Seahawks | Doug Baldwin will play in Week 10

Fri, 07 Nov 2014 14:13:53 -0800

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (groin) practiced in full Friday, Nov. 7, and is probable in Week 10 against the New York Giants.

Fantasy Tip: Baldwin will cost you $5,500 at FantasyScore against the Giants. He's the No.1 receiver on the team, but the Seahawks have been struggling offensively of late. New York presents a good opportunity for them to get back on track, though, so Baldwin isn't a bad choice as a flex option.

Seahawks | Doug Baldwin limited

Thu, 06 Nov 2014 18:55:06 -0800

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (groin) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 6, and could play in the team's Week 10 game Sunday, Nov. 9.

Fantasy Tip: Baldwin is the closest thing to a No. 1 receiver for the Seahawks with Percy Harvin gone, but he has had just one big game in Harvin's absence. There are better options available to owners at FantasyScore in Baldwin's ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) price range.

Seahawks | Russell Wilson impressed with WR speed

Tue, 03 Jun 2014 16:51:09 -0700

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson is impressed with the speed of the team's receiving corps, especially thanks to the addition of WR Paul Richardson, who the team drafted this year. "Yeah, our receivers right now are as fast as it gets. You've got Percy Harvin, Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse is extremely fast too. Then you add Paul Richardson who you saw today went for that deep, deep ball that I threw to him. He's looking exceptional as well. So I think our receiver group is probably one of the faster in the league right now, based on who we have."

Fantasy Tip: Don't be fooled now that Seattle has more wideout depth in 2014; the Seahawks remain a run-first squad. Richardson will have to battle for playing time behind Percy Harvin and Doug Baldwin, and he probably won't have a significant enough role to be worth a draft pick this fall.
