Chicago White Sox SP Chris Sale (elbow) doesn't expect to miss more than two starts.
Fantasy Tip: We'll temper our optimism until we see Sale get back on a mound. The good news is no structural damage was found in his left arm. Stay patient and keep tabs on his recovery process.

Updating a previous report, the Chicago White Sox will place SP Chris Sale (elbow) on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday, April 22, due to a flexor strain. An MRI showed no structural damage in Sale's left elbow, however.
Fantasy Tip: Charlie Leesman will come up from Triple-A Charlotte to start Tuesday, with Andre Rienzo making the start Wednesday. Both of those pitchers are only worth looks in deeper AL-only leagues while Sale is on the shelf. It's uncertain if Sale will be ready to return from the DL when eligible, or if he'll need a longer stint. That is still to be determined.

Chicago White Sox SP Chris Sale (undisclosed) is unlikely to make his start Tuesday, April 22, due to muscular-based soreness.
Fantasy Tip: The soreness is similar to what he experienced two years ago, so it's not expected to be an issue that forces him to the DL. However, you'll need to put him on your bench this week and keep track of his progress.

The Chicago White Sox are willing to trade any play except for 1B Paul Konerko and SP Chris Sale this summer, according to rival executives. The White Sox could part with OF Alex Rios, SS Alexei Ramirez and SP John Danks, and they are currently involved in some discussions with other clubs. The Texas Rangers, New York Yankees, San Francisco Giants, Philadelphia Phillies and Kansas City Royals could all be fits for Rios, and the Los Angeles Dodgers make sense for Ramirez.
Chicago could get the idea to sell RP Jesse Crain as a ninth-inning man during a soft market for closers. He has roughly $2.25 million left on his salary this year. SP Jake Peavy (rib) could wind up being the best available pitcher on the market this summer, but he still has three weeks before he's back from the disabled list. The White Sox will want a lot in return for Peavy, and other teams won't be sure he's completely healthy. 3B Jeff Keppinger's name has also come up, and 1B Adam Dunn may be hard to move.
