Fantasy Tip: Graham should be good to go for Sunday, and although he hasn't scored yet, his owners should continue to be patient. The former New Orleans Saint has picked it up in his last two games, totaling 11 catches for 133 yards over that span. If Doug Baldwin (groin) has to miss Week 5, Graham figures to see an uptick in targets as well.

Seahawks | Jimmy Graham to be game-time decision

Fri, 22 Sep 2017 09:39:09 -0700

Seattle Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) was able to practice Friday, Sept. 22, but will be a game-time decision for Week 3 versus the Tennessee Titans, according to head coach Pete Carroll.

Fantasy Tip: The Seahawks' offense has been mostly dysfunctional through two games, and the combination of Russell Wilson leading him into big hits and Graham not being able to come up with a few of the good throws that have come his way have led to a frustrating start (four catches for nine yards). For at least this week, owners should consider other options.

Seahawks | Jimmy Graham nursing sore ankle

Mon, 18 Sep 2017 10:03:20 -0700

Seattle Seahawks Jimmy Graham (ankle) came away from Week 2 with a sore ankle and it is "unclear" at the moment if he will play in Week 3 versus the Tennessee Titans.

Fantasy Tip: Graham appeared to injure his left knee in Week 2 after getting rolled up while blocking on a running play, but it is possible he came away from the play with more pain in his ankle instead. At any rate, the 30-year-old has had a rough start to the season, committing some bad drops and getting blasted by defenders on at least a couple of occasions. He'll most likely turn it around when Seattle gets its passing game on track, but he needs to sit in fantasy leagues for the time being.

Seahawks | Jimmy Graham fees much better

Mon, 07 Aug 2017 13:13:17 -0700

Seattle Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham (knee) said he feels almost 100 times better than he did at his point last year. Graham was rehabilitating from a ruptured patellar tendon twice a day to be prepared for games. Additionally, he is down to 260 pounds from around 280 pounds last season.

Fantasy Tip: Graham is an elite tight end when he is healthy, and he still finished as the No. 2 fantasy tight end last year. Give him a look in the early- to-middle rounds of fantasy drafts.

Sat, 05 Aug 2017 20:24:03 -0700

Seattle Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham needs to see more opportunities in the red zone, offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell said Saturday, Aug. 5.

Fantasy Tip: Graham was one of the most productive tight ends in the league last year, and more looks in the red zone will only help his cause. He should be one of the better TE1 options.

Seahawks | Jimmy Graham wasn't all the way back

Thu, 03 Aug 2017 08:05:46 -0700

Seattle Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham (knee) had his knee managed by the team last season, according to head coach Pete Carroll, who thinks Graham could have a big year in 2017. "We had to manage him the whole year," Carroll said. "He just kept hanging in there. He played in every game and didn't miss any time, but he wasn't at his best."

Fantasy Tip: Graham was third among tight ends with 923 receiving yards to go with six scores. That should be viewed as a miraculous return from a ruptured patellar tendon. He probably won't return to the game-breaking level he was at with the New Orleans Saints, but that's in part due to his diminished role in the passing game. He sees almost three fewer targets per game in this offense, but he can still be a top-five tight end in fantasy.

Seahawks | Jimmy Graham admits he barely practiced

Tue, 31 Jan 2017 19:27:07 -0800

Seattle Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham admitted at the Pro Bowl that he "barely practiced" during the weeks leading up to Sundays this season so that he'd be ready for the games. In addition, he "barely" did any work in the offseason or training camp either, according to teammates.

Fantasy Tip: Graham was returning from a torn patellar tendon, a serious injury that many thought would severely hobble him throughout the rest of his career, but instead, the former New Orleans Saint responded with a 65-catch, six-touchdown season, which also included his most receiving yards (923) since 2013. With a normal offseason on tap, it's very possible Graham reclaims the top ranking amongst all NFL tight ends in 2017. He should be monitored closely in all drafts.

Seahawks | Jimmy Graham scores all TDs at home

Thu, 26 Jan 2017 12:11:13 -0800

Seattle Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham caught all six of his touchdowns at home this season.

Fantasy Tip: Graham bounced back from a disappointing 2015 season and finished this season with 65 receptions, 923 yards and six touchdowns in 16 games. Graham likely will have a similar role with the Seahawks next season and can be a No. 1 tight end in fantasy leagues.

Seahawks | Jimmy Graham will likely be back

Tue, 17 Jan 2017 06:36:20 -0800

Seattle Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham is likely to return to the Seahawks next year, and head coach Pete Carroll raved about his play in 2016. "I thought Jimmy had a terrific year," Carroll said. "He was explosive. He was dynamic. He blocked like he's never blocked before. He became a factor on the perimeter blocking stuff, and he's a highlight film. He's got so many big plays that he made during the year."

Fantasy Tip: Graham is entering the final year of his contract, and none of the $10 million is guaranteed. Graham bounced back from a ruptured patellar tendon with a 65-923-6 line. It wasn't the game-breaking 86-1,215-16 season from 2013, but his 14.2 yards per reception were a career high. Another good sign was a big second half after a slow start. The position is deeper now than it was at his peak, but he'll still be a high-end TE1 to consider in drafts.

Seattle Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 13, and is not on the injury report for the Divisional round playoff game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Fantasy Tip: Graham has been targeted four times or fewer in four of his last five games but is still a weapon in Seattle's passing game. He posted 89 yards against the Falcons in the regular season and should be considered a No. 1 tight end in fantasy leagues.
