Patriots | Chris Hogan traveling with team

Sun, 10 Dec 2017 09:05:21 -0800

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) is traveling with the team for their Week 14 game against the Miami Dolphins, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: Hogan appears to be on track to play against the Dolphins, but owners will need to check the inactive list for his official status. He could see more targets than usual with Rob Gronkowski out of the lineup. Owners in most leagues could consider Hogan as a No. 3 fantasy receiver.

Patriots | Chris Hogan makes surprise return

Wed, 06 Dec 2017 10:55:49 -0800

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan (shoulder) was spotted at practice Wednesday, Dec. 6 - his first known team activity since suffering a shoulder injury in Week 8.

Fantasy Tip: The Patriots do not have to file an official injury report until Thursday because they play on Monday night in Week 14, but this is encouraging news regardless. New England could certainly hold him out with the expectation it should be able to beat the Miami Dolphins without him and save him for Week 15 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but Rob Gronkowski's one-game suspension figures to eliminate that possibility. If Hogan plays, he should be considered a high-upside WR3 considering the lengthy absence.
