Arizona Cardinals RB Jonathan Dwyer pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor and was placed on probation Thursday, Jan. 29, in a case that stemmed from alleged assaults on his wife during arguments the couple had last year. He pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to 18 months of probation and community service. Felony aggravated assault and criminal damage were dismissed.

Arizona Cardinals RB Jonathan Dwyer's bond was lowered Monday, Oct. 20, for his release from jail. Dwyer was arrested for assault charges against his wife. The bond was reduced from $25,000 to $10,000 and Dwyer is no longer required to wear an ankle monitoring bracelet. Dwyer posted bail Sept. 17.

Arizona Cardinals RB Jonathan Dwyer, who was charged in a domestic violence case involving his wife and young son, may not return to the team unless he's exonerated from his charges, according to head coach Bruce Arians. Dwyer was placed on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list, which means he can't return for the rest of the season. The Cardinals will continue to pay his $730,000 salary.
Fantasy Tip: If you own Dwyer in a deep league, it's safe to drop him at this point, since it'll likely be a while before his legal course plays out.
