Washington Redskins LB Akeem Jordan (knee) and CB Tracy Porter have been ruled out for Week 2. DE Kedric Golston (groin) is listed as doubtful, PK Kai Forbath (groin), SS Duke Ihenacho (ankle), LB Brian Orakpo (ankle) and OT Tyler Polumbus (ankle) are listed as questionable, while OT Trent Williams (shoulder) is listed as probable. Golston, Jordan and Porter did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 12. Forbath was limited, while the other four players fully participated in practice.

Washington Redskins PKs Kai Forbath and Zach Hocker will continue their competition for the kicker job during the final preseason game. Head coach Jay Gruden said the team can't go wrong with either kicker.

Washington Redskins PKs Kai Forbath and Zach Hocker will compete for the starting job in training camp. Forbath has the early edge because of experience, but the rookie Hocker has done well on field goal attempts so far in offseason practice. Forbath also has spent the offseason working on kickoffs.
Fantasy Tip: The winner of the battle still will be reserved to waiver wire territory.

Washington Redskins PK Kai Forbath (groin) kicked during practice Friday, Sept. 27, to test his injured hamstring, and head coach Mike Shanahan said things went well. Shanahan said he wants to see if Forbath deals with any soreness after his workout Saturday, Sept. 28, before deciding who will kick Week 4.
