Tennessee Titans WR Derek Hagan is likely to join WRs Kendall Wright and Nate Washington as one of the top-three receivers now that WR Justin Hunter (spleen) is done for the year, starting in Week 14 against the New York Giants. Hagan had been working on special teams and as the team's fourth wideout. He played 32 snaps on offense and caught two passes for 39 yards in Week 13. WR Kris Durham is a young alternative, but the team isn't very high on him, he's not fast, and he's been inactive for 10 games. In the two games Durham was active, he didn't even play a single snap.
Fantasy Tip: Even though the Giants defense is vulnerable in the secondary, Hagan ($3,000) is a desperation play at FantasyScore because of the team's uncertainty at quarterback.

Sat, 30 Aug 2014 10:09:14 -0700
Detroit Lions WR Kris Durham was released Saturday, Aug. 30.
Fantasy Tip: Durham really only had value in deeper leagues and could very well be picked up by another team. It's still probably safe to drop him for now.
Fri, 29 Aug 2014 19:35:57 -0700
Detroit Lions WR Kris Durham is on the bubble to make the 53-man roster along with WRs Ryan Broyles, Corey Fuller and Kevin Ogletree.
Sat, 16 Aug 2014 23:37:47 -0700
The Detroit Lions have a huge competition at the wide receiver spot for a starting role behind WRs Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate. WRs Jeremy Ross, Kris Durham, Ryan Broyles and Corey Fuller are all in contention at this point.
Fri, 15 Aug 2014 17:57:14 -0700
Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (finger) was inactive for the preseason game Friday, Aug. 15, against the Oakland Raiders. WR Kris Durham made the start in his absence.
Tue, 29 Jul 2014 21:44:23 -0700
Detroit Lions WR Kevin Ogletree has been spent time on the top unit each of the first two days of training camp, working as the No. 3 receiver. He is battling WRs Ryan Broyles, Kris Durham, Corey Fuller and Jeremy Ross, among others, for the No. 3 job behind starting WRs Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate. Offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi singled out Ogletree during the spring as a player that impressed him.
Fantasy Tip: If Ogletree was able to work into a No. 3 role, he would still be more of a WR4 or flex play in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams. However, all it would take is one injury to Johnson or Tate for him to see more targets and relevance.
Wed, 16 Jul 2014 10:22:19 -0700
Detroit Lions WRs Kris Durham, Kevin Ogletree and Corey Fuller could compete for one or two roster spots, depending on how many receivers the team decides to keep.

Sun, 29 Dec 2013 08:35:38 -0800
Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (knee) has been declared inactive for the team's Week 17 game.
Fantasy Tip: Kris Durham and Nate Burleson likely will have some fantasy value with Johnson out of the lineup. Both could be flex options for owners this week.
Sat, 07 Dec 2013 09:48:28 -0800
Detroit Lions FS Glover Quin has been fined $7,875 for a late hit he was penalized for in the team's Week 13 game. WR Kris Durham was fined $7,875 for grabbing an opponent's facemask during the game.
Fri, 22 Nov 2013 14:57:25 -0800
Detroit Lions WR Nate Burleson (forearm) is likely to see most of the snaps out of the slot position in Week 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, meaning WRs Jeremy Ross and Kris Durham will see less playing time. Burleson practiced in full pads both Thursday, Nov. 21, and Friday, Nov. 22, and is probable for this weekend.
Wed, 06 Nov 2013 11:23:45 -0800
Detroit Lions WR Nate Burleson (forearm) has returned to practice, but he doesn't sound very optimistic that he'll be back on the field in Week 10 against the Chicago Bears. "I'm not going to sit here and pull an RG3 and talk over what is common sense and that's listen to my coaches and listen to the doctors," Burleson said. "I want to play and that's just me being a competitor. That doesn't mean that my arm is ready to be out there for 60 minutes. I'm going to talk with the coaches, talk with the trainers and talk with the doctors and figure out if this week, next week or the week after is best for me." Burleson did positional drills and wore a Kevlar brace over his arm in practice Tuesday, Nov. 5. He has most of the grip strength back in his left hand.
Fantasy Tip: If we had to guess, we'd think Detroit plays it safe and holds Burleson out for another week. When he returns, he'll be the No. 2 wideout opposite Calvin Johnson, which will limit Kris Durham's value for the rest of the year.
Tue, 05 Nov 2013 10:00:45 -0800
Detroit Lions WR Nate Burleson (forearm) returned to practice Tuesday, Nov. 5, but it's not a guarantee that he'll return to play in Week 10 against the Chicago Bears. "I'd caution reading too much (into) him being out there and being back," head coach Jim Schwartz said. "But he is progressing well and everyone is pleased with his progression. We all know how tough a guy Nate is. If it was up to him, he probably would have missed one game, but there's only so much that you can do with healing bones and stuff."
Fantasy Tip: How much Burleson accomplishes in practice this week will determine if he can return to play this weekend. Expect Detroit to stay on the cautious side, however. Burleson is probably available on most waiver wires if you're looking to add WR depth in the coming weeks. Kris Durham's role will suffer when Burleson is back.
Mon, 28 Oct 2013 10:23:17 -0700
Detroit Lions WR Ryan Broyles (Achilles') suffered a ruptured Achilles' tendon in the team's Week 8 game and will miss the rest of the season. He is scheduled to undergo surgery Tuesday, Oct. 29, to repair the injury.
Fantasy Tip: With Broyles out, Kris Durham likely will get a bigger role in the passing game moving forward. Durham should be added in all deeper leagues.
Sun, 13 Oct 2013 20:03:09 -0700
Detroit Lions WR Kris Durham had a career-high eight receptions for 83 yards in the Week 6 game against the Cleveland Browns. "I'm definitely getting a rhythm," Durham said Sunday, Oct. 13. "I've been working a lot more with (QB Matthew Stafford) the last couple of weeks, so I am starting to get more of a rhythm with him." Stafford said Durham was targeted 13 times because the receiver was "winning his matchups."
Fantasy Tip: Durham is worth a look as a WR4 or flex fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams going forward.
Fri, 11 Oct 2013 11:25:28 -0700
Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (knee) was limited in practice for the second straight day Friday, Oct. 11, and he practiced without wearing a knee brace. However, he struggled when he had to cut in his routes and will be a game-time decision in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns.
Fantasy Tip: Megatron clearly isn't 100 percent and won't be even if he plays Sunday, but if he's on the field, you should have him in your lineup. The fact that he's practicing without the knee brace is a good sign. Check back Sunday morning to see if he plays. If he doesn't, Kris Durham, Ryan Broyles and Patrick Edwards will try to pick up the slack in the passing game. It'll be a crapshoot to rely on any of those three.
Mon, 07 Oct 2013 10:32:55 -0700
Detroit Lions WR Ryan Broyles had just two catches for 27 yards on two targets in the team's Week 5 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Broyles ran only 15 routes compared to 46 for WR Kris Durham and 41 for WR Patrick Edwards.
Fantasy Tip: Many believed Broyles' production would soar with Calvin Johnson (knee) sitting out, but that wasn't the case at all. Durham, Edwards and even Kevin Ogletree were looked to more often than Broyles. This suggests they are still easing Broyles into his role. Until we see more from him, he's better off riding pine on your bench.
Sun, 06 Oct 2013 17:09:43 -0700
Detroit Lions WR Kris Durham (thumb) aggravated a right thumb injury in the Week 5 game against the Green Bay Packers, and he had a heavy ice pack on the thumb after the game. Durham said the thumb is a pre-existing injury and he is not concerned.
Sun, 06 Oct 2013 08:30:05 -0700
Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (knee) has been declared inactive for Week 5.
Fantasy Tip: With Johnson out, Ryan Broyles and Patrick Edwards likely will start at wide receiver with Kris Durham seeing more playing time. Broyles can be a starting option for owners this week, but Edwards and Durahm probably are nothing more than weak flex options in most leagues. Reggie Bush could become more involved in the passing game because of Johnson's injury.
Tue, 01 Oct 2013 16:52:59 -0700
Detroit Lions WR Kris Durham played in 92 percent of the team's 66 offensive snaps in Week 4 win over the Chicago Bears and scored his first touchdown of the season with WRs Patrick Edwards (ankle) and Nate Burleson (forearm) out. Durham played two snaps less than WR Calvin Johnson and 20 more than WR Ryan Broyles. Durham finished with three catches for 58 yards, a career high for him. "It gives me some confidence," Durham said. "I think it gives Matthew some confidence in me. I was in the right place at the right time and made good throws, good catches."
Fantasy Tip: Durham has short-term sleeper value with Burleson out if Edwards misses another game this week. The matchup against the Green Bay Packers is intriguing, too, especially if Broyles isn't exactly 100 percent up to speed.
Tue, 17 Sep 2013 19:21:49 -0700
Detroit Lions WR Kris Durham was in for 38 snaps against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2. He was targeted twice, and had no receptions. He was seeing more time on the field with WR Patrick Edwards (ankle) sidelined.
Fantasy Tip: Durham might see the same amount of time, or even a little more action, in Week 3 if Edwards cannot play. However, he appears a ways off from making a splash in fantasy football.
Fri, 26 Jul 2013 11:49:41 -0700
The Detroit Lions have 13 wide receivers on their roster heading into training camp, and they're looking for depth in case injuries strike again at the position. The favorite for the No. 4 job behind WRs Calvin Johnson, Ryan Broyles and Nate Burleson has been WR Patrick Edwards. He is a bit undersized at 5-foot-9, 175 pounds, but impressed during offseason workouts. It appears he and newcomer WR Chaz Schilens will jockey for the No. 4 job, and WRs Kris Durham, Corey Fuller and Michael Spurlock also could factor in.
Mon, 15 Apr 2013 12:49:06 -0700
Detroit Lions exclusive rights free-agent RB Joique Bell, FB Shaun Chapas, WR Kris Durham and SS Ricardo Silva have signed their one-year tender offers. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Tue, 18 Dec 2012 14:16:51 -0800
Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz said the Arizona Cardinals used double coverage on WR Calvin Johnson on almost every play and had several defenders on him at the line of scrimmage on several occasions. "Early in the season, we were facing defenses that were more prevent-type defenses, where they were just trying to prevent a big play," Schwartz said. "(They) had respect for a lot of other players. This game, they took the approach of saying, 'If Calvin can't make the play, then we're going to challenge all the rest of the guys.'" WRs Nate Burleson (knee), Ryan Broyles (knee) and Titus Young and TE Brandon Pettigrew (ankle) all were not active last week. WRs Kris Durham and Brian Robiskie and TEs Tony Scheffler and Will Heller had a combined seven catches for only 77 yards. The Atlanta Falcons are expected to employ similar tactics as the Cardinals in order to try to take Johnson out of the game in Week 16. Johnson still managed 10 catches for 121 yards against Arizona.
Mon, 10 Dec 2012 10:26:53 -0800
Detroit Lions WR Kris Durham participated in 78 of the 84 offensive snaps in the team's Week 14 game.
Mon, 10 Dec 2012 01:34:51 -0800
Detroit Lions WR Kris Durham was targeted nine times during the team's Week 14 loss to the Green Bay Packers. He caught four passes for 54 yards during the game, including a great diving grab in the second quarter. Durham and QB Matthew Stafford have history, as the two roomed together at the University of Georgia. Durham has been living with Stafford since signing with the Lions earlier this fall. During the team's Week 14 game, Stafford was expecting Durham to run a different route than he did which led to an interception. The two simply weren't on the same page, which they both accepted blame for.
Tue, 04 Dec 2012 16:39:14 -0800
