Vikings | Kyle Rudolph working out

Thu, 23 Jul 2015 13:07:21 -0700

Minnesota Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph has implemented more stretching, flexibility and yoga into his routine this offseason after taking six weeks off when the season ended.

Fantasy Tip: Rudolph dealt with an ankle injury late last season, and he's dealt with injuries in seasons past. He seems to be making a more concerted effort to stay healthy this year. If he can stay on the field, he has potential to produce TE1 numbers.

Vikings | Teddy Bridgewater working with teammates

Fri, 20 Mar 2015 10:23:26 -0700

Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater is working out in California with Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph, RB Jerick McKinnon, WR Charles Johnson and TE Brandon Bostick. McKinnon and Rudolph are rooming together at Rudolph's Newport Beach, Calif., home and are taking a no-nonsense approach to their training. Rudolph organized the group event.

Fantasy Tip: The chemistry-building possibilities are encouraging, but any fantasy advice to be gleaned from this situation is realistically useless without knowing the fate of Vikings RB Adrian Peterson. The offense goes as he does.

Vikings | Kyle Rudolph eager to get healthy

Tue, 17 Feb 2015 14:26:19 -0800

Minnesota Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph is making preparations for two months of strength and conditioning as he tries to rid himself of proneness to injury. "I'd like to think no one in the league works harder than I do to stay healthy and take care of my body, but the bottom line is I haven't been, and the only way to get rid of those questions is to play 16 games," Rudolph said Monday, Feb. 16. Rudolph has only played in 17 games in two seasons.

Fantasy Tip: Rudolph has played just one full season in his four-year career, making it hard to consider him a top-tier fantasy tight end, though the talent is there. He could very well be at full health as the 2015 season commences, but there is obvious risk involved in drafting and rostering Rudolph.

Vikings | Kyle Rudolph questionable

Fri, 26 Dec 2014 15:00:42 -0800

Minnesota Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph (ankle) is questionable for Week 17.

Fantasy Tip: It would be a travesty if Rudolph is unable to go. He would face a Chicago Bears defense that is tied for the league lead with 13 scores allowed to tight ends.

Vikings | Kyle Rudolph sits out

Thu, 25 Dec 2014 14:31:38 -0800

Minnesota Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 25.

Fantasy Tip: Rudolph has missed the last two practices, so there is a good chance he will not be able to play in Week 17. Owners on FantasyScore should avoid using him this week. Rhett Ellison and Chase Ford likely would see playing time at tight end, but neither is a great option for owners.

Vikings | No practice for Kyle Rudolph

Wed, 24 Dec 2014 13:21:08 -0800

Minnesota Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 24.

Fantasy Tip: Rudolph can be a Top 12 fantasy option at his position when healthy, but FantasyScore owners likely do not want to risk it on Rudolph even though he has a very attractive matchup against a poor Chicago Bears pass defense.

Vikings | Kyle Rudolph not on the field

Wed, 24 Dec 2014 09:48:11 -0800

Minnesota Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph (ankle, knee) is not participating in practice Wednesday, Dec. 24.

Fantasy Tip: It looks like Rudolph may not be able to play this week, but he does have a few more days to return to practice. Vikings | Kyle Rudolph may play

Mon, 22 Dec 2014 14:18:07 -0800

Minnesota Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph (ankle, knee) will be active for the team's Week 17 game if he is healthy enough to play, according to head coach Mike Zimmer.

Fantasy Tip: Rudolph missed the last games because of ankle and knee injuries, but owners should monitor his practice participation this week to see if he can play in Week 17. Rudolph would have a favorable matchup against the Chicago Bears but is a risky option FantasyScore because of his injuries.
