Baltimore Orioles RP Brad Brach earned his fourth win of the season Saturday, May 21, as he pitched 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief in a 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
Fantasy Tip: If your league allows you to play middle relievers, Brach is a definite option for you. Because of his position on the roster, where he serves as sort of a setup guy, Brach often gets in line for the win or an occasional strong performance. Brach has little fantasy value outside of those leagues that allow relievers like him, but keep Brach in mind otherwise.

Baltimore Orioles RP Brad Brach (leg) said he's fine after being hit in the right leg by a line drive Tuesday, May 10. Brach had a bruise on the back of his leg, but he's available Wednesday, May 11. Brach has allowed just two runs in 18 innings this year.
Fantasy Tip: Brach has a sparkling 1.00 ERA and 0.72 WHIP to go along with a 9.5 K/9. He's an excellent reliever to own in deeper leagues despite the absence of save chances while he's behind Darren O'Day and Zach Britton.

Updating a previous report, if Baltimore Orioles RP Zach Britton (ankle) misses an extended amount of time due to a sprained left ankle, RPs Brad Brach and Mychal Givens appear to be the most likely candidates to receive save opportunities. P Dylan Bundy is considered a long-shot to be used in a ninth-inning role because of his low strikeout totals, as well as the fact that the team may decide to stretch him out so that he can be used as a starter later this year.
Fantasy Tip: At this point, Britton is considered day-to-day and he is looking to avoid his first stint on the disabled list since 2012. He is one of the top closers in the game and should remain stashed in all fantasy formats. Brach appears to have an edge over Givens because of his extensive closing experience as a minor leaguer in the San Diego Padres' organization, while Givens has struggled mightily versus left-handed batters this year. Lefties are hitting .533 against Givens in 2016, while righties are batting just .182. Brach and Givens are worth adding in AL-only fantasy leagues, as well as in any other format if you're desperate for saves.
