Thomas could begin training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list, but he could still be ready for Week 1.

Seattle Seahawks FS Earl Thomas (shoulder) said he won't miss the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots with a dislocated shoulder, but he also admitted that it won't be a normal game for him as he plays through the injury. Thomas is unsure if he'll need to have surgery this offseason for his injury. "My mindset is I have an opportunity to really trust my teammates," Thomas said. "This is the first game I'm going to have to trust them because of my injury. So I really, really, really trust my teammates, and that's what I'm banking on, my teammates doing what they need to do and I need to come through myself." He could remain limited in practices this week leading up to the Super Bowl.

However, both Sherman and Thomas said they will play in the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots. The preliminary diagnosis for Sherman was a sprain, but doctors were concerned he might have a nerve impingement, according to a source.
