Redskins | Two Redskins working with a legend

Thu, 13 Jul 2017 10:14:42 -0700

Washington Redskins WRs Terrelle Pryor and Jamison Crowder have been working out with former NFL WR Randy Moss.

Fantasy Tip: Working out with the likes of Moss can only be beneficial to a wide receiver. Pryor and Crowder will be Washington's top two receivers this year with DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon gone. Pryor is an ideal WR2 target, while Crowder has WR2 appeal in PPR leagues in one of the most pass happy offenses in the NFL.

Redskins | Jamison Crowder to lead team in targets?

Tue, 27 Jun 2017 09:17:28 -0700

Washington Redskins WR Jamison Crowder will "definitely" get targeted more often than Terrelle Pryor, according to CSN Mid-Atlantic's Rich Tandler.

Fantasy Tip: Head coach Jay Gruden has talked up Crowder for the better part of the offseason. Earlier this month, Gruden said he would use the slot receiver in two-wide sets this season, so his start is most definitely pointing up. While Pryor may lead the team in receiving yards because he will run deeper routes, it appears Crowder will be the wideout Kirk Cousins will lean on the most, making him a potential dark-horse WR2 option in PPR leagues.

Redskins | Terrelle Pryor reaching out to NFL greats

Sat, 24 Jun 2017 10:08:16 -0700

Washington Redskins WR Terrelle Pryor is working out "at various points in the summer" with Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown and seeks out the counsel of former NFL receiver Randy Moss on a regular basis, according to ESPN's John Keim.

Fantasy Tip: Away from the quarterback turnstile in Cleveland, Pryor is poised to take the next step in his evolution as a receiver after finishing with 77 catches for 1007 yards and four touchdowns in his first full year at the position in 2016. Even though he will have to fight with Jordan Reed and Jamison Crowder for targets, he should be considered a low-end WR2 at worst.

Redskins | Big season coming for Terrelle Pryor?

Thu, 08 Jun 2017 19:43:01 -0700

Washington Redskins WR Terrelle Pryor has a chance to reach 1,500 receiving yards as the go-to target for QB Kirk Cousins, according to NFL.com analyst Gil Brandt.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor certainly has the athleticism to be a dominant receiver, and he should have plenty of chances to make plays with Cousins likely to throw early and often. Consider him a high-upside WR2.

Redskins | Kirk Cousins thrilled with Terrelle Pryor

Mon, 29 May 2017 12:32:22 -0700

Washington Redskins WR Terrelle Pryor is already impressing QB Kirk Cousins in his first offseason with the Redskins. Specifically, Cousins has been impressed with Pryor's knowledge of the game, work ethic and positive attitude. "I'm really looking forward to trying to get him as many touches as possible and allow him to impact our team in any way he can."

Fantasy Tip: As many touches as possible sure jumps out at you, but take it with a grain of salt. The targets will definitely be there for Pryor, though, as Washington lost DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon. Pryor immediately takes over the No. 1 receiver spot. With Cousins throwing the ball, there is WR1 upside for Pryor in D.C., but he's best drafted as a WR2.

Washington Redskins WR Terrelle Pryor said he is spending as much time as possible with QB Kirk Cousins in order to build trust, and head coach Jay Gruden said the relationship between Pryor and Cousins off the field in translating to success on the field.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor managed to top 1,000 yards for the Browns last year, and he should be one of the main weapons in Washington's passing attack. He offers a lot of potential as a WR3.

Sat, 27 May 2017 18:22:18 -0700

Washington Redskins WR Terrelle Pryor said the offense was a little sloppy when OTAs began but is improving thanks to a total team effort. "We're getting better, and we're a long ways away, but I think tomorrow is going to be a brighter day."

Fantasy Tip: After the departures of Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson over the offseason, Pryor could find himself as the go-to weapon for Kirk Cousins. He is well worth a look as a WR3.

Redskins | Kirk Cousins working on timing

Fri, 26 May 2017 21:11:44 -0700

Washington Redskins QB Kirk Cousins is still adjusting to throwing jumps ball and back-shoulder fades to WR Terrelle Pryor, according to head coach Jay Gruden.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor has elite size and athleticism, and he made a surprisingly quick transition to receiver last year. He could be Cousins' go-to target this season, and Pryor should be drafted as a high-upside WR3.

Redskins | Terrelle Pryor works out with Kirk Cousins

Sat, 15 Apr 2017 12:34:52 -0700

Washington Redskins WR Terrelle Pryor recently worked out with QB Kirk Cousins in order to work on their timing on the field. Pryor said Cousins also helped him learn the playbook during a meeting they had before working out.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor will be a starter for the Redskins next season and could be the No. 1 receiver depending on who is on the roster. He posted 1,007 yards and four touchdowns in 2016 and could see more targets with Cousins as his quarterback. He can be considered a No. 3 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

Washington Redskins WR Terrelle Pryor has made plans to practice with Redskins QB Kirk Cousins and wide receivers in late April, Pryor said during his introductory press conference Monday, March 13.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor has a wealth of upside in this offense and intends to get to work early. This is nothing but good news for fantasy gamers, who should look to him as a WR2.

Redskins | Terrelle Pryor finds new home in D.C.

Fri, 10 Mar 2017 12:57:59 -0800

Free-agent WR Terrelle Pryor (Browns) agreed to terms on a one-year, $8 million contract with the Washington Redskins on Friday, March 10.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor immediately moves to the head of the line in Washington's receiving corps and helps the Redskins bounce back from losing Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson on the first day of free agency. Even a disgruntled Kirk Cousins represents a huge upgrade over the parade of different quarterbacks Cleveland marched out last season. Pryor could approach low-end WR1 status in fantasy in 2017.

Redskins | Washington to meet with Terrelle Pryor

Thu, 09 Mar 2017 13:35:32 -0800

Free-agent WR Terrelle Pryor (Browns) is scheduled to visit with the Washington Redskins in the near future.

Fantasy Tip: The Redskins have lost DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon this offseason, so Pryor could be the team's No. 1 receiver if he joins the Redskins. Pryor should be a starter no matter where he signs and should be a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Steelers | Steelers not interested in Terrelle Pryor

Mon, 06 Mar 2017 22:53:46 -0800

Updating a previous report, the Pittsburgh Steelers are actually not interested in signing Cleveland Browns impending free-agent WR Terrelle Pryor due to the fact he would likely cost more than $10 million annually.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor might not be able to draw that kind of money from the Steelers, but after registering 77 catches for 1,007 yards and four touchdowns in his first year as a receiver this past season, he can probably garner the amount he desires elsewhere. Depending on where he lands, the 27-year-old figures to enter the next campaign with WR2 potential, especially after dazzling on a Cleveland team that featured poor quarterback play in 2016.

Steelers | Pittsburgh may pursue Terrelle Pryor

Mon, 06 Mar 2017 15:27:45 -0800

Cleveland Browns impending free-agent WR Terrelle Pryor is receiving interest from the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to sources.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor will be one of the more popular players available if he hits the free-agent market and probably will be too expensive for the Steelers to sign. Pryor likely will be a starting receiver no matter where he signs and should be at least a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Browns | Many teams eyeing Terrelle Pryor

Mon, 06 Mar 2017 11:54:03 -0800

Cleveland Browns impending free-agent WR Terrelle Pryor has drawn interest from the New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers, Tennessee Titans and Philadelphia Eagles, according to sources. Other teams are expected to show interest, too. Pryor is an offseason priority for the Browns, but both sides are far apart in negotiations, according to The Cleveland Plain-Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor will be one of the most coveted, and possibly the most coveted, free-agent wide receivers this year. He has already proven he can produce solid numbers no matter who is throwing the ball to him after a couple of years with the Browns already. His fantasy value will almost assuredly increase if he's playing in a different uniform. He's firmly in WR2 territory heading into 2017.

Sun, 05 Mar 2017 19:33:19 -0800

Cleveland Browns impending free-agent WR Terrelle Pryor is expected to land a deal worth $10-$12 million per year, according to multiple sources.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor is a gifted athlete, and he emerged as Cleveland best receiver last year. As long as he lands with a receiver-needy team, he should land in the WR2 range in 2017.

Browns | Terrelle Pryor done in Cleveland?

Sat, 04 Mar 2017 10:52:25 -0800

Impending free-agent WR Terrelle Pryor (Browns) will reportedly test the free-agent market after extension talks with the Cleveland Browns stalled in recent days.

Fantasy Tip: If Pryor hits the market, he will vie with Alshon Jeffery as the most sought-after receiver available in free agency. The Philadelphia Eagles, Tennessee Titans and Los Angeles Rams figure to be among the most interested suitors, and all three teams would allow him to continue working at the same WR2 level he reached last year in fantasy, if not flirt with WR1 status.

Browns | Terrelle Pryor still a priority for Browns

Wed, 01 Mar 2017 10:51:54 -0800

Cleveland Browns impending free-agent WR Terrelle Pryor is a priority for the Browns this offseason, but executive vice president Sashi Brown said the team will not panic if he is not on their roster. The Browns are expected to talk with Pryor's representatives at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor would be one of the better receivers available if he hits the free-agent market, but the Browns still have about a week to work on a deal with him. He recorded 1,007 yards and four touchdowns in 2016 and probably will be a starter no matter where he plays next season. Pryor probably should be considered a No. 3 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

Mon, 27 Feb 2017 12:31:35 -0800

Cleveland Browns impending free-agent WR Terrelle Pryor is not expected to be given the franchise tag before the franchise tag deadline Wednesday, March 1. The Browns are hoping to sign Pryor to a long-term contract before free agency begins. Pryor has already said he would like to stay with the Browns.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor was one of the few bright spots for the Browns last year, pacing the team with 77 catches, 1,007 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns. His age, size and athleticism, not to mention his running ability, make him one of the better young receivers in the NFL. Pryor is a WR2 option heading into 2017 fantasy drafts.

Browns | Terrelle Pryor may get transition tag

Fri, 24 Feb 2017 16:09:31 -0800

Cleveland Browns impending free-agent WR Terrelle Pryor could receive the transition tag this offseason. The two sides are trying to work out a long-term deal, but the team has not given Pryor an indication on what they will decide.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor wants to stay with the Browns, so there is a good chance he will sign a new deal with the team. He played well in 2016 but did have to play with multiple quarterbacks during the season because of injuries. Pryor will be the No. 1 receiver for the Browns next season and could be a No. 3 fantasy receiver depending on the Browns' quarterback situation.

Bills | Terrelle Pryor an option for Bills?

Fri, 24 Feb 2017 06:57:34 -0800

Cleveland Browns impending free-agent WR Terrelle Pryor could be atop the Buffalo Bills' wish list in free agency.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor has shown a willingness to re-sign with the Browns after a 77-1,007-4 season. Pryor is a low-end WR3 but would have a higher ceiling with an established quarterback.

Browns | CLE may not tag Terrelle Pryor

Sat, 18 Feb 2017 14:25:37 -0800

The Cleveland Browns do not plan on placing the franchise tag on impending free-agent WR Terrelle Pryor, according to a source. The team would still like to sign Pryor to a long-term deal.

Fantasy Tip: The Browns have a lot of salary cap space available, so they should be able to give Pryor a lucrative contract this offseason. Pryor has posted solid numbers over the last two season and can be considered a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues next season.

Browns | Terrelle Pryor wants to re-sign in Cleveland

Wed, 15 Feb 2017 22:10:33 -0800

Cleveland Browns impending free-agent WR Terrelle Pryor has instructed his agents, Drew and Jason Rosenhaus, of his desire to remain in Cleveland. The agents will travel to Cleveland this week to conduct "strong discussions" about a new contract. Pryor stated his desire to continue the rebuilding process in Cleveland under head coach Hue Jackson.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor has all the potential in the world, and he played well through a messy quarterback situation -- even with a broken hand. While the signal-caller situation may be a little unsettling at this point, Pryor is blossoming as a wideout and can make up for deficiencies in the nuances with raw athleticism. He is a quality WR2 gamble in fantasy drafts should the Browns re-up the former quarterback.

Browns | Cleveland to talk with Terrelle Pryor

Mon, 13 Feb 2017 15:34:21 -0800

The Cleveland Browns are scheduled to talk with the agent for impending free-agent WR Terrelle Pryor this week.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor is one of the better receivers that will be a free agent this offseason, but the Browns could place the franchise tag on Pryor if they are not able to reach a long-term agreement with him. He could be a No. 3 receiver for fantasy owners depending on the Browns quarterback situation.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor broke out with a 77-1,007-4 season, but there are questions as to whether he can duplicate them. A lot will depend on what the Browns do in free agency and the draft. Pryor will be a risky WR3 option in next year's drafts.

Fri, 30 Dec 2016 14:19:30 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Terrelle Pryor (finger) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 30, and is not on the injury report for Week 17.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor has been a disappointing option for owners over the last several weeks and does not appear to have a good connection with Robert Griffin III. Owners in most leagues should be able to find better options for their lineups and can avoid Pryor.

Browns | Terrelle Pryor practices in full

Wed, 28 Dec 2016 13:48:06 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Terrelle Pryor (finger) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor has been able to play despite the injury but he has been held to 36 yards or less in each of the last three games. The team's starting quarterback will be a factor in Pryor's value. Pryor can be avoided in leagues if Robert Griffin III starts, but can be a low-end No. 3 receiver or a flex option if Cody Kessler receives the start.

Browns | Terrelle Pryor upgraded to full at practice

Fri, 23 Dec 2016 12:27:55 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Terrelle Pryor (finger) got in a full practice Friday, Dec. 23, after being a limited participant in each of the prior two days.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor has been terrible for owners lately at the most important time of the fantasy campaign, but considering how reliable he was previously, it's hard to bench him for a matchup that could yield a lot of points. One must also consider that with the Browns likely to fall behind early, as usual, they could be airing it out often, which may lead to more targets for the former Raider. Consider him as a WR3.

Browns | Terrelle Pryor limited again

Thu, 22 Dec 2016 12:22:12 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Terrelle Pryor (finger) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 22.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor has struggled to find chemistry with Robert Griffin III and has only 22 yards in the last two games. He should not be more than a low-end No. 3 receiver and flex option in deeper leagues and could be benched if owners have better options.

Browns | HC believes in Terrelle Pryor

Wed, 21 Dec 2016 20:39:04 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Terrelle Pryor is a building block for the future despite a drop in production recently, head coach Hue Jackson said Wednesday, Dec. 21. However, not everyone in the organization feels the same way. However, Jackson likes Pryor. "You guys know I have a tremendous amount of confidence in Terrelle. I think he is only going to get better as he moves forward. Terrelle is like most guys. He wants it all. He wants to be the best at what he does," Jackson said.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor leads the 0-14 Browns with 67 catches, 877 yards and four touchdowns in his first full season as a receiver. He has tailed off in recent games, failing to jell with Robert Griffin III. Treat him more as a WR4 as he plays through a finger injury down the stretch.

Browns | Terrelle Pryor listed as limited

Wed, 21 Dec 2016 13:13:30 -0800

Fantasy Tip: Pryor is expected to play despite the injury, but it is not known if the injury will affect his ability to catch the ball. He has been limited to 22 yards combined in the last two games and has not posted great numbers with Robert Griffin III as the quarterback. Owners probably should avoid Pryor and look for other options.

Browns | Terrelle Pryor will have surgery

Tue, 20 Dec 2016 12:34:25 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Terrelle Pryor (finger) will play through his finger injury and undergo surgery in the offseason.

Fantasy Tip: Needless to say, a finger injury can hinder a wide receiver's performance. The finger combined with less than stellar quarterback play makes Pryor a risky proposition for those remaining in the fantasy playoffs.

Browns | Terrelle Pryor practices Tuesday

Cleveland Browns WR Terrelle Pryor (finger) reportedly looked good and caught everything thrown to him during the 30-minute portion of practice open to the media Tuesday, Dec. 20.

Fantasy Tip: While it bodes well for his ability to play on Christmas Eve against the San Diego Chargers, he has not performed well since Robert Griffin III took over as the starter. The Chargers have held up well against opposing receivers as well this season, making Pryor a risky start and probably nothing more than a middling flex play in Week 16.

Sat, 10 Dec 2016 17:18:17 -0800

Fantasy Tip: Defensive backs have been trash talking Pryor lately, and he has responded with 228 yards in his last two games combined. Cincinnati shut him down in their first meeting, but Pryor is still a high-upside WR3 in Week 14.

Cleveland Browns WR Terrelle Pryor racked up six receptions for 131 yards in the Week 12 game against the New York Giants. He was targeted 12 times.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor has exceled this season despite the fact the Browns have lost all 12 of their games. He is a legit WR2 in most fantasy formats, although you'll need to make alternate plans in Week 13 with the Browns on a bye.

Sun, 20 Nov 2016 14:13:03 -0800

Fantasy Tip: Pryor was bothered by his hamstring last week, too, but still ended up playing, and playing well. He may not see as many targets going forward with Corey Coleman back in the mix, but he remains a WR2 as far as the rest of the season is concerned. He should be started this week, assuming he plays, against a Baltimore Ravens defense that has yielded 14 touchdowns to wide receivers this year -- most in the NFL.

Cleveland Browns WR Terrelle Pryor caught five passes for 47 yards and one touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor has been the team's top receiver this season and has caught at least five passes in six of the last seven games. He will continue to receive a lot of targets and should be a solid No. 3 receiver in most fantasy leagues.
