Titans | Derrick Henry, Dion Lewis viewed equally

Tue, 05 Jun 2018 11:50:06 -0700

Tennessee Titans RBs Derrick Henry and Dion Lewis are considered 1a and 1b in the eyes of offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur.

Fantasy Tip: Henry and Lewis are tremendous complements to each other. Henry is a bruiser and Lewis is a more agile and shifty back. The latter can hold his own as a runner despite his smaller stature and brings better value to the fantasy table. Both Henry and Lewis are in the RB2 conversation with Lewis having more PPR value.

Titans | Dion Lewis expects to be involved

Fri, 13 Apr 2018 18:38:50 -0700

Tennessee Titans RB Dion Lewis said both he and RB Derrick Henry will be used in the running game. "Derrick's a great back and I'm happy to be a part of the backfield with him, so I think we can form a pretty good one-two punch," Lewis said.

Fantasy Tip: Henry is expected to take on more of the lead role this year, but Lewis should receive some carries of his own and see a lot of action on passing downs.

Titans | Dion Lewis headed for Tennessee

Tue, 13 Mar 2018 18:23:47 -0700

Free-agent RB Dion Lewis (Patriots) intends to sign a four-year deal with the Tennessee Titans, sources said Tuesday, March 13.

Fantasy Tip: Lewis will join the backfield with Derrick Henry, essentially replacing DeMarco Murray. Really, Lewis will be the change-of-pace back as Henry takes over as more of the workhorse. Still, it's a nice situation for Lewis, and he'll be a nice option catching balls out of the backfield for Marcus Mariota, who clearly needs more versatile weapons.

Dolphins | Miami a suitor for Dion Lewis

Tue, 13 Mar 2018 11:10:31 -0700

Free-agent RB Dion Lewis (Patriots) can add the Miami Dolphins to the list of teams interested in his services, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: Kenyan Drake played well for the Dolphins late last year, but Damien Williams is a free agent and Miami is looking for more depth at the position. Lewis and Drake would undoubtedly cut into each other's fantasy value, but let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet.

Colts | Indianapolis on Dion Lewis' radar

Mon, 12 Mar 2018 10:39:15 -0700

The Indianapolis Colts are reportedly "in" on New England Patriots impending free-agent RB Dion Lewis, according to NBC Sports Boston's Michael Giardi.

Fantasy Tip: The Colts are expected to be one of several teams chasing Lewis, who should be able to find a better fit somewhere else. Lewis is somewhat similar to Marlon Mack, and Indianapolis still has much work to do along the offensive line if he hopes to achieve the same kind of success he enjoyed when healthy in New England. With the Colts, Lewis would likely top out as a flex option, at least in 2018.

Patriots | Multiple suitors expected for Dion Lewis

Sun, 11 Mar 2018 14:06:00 -0700

New England Patriots impending free-agent RB Dion Lewis is expected to receive interest from the New York Jets, Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts in free agency this week, according to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora, who also mentions the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns and Oakland Raiders as potential suitors.

Fantasy Tip: Of the bunch, the Titans and Buccaneers make the most sense from a need standpoint. Even though Derrick Henry does not have bad hands, Tennessee may want to keep him in an early-down role. Tampa Bay has very little certainty at the position, so Lewis could carve out a lead-back role there. In either location, Lewis should be able to maintain low-end RB2 value in PPR leagues.
