Buffalo Bills WR Robert Woods was mentioned in a group of wide receivers by general manager Doug Whaley who are considered not to be No. 2 receivers. Whaley said the Bills have a mix of guys who may not be bona fide No. 2 receivers, but who they can use in different roles.
Fantasy Tip: Woods' play has been fairly lackluster over the course of his career. He has played well particularly when Sammy Watkins has been injured, but when Watkins is healthy there's not really another big receiving threat, as Whaley alluded to. Woods may still need to fight for a starting wide receiver position this offseason.

Buffalo Bills general manager Doug Whaley doesn't really see a quarterback from the 2016 draft class that would be ready to step into a starting role in the NFL immediately. "I think it's a deep crop and I think it's a crop that's going to need some time," Whaley said. "Now, it depends on their situation, who takes them and what they do. But I would say it's not as top-heavy as last year where those top two guys would still be the top two guys. How quickly these guys can matriculate into the league, I think it's going to take a little bit of time. Maybe a year, maybe a half of a year."
Fantasy Tip: The Bills aren't sold on Tyrod Taylor enough to give him an extension, even though he outperformed almost everyone's expectations in 2015. The starting QB job should be Taylor's to lose next year, but he'll likely have competition. If he wins the job again, he'll be a strong QB2 for fantasy owners.

Buffalo Bills general manager Doug Whaley said he would consider taking a quarterback early in the draft. "If [the opportunity] presents itself, it makes sense and it's a guy we like, and we believe in, absolutely," Whaley said.
Fantasy Tip: Interesting comments from Whaley considering Tyrod Taylor exceeded expectations in 2015. Who knows how much traction his words will take as the draft nears, but one would think Buffalo's starting quarterback job is Taylor's to lose.

Buffalo Bills general manager Doug Whaley, head coach Rex Ryan and owners Terry and Kim Pegula are on good terms, contrary to reports that surfaced last week. "Ownership has been great. My relationship with Rex Ryan is something that I cherish," Whaley said. "I wake up every day happy to come in and work with him. My future, ownership doesn't have to tell me anything. I've always attacked my job with the mindset of let me do my job not to lose it, but to keep it and keep getting better. So until the ownership tells me I'm here for the long haul and get this team where we need to go."
