Langley, CB Doyle Miller, TE Shawn Nelson, DB Joshua Nesbitt, WR Naaman Roosevelt, C Michael Switzer, T Jason Watkins and OL Mansfield Wrotto. The team waived injured SS Jon Corto (undisclosed), WR Felton Huggins (concussion), LB Jammie Kirlew (undisclosed) and OT Ed Wang (shoulder). The team also placed RB Bruce Hall (undisclosed) on Injured Reserve, ending his 2011 season.

LB Wesley Woodyard and LB Joe Mays will likely be the top reserves at inside linebacker. LBs Baraka Atkins, Jason Hunter, Jammie Kirlew and Kevin Alexander will likely be fighting for two roster spots at outside linebacker.

Updating a previous item, Denver Broncos LB Jammie Kirlew signed a four-year, $1.84 million contract Tuesday, May 25, reports NationalFootballPost.com's Aaron Wilson, citing a league source. Kirlew received a signing bonus of roughly $50,000.

NFL | Kirlew working on being an OLB

Indiana DE Jammie Kirlew said during the NFL Scouting Combine that he expects to be "a 'tweener" in the NFL. Kirlew added, "I'll either have my hand on the ground in a 4-3 or stand up as an outsider linebacker in a 3-4. I need to be able to show I can do it either way." Kirlew said he has been working on becoming an outside linebacker this offseason. "I feel much more comfortable now learning the scheme and physically going out there and doing those motions."
