Houston Astros OF George Springer (quadriceps) was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a left quadriceps strain. In a corresponding move, 1B/OF Marc Krauss was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Fantasy Tip: It's retroactive to Sunday, July 20, but this could be a slow recovery and potentially affect his SB potential when he gets back. This cements AL-only asset Enrique Hernandez in center field. Deep mixed leaguers can give Robbie Grossman a try if they can only find an alternative via Houston. Krauss has some pop, and Hernandez has risen through the farm ranks the last few years, but neither is a recommended grab in mixed games.

Fantasy Tip: Slumps are part of the game, especially for a player as young as Springer who is receiving his first taste of major league action this year. We have a feeling that he'll be alright, though.
