The team released CB Crezdon Butler, LB Antonio Coleman, S Blake Gideon, LB Clark Haggans, OG Russ Hochstein, DT Ricky Lumpkin, LB Colin Parker, CB Larry Parker, WR DeMarco Sampson, TE Stephen Skelton, RB Alfonso Smith, LB Quan Sturdivant, DE Ron Talley, DE Everrette Thompson, TE Martell Webb, C Scott Wedige, WR Isaiah Williams and OT D.J. Young.

Cardinals | Two expected to see time at LT Thursday

Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt indicated OTs D.J. Young and D'Anthony Batiste will see time at left tackle in the preseason game Thursday, Aug. 23. Young is expected to start at left tackle but Batiste will see time there at some point.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt said OTs D.J. Young and D'Anthony Batiste will get the first chance to replace OT Levi J. Brown (triceps) at left tackle. OT Nate Potter will also receive reps at left tackle. OT Jeremy Bridges could be used at left tackle if none of the other three are successful at the position. Whisenhunt said he team is not ruling out signing an offensive tackle of trading for one.
