The Buffalo Bills might keep six wide receivers on their 53-man roster. WRs Stevie Johnson, Robert Woods, T.J. Graham and Marquise Goodwin are believed to be locks for the top four spots. That leaves WR Da'Rick Rogers battling QB/WR Brad Smith for the fifth receiver job, and WR Chris Hogan is also in the mix for that sixth spot.

Buffalo Bills WR Chris Hogan is hopeful of landing a job with the team, and the absence of WR Stevie Johnson (hamstring) due to a sore hamstring has given Hogan and other receivers more reps to show what they can do. Hogan saw reps with the first-team offense in the preseason opener Sunday, Aug. 11, against the Indianapolis Colts, catching two passes. "I'm thrilled and excited that the coaches think I can get that chance," Hogan said Wednesday, Aug. 14. "It's a good opportunity for me to get those reps with that first team and go against first-team defense and put some good stuff on film and prove to the coaches I can compete with those guys and do well in the slot."
Fantasy Tip: Hogan played just one year of college football, and his biggest claim to fame is being on the television show Hard Knocks with the Miami Dolphins last season. He has reportedly run good routes, and if the team keeps six receivers, Hogan has a chance. However, for fantasy purposes, he is mostly a non-factor.
