown for nearly a full calendar year, he has two in consecutive weeks. He remains a WR2 against the Cincinnati Bengals next week.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas ready for Week 10

Fri, 10 Nov 2017 14:04:17 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) practiced in full on Friday, Nov. 10, and was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 10 game against the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Tip: What looked like a favorable matchup earlier in the season has turned into a tough matchup. The Patriots defense has been much better of late, and the Broncos pass game has been atrocious lately. Thomas is a decent low-end WR2 in PPR formats, and a WR3 or flex play in standard leagues.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas returns to practice

Thu, 09 Nov 2017 16:20:54 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) was a limited participant at practice Thursday, Nov. 9.

Fantasy Tip: This is good news for owners of Thomas, who sat out practice on Wednesday, but that was probably just for resting purposes. While the inclusion of Brock Osweiler under center scares people away from using anyone on Denver's offense, Thomas should be the exception after he piled up plenty of stats -- including his first 2017 touchdown -- in garbage time. With a probable decisive loss to the Patriots on tap, there could be plenty more of that for Thomas in Week 10.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas absent from practice

Wed, 08 Nov 2017 13:22:00 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Fantasy Tip: Denver's offense is in shambles, but Thomas has been the one constant of late. He scored his first touchdown of the year last week and was targeted 12 times by Brock Osweiler. Thomas remains solidly in WR2 territory going forward as long as he's healthy enough to play. Stay tuned.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas posts 70 yards, TD

Sun, 05 Nov 2017 17:59:35 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas reeled in eight receptions for 70 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets in Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas hadn't scored a touchdown since Week 10, or Nov. 13, 2016, last season, a span of 13 straight games without a visit to the end zone. It was expected he might struggle with lesser quarterback play since Peyton Manning retired, but he has really gone downhill. He remains more of a low-end WR2 in most fantasy leagues at this point.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas extends TD drought on MNF

Mon, 30 Oct 2017 21:15:56 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas finished with five catches on nine targets for 66 yards in the team's Week 8 game Monday, Oct. 30, versus the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fantasy Tip: Remarkably, Thomas still has zero touchdowns in 2017, though most of the blame could be placed on Trevor Siemian, who has simply been mostly bad this season. This game wasn't all bad for Thomas' owners, considering he's had two outings this year in which he was held to less than 12 yards, but more is certainly expected than what he's produced up to this point. At least the targets are there, as Thomas has drawn eight or more targets in five of seven games.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas gets shut down

Sun, 22 Oct 2017 20:18:26 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas posted just two receptions for nine yards on six targets in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas had a long catch and run negated by an offensive pass interference call or his stat line would have been much different. He'll look to get back on track next Monday night in Kansas City. For now, he is best used as a low-end WR2 in most fantasy leagues.

RB Jamaal Charles (non-injury), TE A.J. Derby (non-injury), LB Brandon M. Broncos | Demaryius Thomas on track to play

Fri, 20 Oct 2017 15:40:30 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (calf) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 20, and is not on the injury report for Week 7.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas has been targeted at least eight times in four of the five games this season and could see even more targets this week with Emmanuel Sanders sidelined. Thomas should be a No. 1 or No. 2 fantasy receiver in all leagues.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas returns to practice

Thu, 19 Oct 2017 16:01:29 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (calf) was back at practice Thursday, Oct. 19, and got in a full session.

Fantasy Tip: This should put Thomas in line to play on Sunday against the rival Chargers, and he'll have one of the best situations of any receiver this weekend with Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) sidelined. Owners can confidently fire up Thomas as their WR1, and he'll also be a strong DFS play, too, with more than 10 targets very likely coming his way.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas will practice Thursday

Wed, 18 Oct 2017 20:24:03 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (leg) is expected to return to practice Thursday, Oct. 19, according to head coach Vance Joseph, who added that Thomas "needed one more day to get it right."

Fantasy Tip: Thomas should be out there on Sunday, and he'll bring along his usual WR1 potential, especially considering Denver's current state of affairs within the receiving corps. Emmanuel Sanders will be out, meaning Thomas has a legitimate chance to build off Sunday night's performance when he recorded season highs in catches (10) and receiving yards (133).

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas held out of practice

Wed, 18 Oct 2017 11:48:10 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (leg) did not practice Wednesday, Oct. 18.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas appeared to leave the game multiple times in Sunday night's loss to the New York Giants but returned each time to post season highs in catches (10) and receiving yards (133). With Emmanuel Sanders expected to miss multiple weeks with an ankle injury, Thomas is in prime position to attract 10-plus targets in his absence, making him a very solid WR2 candidate in most leagues.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas over 100 yards

Mon, 16 Oct 2017 05:13:18 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas had 10 catches for 133 yards in a Week 6 loss to the New York Giants.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas only dropped four passes, but he did enough to convince fantasy owners of his WR1 status. He was a bright spot in an otherwise dismal outing for the Orange and Blue.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas returns to field

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 19:53:14 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (leg) suffered a lower leg injury in the Week 6 game against the New York Giants, but he was able to return.

Fantasy Tip: The Broncos are super thin at the receiver position with Emmanuel Sanders also checking out due to what looked to be a more serious injury. Thomas returned after a brief time in the locker room, but he proceeded to lose a fumble on his first catch back on the field.

Broncos | One catch for Demaryius Thomas

Sun, 01 Oct 2017 18:47:41 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas caught one pass on five targets for 11 yards in a 16-10 win over the Oakland Raiders Sunday, Oct. 1.

Fantasy Tip: Normally one of the steadiest receivers, Thomas posted season lows across the board in what was an ugly offensive showing by both sides. Look for him to bounce back when the Broncos return from a bye to the face Baltimore Ravens.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas leads way in loss

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 15:02:31 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas posted six receptions for a game-high 98 yards on nine targets in Week 3 at Buffalo.

Fantasy Tip: Fantasy owners who get a bonus at 100 yards might complain a little, but it was a solid day for Thomas, especially in PPR formats. He remains a solid WR2 in all formats heading into Week 4 against the Raiders.

Fri, 22 Sep 2017 15:14:49 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) fully participated in practice and is not on the injury report for Week 3.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas is off to a solid start this season with 11 catches and 138 yards in two games. He will continue to be a focal point in the passing game for Denver and should be considered a No. 2 fantasy receiver in all leagues.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas logs full practice

Thu, 21 Sep 2017 15:22:48 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) was a full participant at practice Thursday, Sept. 21.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas was limited on Wednesday as a result of his hamstring ailment, but it doesn't look like it'll mess with his status come Sunday. Although he has a tough matchup on tap in Buffalo, Thomas should still maintain his WR2 value. Through two games, the 29-year-old has recorded 11 catches for 138 yards. As long as Trevor Siemian continues to play well, the touchdowns should come soon.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas limited

Wed, 20 Sep 2017 14:03:16 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, Sept. 20.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas has practiced and played with more than his fair share of injuries throughout his career. This shouldn't keep him from taking the field this weekend unless is worsens over the next few days. View Thomas as a low-end WR1 in a solid matchup versus the Buffalo Bills.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas posts six receptions

Sun, 17 Sep 2017 20:43:38 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas racked up six receptions for 71 yards on eight targets in Week 1 against the Cowboys.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas was working against an injury-plagued secondary and he was busy, but unfortunately it was Emmanuel Sanders with two touchdowns to none for Thomas. He'll look to re-discover the end zone in Week 3 in Buffalo.

Broncos | Denver WRs facing banged up secondary

Fri, 15 Sep 2017 16:00:23 -0700

Denver Broncos WRs Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders will be facing a banged up Dallas Cowboys secondary in Week 2 since CB Orlando Scandrick (hand) and CB Chido Awuzie (hamstring) are dealing with injuries. CB Anthony Brown replaced Scandrick as the nickel back in Week 1 and Awuzie was starting opposite CB Nolan Carroll. FS Byron Jones (groin) is also listed as questionable for the game.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas and Sanders likely receive more targets in Week 2 because of the injuries to Dallas' secondary and will look to post better numbers than they did in Week 1. Thomas should be considered at least a No. 2 receiver in most leagues, while Sanders can be a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy receiver.

Thu, 07 Sep 2017 16:48:11 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 7.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas will receive his normal workload in Week 1 and should be targeted often during the game. Thomas has been a reliable fantasy option over the last few years and should be a No. 1 or No. 2 receiver this week.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas back at practice

Wed, 06 Sep 2017 11:51:31 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (groin) returned to practice for the first time in nearly two weeks. Thomas was injured during the team's third preseason game.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas hasn't missed a game in five seasons, but the injuries are starting to pile up and he will turn 30 on Christmas, so there is some potential for a disappointing season. Then again, he's managed to rack up five straight seasons of at least 90 catches, so disappointing may be a relative term. He should be considered a strong WR2 as long as he remains healthy this season.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas out of practice

Mon, 04 Sep 2017 10:31:31 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (groin) is out of practice Monday, Sept. 4.

Fantasy Tip: His Week 1 status isn't supposed to be in question, but his absence today may start to tickle the alarm handle. He's a high-end WR2 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas absent Monday

Mon, 28 Aug 2017 11:42:31 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (groin) missed practice Monday, Aug. 28.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas' injury not serious

Sun, 27 Aug 2017 06:59:46 -0700

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (groin) will not miss the start of the regular season due to the groin injury he suffered in the preseason game against the Green Bay Packers Saturday, Aug. 26.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas was removed as a precautionary measure, so fantasy owners do not need to be alarmed. He should be viewed as a high-end WR2 in all formats, even though Denver's quarterback situation is less than ideal.

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (groin) exited the preseason game against the Green Bay Packers with a groin injury Saturday, Aug. 26, and will not return.

Fantasy Tip: Hopefully Thomas is just being held out as a precaution, but if the injury turns out to be serious, Emmanuel Sanders would be in line for a ton of targets and have a shot at WR2 production.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas likes the offense

Thu, 10 Aug 2017 18:16:29 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas said he is excited about the system of offensive coordinator Mike McCoy.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas' hip pain is gone

Mon, 10 Jul 2017 07:52:31 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hip) said the pain in his hip that bothered him last season is gone.

Fantasy Tip: DT has been declining each of the last three years, and he turns 30 late in the season. There's no reason to believe he'll return to the WR1 area after combining for 11 touchdowns the last two years, but he's a solid WR2 in fantasy.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas still going strong

Sun, 09 Jul 2017 18:30:23 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas is one of three players in NFL history with five or more consecutive seasons with at least 90 receptions and at least 1,000 yards, and he said he thinks he still has a couple of good years left.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas was able to put up solid numbers again last year despite a less-than-ideal quarterback situation, and he is a borderline WR1 with a high floor.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas hopes for quick QB decision

Fri, 07 Jul 2017 17:56:50 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas said he hopes the Broncos decide on a starting quarterback before their second preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers. QB Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch will be competing for the job when training camp begins.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas probably wants an early decision so he can build chemistry with the starting quarterback but may have to wait until after the third preseason game. Thomas will be the No. 1 receiver for the Broncos no matter the quarterback and should be considered a No. 1 or No. 2 fantasy receiver. Owners should consider the winner of the quarterback competition as a No. 2 fantasy quarterback.

Denver Broncos WR Cody Latimer might have one of the hottest seats among Broncos' wide receivers this offseason, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Jeff Legwold. Tue, 30 May 2017 16:23:26 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (personal) missed organized team activities Tuesday, May 30, due to a personal issue, according to head coach Vance Joseph. Joseph expects Thomas to return to practice this week. WR Cody Latimer practiced with the first-team in Thomas's place.

Fantasy Tip: The extent of the personal issue is unknown, but Thomas is healthy and is ready to lead the Broncos in receiving again this year. He's comfortably sitting in WR2 territory despite subpar quarterback play.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas feels better than ever

Thu, 25 May 2017 14:29:32 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas said he's feeling the best he's felt in his entire career.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas hasn't missed a game in five straight seasons despite dealing with a fair share of bumps and bruises. Thomas's numbers were gaudy with Peyton Manning, but he still managed to record a season of 90 catches, 1000-plus yards and five touchdowns last year without Manning. As such, he sits comfortably in high-end WR2 territory.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas seeking more YAC

Tue, 11 Apr 2017 20:35:48 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas said one reason he is looking forward to playing under offensive coordinator Mike McCoy again is because of his more frequent use of wide receiver screen passes, which will increase his yards after the catch totals. Thomas previously ranked in the top-two among receivers in yards after the catch in 2012 and 2013, but without McCoy, those numbers dropped significantly. This past season, Thomas had 336 yards after the catch, ranking him 25th among receivers.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas has been one of the steadiest receivers around, hauling in at least 90 receptions and registering more than 1,000 yards in each of the last five seasons. That's basically as consistent as it gets, but the fact remains that the seven-year veteran is coming off a campaign that saw him put up his fewest catches (90) and yards (1,083) since that streak first began. The return of McCoy figures to provide Thomas with a boost, so his stat line from a year ago could be viewed as his floor for the 2017 season.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas working on hips

Tue, 11 Apr 2017 12:16:00 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hips) said he has spent the early part of the offseason making his hips healthy. He does not need surgery, but he was not at 100 percent either. Thomas added that his hips bothered him for much of 2016 but doesn't believe they'll be an issue this year.

Fantasy Tip: Thomas has been one of the most consistent wide receivers in the NFL over the last five years. A big factor in that consistency is that he has not missed a single game in those five years. In that span, he has averaged 98.4 catches, 1,374.0 yards and 9.2 touchdowns per season. Those numbers are obviously inflated somewhat because of Peyton Manning, but even last year he managed 90 catches for 1,083 yards and five scores. He's solidly in WR2 territory heading into 2017.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas remains consistent

Sat, 25 Feb 2017 21:04:26 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas ranked in the top 15 in the NFL in both receptions and receiving yards in 2016, and he has caught at least 90 passes and topped 1,000 yards in each of the last five years.

Fantasy Tip: Despite a lackluster quarterback situation, Thomas still managed to put together a solid campaign. Even if Denver's quarterback play remains shaky, you can at least count on Thomas sneaking into WR2 territory.

Broncos | Demaryius Thomas held in check

Sun, 25 Dec 2016 21:09:18 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas caught three of his eight targets for 20 yards in a 33-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday, Dec. 25.

Fantasy Tip: Trevor Siemian had a bad night, and the Denver offense just couldn't move the ball. Better days should be ahead for Thomas, and he can be a WR2 against Oakland in Week 17.
