|BK Racing | Cole Whitt joins three-man team|
Wed, 23 Apr 2014 19:36:15 -0700
Swan Racing shed both its Sprint Cup Series cars Wednesday, April 23, due to lack of funds. One of its two cars will move to BK Racing, where former Swan minority partner Anthony Marlowe will be listed as owner. The No. 26 car will be driven by Cole Whitt, joining new teammates Alex Bowman of the No. 23, and Ryan Truex of the No. 83 car.
Fantasy Tip: Whitt ranks 33rd in the standings, posting no wins, Top 5s or Top 10s in eight starts so far this season. For fantasy purposes, he is usually only a thought in salary cap formats when trying to squeeze in a low-priced option to afford higher priced stars at your other spots.

Stewart-Haas Racing driver Danica Patrick has expressed interest in a limited Nationwide Series schedule for JR Motorsports next season as she moves to a full time gig in the Sprint Cup Series with SHR. Patrick would likely split time in a car with driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. if a deal can be reached. Driver Cole Whitt will drive the No. 88 car full time in the Nationwide Series.
