Falcons | Mohamed Sanu does not practice

Wed, 28 Sep 2016 13:14:02 -0700

Atlanta Falcons WR Mohamed Sanu (shoulder) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Fantasy Tip: Sanu suffered the injury in the last game, so owners should see if he will be able to practice later in the week. He has not been as productive as he was in Week 1 but will still have a role in the passing game. Sanu could be a flex option if he is able to play but could also be benched if owners have better options.

Falcons | Mohamed Sanu expected to play Week 4

Tue, 27 Sep 2016 10:55:05 -0700

Atlanta Falcons WR Mohamed Sanu (shoulder) is likely to play in Week 4 versus the Carolina Panthers after a shoulder injury kept him out of the second half in the team's Week 3 win over the New Orleans Saints.

Fantasy Tip: Sanu has performed at about the level most owners expected so far, recording 11 catches for 130 yards and a touchdown. With Atlanta's next three games against the Carolina Panthers, the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks, however, he'll be hard-pressed to be anything more than a low-end WR4.

Falcons | Mohamed Sanu unable to return

Mon, 26 Sep 2016 21:18:31 -0700

Updating a previous report, Atlanta Falcons WR Mohamed Sanu (shoulder) suffered a shoulder injury in the Week 3 game against the New Orleans Saints Monday, Sept. 26. Head coach Dan Quinn said Sanu tried to return but was unable to do so.

Fantasy Tip: Sanu can be a tremendous receiver opposite Julio Jones, but he needs to stay healthy. That has been a problem for him this season. Reserve him until he can officially practice in full and make his return to the starting lineup.

Mon, 26 Sep 2016 19:17:41 -0700

Atlanta Falcons WR Mohamed Sanu (shoulder) suffered a shoulder injury in the second quarter in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints and he is questionable to return.

Fantasy Tip: Sanu is a strong WR3 when he is healthy, but he has had difficulty staying healthy so far this season. He is a gifted athlete and talented replacement for Roddy White if he can stay on the field.

Falcons | Limited practice for Mohamed Sanu

Wed, 14 Sep 2016 09:56:45 -0700

Atlanta Falcons WR Mohamed Sanu (ankle) was limited in practice Wednesday, Sept. 14, according to head coach Dan Quinn. Quinn noted Sanu is expected to be a larger participant in practice Thursday, Sept. 15, though.

Fantasy Tip: Sanu secured five of eight targets for 80 yards and a score in Week 1, and he led the Falcons receivers in offensive snaps (56 of 65). He projects to see a healthy target share in the offense and checks out as a potential low-end starter in deep leagues with more long-term value in PPR setups.

Falcons | Mohamed Sanu limping after game

Sun, 11 Sep 2016 17:37:19 -0700

Atlanta Falcons WR Mohamed Sanu (ankle) tweaked an ankle in the Week 1 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he was seen limping heavily in the locker room after the game.

Fantasy Tip: Sanu managed 80 yards and a touchdown on five receptions, and he was tied for a team-high in targets with eight. The move to Atlanta appears to have paid huge dividends for Sanu. As long as he isn't forced to miss time, he looks like a legitimate WR3 in most fantasy leagues, filling the void of the departed Roddy White well through his first game.
