Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman is getting ready to be a dad as he also prepares for the Super Bowl. Sherman said if the baby were to be born on Sunday, Feb. 1, the day of the Super Bowl, he's not sure what he would do. "We'll cross that bridge when we get there. We're not thinking about the possibility."

Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman won't be avoided by the New England Patriots during the Super Bowl, according to Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. "It's not an easy thing to avoid him the whole game. We're going to try not to do that with anybody… I think you need to be sensitive to him and where he's at."

Seattle Seahawks FS Earl Thomas (shoulder) is listed as questionable for the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots. DE Michael Bennett (non-injury), OT Justin Britt (knee), LS Clint Gresham (neck), CB Richard Sherman (elbow) and OG J.R. Sweezy (ankle) are probable. Sweezy did not practice Friday, Jan. 23. Thomas was limited, while the others practiced in full.

Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman (elbow) and FS Earl Thomas (shoulder) will both undergo MRI exams Monday, Jan. 19, after being injured in the NFC Championship game Sunday, Jan. 18. However, both Sherman and Thomas said they will play in the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots. The preliminary diagnosis for Sherman was a sprain, but doctors were concerned he might have a nerve impingement, according to a source.
