Because PKs Alex Henery and Carey Spear are struggling, it is possible the team could bring in a new kicker. Henery can hit field goals but has no distance on kickoffs, while Spear is just the opposite. Both specialists could be unseated by a free agent signing like PK Rob Bironas (Titans).

Philadelphia Eagles PK Alex Henery finished the 2013 season having converted 82.6 percent of his field-goal attempts, a career low in three seasons in Philadelphia. After three full seasons, Henery has converted just 2-for-5 attempts from 50 yards or beyond. At the end of the game Saturday, Jan. 4, coach Chip Kelly was reluctant to talk about the future of his kicker but admitted his dissatisfaction with how Henery hit kickoffs during the loss. "We'll address that moving forward," Kelly said after Saturday's loss. "We're not playing a game tomorrow."

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said the team will be sticking with PK Alex Henery even though he has made only two of his five field goal attempts this season. "I do have confidence in him," Kelly said. "I know [special teams coordinator Dave Fipp] has confidence in him, I think he's a real accurate kicker. But from a kicking standpoint, I'm pretty confident in him."
