Minnesota Twins 2B Brian Dozier is getting a routine day off Friday, June 13. SS Eduardo Escobar will play second base and bat ninth, while C Kurt Suzuki hits second in the batting order.
Fantasy Tip: Remove Dozier from your daily lineups. He was removed from Wednesday's game early as a precaution, so this isn't a surprise with yesterday being an off day. All signs point to Ron Gardenhire trying to get Dozier a little extra rest.

The Minnesota Twins optioned SS Pedro Florimon and C Chris Herrmann to Triple-A Rochester Thursday, May 8.
Fantasy Tip: This means that the Twins are comfortable using some combination of Eduardo Escobar and Danny Santana at the 6. Both are interesting additions for AL-only managers. Florimon can be discarded in all leagues.

Minnesota Twins assistant general manager Rob Antony said the team will continue to ride SS Eduardo Escobar at shortstop for now, with SS Pedro Florimon hitting .111 and stuck on the bench. SS Danny Santana will be another bench option. "Escobar is swinging the bat well," Antony said. "I think Gardy plans to play him primarily at short right now. Gardy's going to ride that one and give him a chance right now, and Danny will be more of a bench guy." The team thinks Santana may also be able to fill in in the outfield.
Fantasy Tip: Florimon can be dropped in all mixed leagues, for now. Escobar and Santana are long-term bets in AL-only leagues to take the gig away from Florimon if they prove their worth.
