Dallas Cowboys LB Sean Lee (neck) has been medically cleared to participate in offseason workouts, according to a source. Lee has started individual workouts at the team's facility. Lee missed the final three games of the 2013 season because of torn ligaments in his neck.

The Dallas Cowboys converted contracts for CB's Orlando Scandrick and Sean Lee on Monday, March 3. Skandrick converted $3.75 million of his salary to bonus money spread out over the length of the contract, while Lee had $4.75 million converted.

Dallas Cowboys LB Sean Lee (neck) is still waiting to be cleared by the team's medical staff two months after suffering a torn ligament in his neck. He has been rehabbing at the team's facilities and says his neck is improving. "I'm working all the neck exercises," Lee said. "I think it was just having time to heal, allowing that ligament to heal and it takes a certain amount of time. I think we're on the path to where it's pretty much there." Lee said he will not need surgery.

Dallas Cowboys LB Sean Lee (hamstring, neck) said Saturday, Jan. 18, that he is on the mend and that he does not "anticipate any surgery" to repair the sprained ligament in his neck suffered in November. "Neck's getting better," he said. "It's on its way. I should be ready to go. I think we'll evaluate it more as the year goes on or the next couple of months. But I should be ready for everything this offseason and be fine for next year."

The Dallas Cowboys may look to restructure the contracts of QB Tony Romo, LB Sean Lee, TE Jason Witten and CB Brandon Carr this offseason. The team could create around $21 million in salary cap space if they restructured the four contracts.

LB Ernie Sims (groin) sat out practice and is considered doubtful. CB Morris Claiborne (hamstring), DB Jakar Hamilton (hip), WR Dwayne Harris (hamstring), DT Jason Hatcher (neck), LB DeVonte Holloman (hip), DE George Selvie (back) and DE Jarius Wynn (chest) each practiced fully and are considered probable.
