Baltimore Orioles SP Dylan Bundy (elbow) was diagnosed with a partial tear in his elbow, and he will undergo Tommy John surgery. Bundy will undergo the elbow reconstruction Thursday, June 27, in Florida.
Fantasy Tip: You can drop Bundy now in any format that you were stashing him. This is a big blow to Bundy owners in keeper formats, too, as he'll miss most of next season, too. He may return late next year, but it's doubtful that he'll be an option in Baltimore.

Updating a previous report, Baltimore Orioles SP Dylan Bundy (forearm) is expected to hear that he needs Tommy John surgery, according to sources. Bundy is visiting Dr. James Andrews for a second opinion on Wednesday, June 26.
Fantasy Tip: This was the fear, as mentioned earlier. It sounds like a formality, but let's wait for official word. The good news for those in keeper leagues is that TJS has come a long way, and the right-hander is only 20 years old. In a couple of years, he may be right back on track.

Baltimore Orioles SP Dylan Bundy (forearm) is scheduled to visit Dr. James Andrews on Wednesday, June 26, in Gulf Breeze, Fla. The team may provide an update on the pitcher's status later in the day. Bundy is seeking a second opinion after his examination by team orthopedist Dr. John Wilckens. This is Bundy's second visit to Andrews this season, after the renowned orthopedist cleared the right-hander on June 10 to begin a throwing program.
Fantasy Tip: Still no word on the findings of the initial exam, but a follow-up may suggest that Bundy wasn't happy with what he heard. Hopefully, this isn't a major setback, but it doesn't have a good feeling to it.

Fantasy Tip: This is not what the O's wanted to see after Bundy recently resumed a throwing program. It's not looking good for Bundy's chances to pitch in the major leagues again this season. Stay updated on his diagnosis from a specialist. Surgery probably can't be ruled out at this point.
