Bears | Alshon Jeffery still in long-term plans

Mon, 14 Nov 2016 19:01:17 -0800

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery is still in the long-term plans of the team despite a four-game suspension for performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs). The team is unlikely to be dissuaded from signing him to a long-term deal, or applying the franchise tag for a second consecutive year, according to beat writer Jeff Dickerson.

Fantasy Tip: When active Jeffery is a low-end WR1 or top-end WR2 in most fantasy formats, but he will be sidelined until Week 15. With Jeffery on the shelf it will be Cameron Meredith and Eddie Royal attempting to fill the void.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery suspended four games for PEDs

Mon, 14 Nov 2016 12:21:11 -0800

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery was suspended four games Monday, Nov. 14, for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.

Fantasy Tip: Not only will this keep Jeffrey out of action until Week 15, but it doesn't figure to help the impending free agent with his next contract either. The oft-injured Eddie Royal figures to move into a leading role in his absence given his well-documented connection with Jay Cutler, although the suspension should also mean Cameron Meredith will return to fantasy relevancy for the first time since Brian Hoyer went down. Royal and Meredith can each make strong cases to be legitimate fantasy WR3s down the stretch.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery gets into end zone

Mon, 31 Oct 2016 21:33:23 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery posted four receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown in the Week 8 game against the Minnesota Vikings. He was targeted eight times.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery visited the end zone for the first time this season. He has at least three receptions in each of his eight games this season, and hopefully the trips to the end zone start picking up more frequently for fantasy owners. The Bears are off in Week 9.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery likely to get shadowed

Sat, 29 Oct 2016 11:55:37 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery will likely draw Minnesota Vikings CB Xavier Rhodes for the bulk of their Week 8 matchup Monday, Oct. 29.

Fantasy Tip: Even the return of Jay Cutler doesn't figure to change Jeffery's immediate fortunes, as Rhodes has successfully shadowed receivers such as Odell Beckham Jr. and DeAndre Hopkins all season long. Following a bye in Week 9, Jeffery should find the going a bit easier in Week 10 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Bears | Bigger role for Alshon Jeffery?

Fri, 28 Oct 2016 20:44:44 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery said he expects to be on the same page as QB Jay Cutler against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8, and Cutler said he wants to try to involve Jeffery in the offense more during the second half of the year.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery's overall value should see a boost with Cutler back under center, but he is no more than a WR3 against a Minnesota secondary that has allowed just four passing touchdowns and the fewest passing yards.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery bottled up again

Thu, 20 Oct 2016 21:50:51 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery tallied three catches for 33 scoreless yards on 11 targets in a Week 7 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Tip: Owners were probably hoping for something approaching his final line last week (seven catches for 93 yards) against a decimated Packers' secondary, but Brian Hoyer and Matt Barkley combined for only 120 yards and 10 completions on 26 attempts. If there is one bright spot, it might be that Jeffery has amassed 24 targets over the last two weeks (seven fewer than his total through the first five games). Things aren't going to get any better with Matt Barkley as his quarterback and the Minnesota Vikings on deck next week, so consider him a low-upside WR2 for that matchup.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery finishes with 93 yards

Sun, 16 Oct 2016 15:14:47 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery caught nine passes for 93 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery has been a reliable receiver for the Bears no matter who the quarterback has been this season. Owners should consider Jeffery a solid No. 1 fantasy receiver.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery in uniform

Sun, 16 Oct 2016 09:52:48 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) is officially active for the team's Week 6 game.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery will continue to be the No. 1 receiver for the Bears but will be looking to improve his stats. He can be a No. 1 or No. 2 receiver for owners in a majority of the leagues.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery may not be fed more targets

Sat, 15 Oct 2016 09:47:37 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery ranks 15th in the NFL in receiving yards per game (78.8), but he is tied for 48th with only 31 targets. The latter part of that statement doesn't appear to be a problem for head coach John Fox, who disputed the notion his offense needs to get Jeffery the ball more often despite seeing a fair amount of double teams. "I think he has been what I would consider - I think our opponents do too - pretty productive. From a production standpoint, to say that we're not getting him the ball is a little bit off," Fox said.

Fantasy Tip: Fox pointed to the fact that Jeffery (22 catches) only trails Eddie Royal and Zach Miller (25 apiece) by three receptions to support his argument, but most successful NFL offenses don't operate on the principle that a slot receiver and tight end produce more than the top receiver. Until that changes and/or Brian Hoyer shows a bit more trust in him, Jeffery's owners should expect more of the same - disappointing WR2 numbers from a player with proven WR1 potential.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery questionable

Fri, 14 Oct 2016 16:51:45 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 14, and is listed as questionable for Week 6.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery should be able to play but owners will need to check on his status before deciding on their starting lineup. Jeffery has been trying to build chemistry with QB Brian Hoyer but has not posted great numbers. He should still be at least a No. 2 receiver for owners.

Thu, 13 Oct 2016 18:29:22 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Oct. 13.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery listed as questionable

Wed, 12 Oct 2016 17:01:20 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 12.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery appears to be on track to play in Week 6 and should receive plenty of targets in the passing game. He can be considered a No. 1 or No. 2 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery outshined in loss

Sun, 09 Oct 2016 20:19:02 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery had five receptions for 77 yards in the Week 5 game against the Indianapolis Colts. He was targeted six times.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery took a backseat to Cameron Meredith, who shined with Jeffery drawing the top cover man for Indy. It was a bit disappointing for fantasy owners that Jeffery did not shred a beleaguered Indianapolis secondary, but he remains a top fantasy option in all leagues heading into Week 6 against Jacksonville.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery officially active

Sun, 09 Oct 2016 09:06:54 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (knee) is officially active for the team's Week 5 game.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery should be the main target in the passing game with Kevin White sidelined and Eddie Royal dealing with an injury. Jeffery should be a starter in all fantasy leagues and could be considered a No. 2 receiver for owners.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery will play Sunday

Sun, 09 Oct 2016 07:18:36 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (knee) will play in Week 5's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery had been listed as questionable on the injury report and was a limited participant in practice throughout the week. He has a favorable matchup this week and should be considered a low-end WR1 or high-end WR2 in all fantasy formats.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery listed as questionable

Fri, 07 Oct 2016 16:03:06 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 7, and is listed as questionable for Week 5.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery should be active for the team's Week 5 game but has seen his yards drop in each of his last three weeks. He should still be targeted often this week and can be a No. 2 receiver for owners because of his matchup.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery limited again

Thu, 06 Oct 2016 15:32:23 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (knee) was limited in practice for the second straight day Thursday, Oct. 6.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery has been banged up throughout the past few weeks, practicing on a limited basis in those instances as well. It's apparently affecting his production, having just 17 receptions for 317 yards through the first four games with no touchdowns. Although he appears to be playing at less than 100 percent, owners shouldn't bench him, as he should continue to rack up targets, especially with Kevin White sidelined for an extend time. Also, he should finally get into the endzone sooner than later.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery limited

Wed, 05 Oct 2016 16:16:51 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 5.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery should be able to play this week even though he is listed as limited at practice. He will have a favorable matchup this week and should be a No. 1 or No. 2 receiver in all leagues.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery officially active

Sun, 02 Oct 2016 09:37:56 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (hamstring, knee) is officially active for the team's Week 4 game.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery performed well with Brian Hoyer as the quarterback last week and will have a big role in the passing game again this week. He should be seen as an attractive No. 2 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery will play Sunday

Sun, 02 Oct 2016 06:51:43 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (hamstring, knee) will play in Week 4's game against the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Tip: Although Jeffery was limited in practice throughout the week, he has a favorable matchup this afternoon versus a team he experienced plenty of success against last season. He should be viewed as no worse than a WR2 in all fantasy formats.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery limited in practice Friday

Fri, 30 Sep 2016 12:30:12 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (hamstring, knee) has been limited over the first two days of practice this week by a knee injury. On Friday, Sept. 30, he was limited by a hamstring injury and is expected to be listed as questionable leading into the team's Week 4 game versus the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery burned the Lions for eight catches, 147 yards and a score in his only game against the Lions last year. Detroit hasn't been all that good against receivers this season either, meaning Jeffery is a good candidate to score his first touchdown of the season if he sees the field. Consider him a high-end WR2 at worst if he suits up this weekend.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery limited in practice again

Thu, 29 Sep 2016 16:10:46 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (knee) was limited in practice again Thursday, Sept. 29.

Fantasy Tip: He was also limited on Wednesday, but this shouldn't affect his status for Sunday in a solid matchup with the Lions. Through three games, Jeffrey has hauled in 14 receptions for 271 yards, but is still searching for his first touchdown of the year.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery listed as limited

Wed, 28 Sep 2016 12:36:58 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery was able to play with the injury last week and should be ready to play again in Week 4. He has recorded at least 70 yards in each of the first three games of the season and should be a starting option in all leagues no matter which quarterback starts for the Bears.

Sun, 25 Sep 2016 16:25:44 -0700

Sun, 25 Sep 2016 06:31:22 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (knee) is expected to play in Week 3's game against the Dallas Cowboys, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery was listed as questionable on the injury report but was able to practice on a limited basis Friday, Sept. 23. He should be viewed as a risky WR2 option this week, especially with Brian Hoyer starting at quarterback in place of Jay Cutler.

Bears | Brian Hoyer concerned about chemistry?

Sat, 24 Sep 2016 19:38:56 -0700

Chicago Bears QB Brian Hoyer has pointed out throughout the week that he has not had many reps with WR Alshon Jeffery this season.

Fantasy Tip: Despite the lack of reps, you can expect Hoyer to look Jeffery's way early and often against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3, assuming Jeffery can play through a knee injury. If Jeffery is on the field, he has WR2 upside in all formats.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery limited Friday

Fri, 23 Sep 2016 11:10:57 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (knee) got in a limited practice Friday, Sept. 23, and will likely be deemed questionable for Week 3 against the Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery did not practice Thursday after being limited Wednesday, so this appears to be a legitimate questionable tag. While he is expected to play, owners will be in a bind if he can't as Chicago plays Sunday night. Eddie Royal is a logical replacement who is available in many leagues. Jeffery will also likely be catching passes from Brian Hoyer for the foreseeable future. Consider Jeffery a dice-roll WR2 this week.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery does not practice

Thu, 22 Sep 2016 12:24:45 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (knee) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 22.

Fantasy Tip: Owners will need to see if Jeffery will be able to practice Friday, Sept. 23, before making any decisions on their starting lineup. His value probably will take a hit if he plays because Brian Hoyer is expected to start at quarterback. Jeffery is a risky option for owners at this point but could still be a starting candidate in some leagues.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery limited

Wed, 21 Sep 2016 11:44:59 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 21.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery's status for Week 3 will be known later in the week, so owners should keep an eye on the situation. He may lose a little value if Jay Cutler is not able to play but should still be considered a starting option if he is active.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery just misses triple digits

Mon, 19 Sep 2016 21:39:20 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery finished with five receptions for a game-high 96 yards in the Week 2 game against the Chicago Bears Monday, Sept. 19. He was targeted seven times.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery is playing for a big payday this season, and that extra motivation is great news for his fantasy owners. Unfortunately, Jay Cutler left the game with a hand injury and his production went downhill shortly thereafter. Cutler isn't great, but if Jeffery is going to have great success he needs Cutler, not Brian Hoyer.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery goes over 100 yards

Sun, 11 Sep 2016 21:47:29 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery posted four receptions for a team-high 105 yards in Week 1 against the Houston Texans.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery remains a WR1 in all fantasy formats, and he'll be even better if Kevin White, or even Eddie Royal, can give the team something for opposing defenses to worry about.

Bears | Kevin White impressing Alshon Jeffery

Sun, 21 Aug 2016 19:37:48 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery said WR Kevin White is making strides and making plays. "He missed the whole year last year, so this year he's progressing right where we need him to be," Jeffery said.

Fantasy Tip: White has the physical skills to develop into a star, and lining up across from Jeffery should give him plenty of chances to make plays. He is a high-upside WR4.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery iffy for preseason opener

Wed, 10 Aug 2016 10:14:58 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) is uncertain for the preseason opener against the Denver Broncos on Thursday, Aug. 11.

Fantasy Tip: While he returned to practice in a limited fashion this week, Jeffery won't be thrust into game action if he isn't 100% ready. He remains a risky WR1 and ideal secondary option in fantasy.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery returns

Mon, 08 Aug 2016 08:51:01 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) returned to practice Monday, Aug. 8, but his workload is yet to be determined.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery's injury issues are one of the major things that have kept him out of the WR1 club in fantasy. He remains a high-end WR2, but he has the upside of a contract year.

Bears | Four Chicago pass catchers sitting out

Fri, 05 Aug 2016 11:52:53 -0700

Chicago Bears WRs Alshon Jeffery (hamstring), Kevin White (rest), Eddie Royal (concussion) and TE Zach Miller (concussion) did not participate in practice Friday, Aug. 5. Head coach John Fox said it was a scheduled day off for White, and Fox noted both Royal and Miller are improving.

Fantasy Tip: Continue to view Jeffery as a fringe No. 1 receiver worth grabbing any time into Round 2 of drafts, whereas White is an upside candidate to target into the middle rounds as your No. 3 or No. 4 wide receiver. Miller is a late-round option after a decent finish to 2015 (31 receptions, 404 yards and five touchdowns over the final eight games). At this point, Royal is a low-end option in deep leagues.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery out of practice

Thu, 04 Aug 2016 07:42:49 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (undisclosed) is out of practice Thursday, Aug. 4.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery left practice early yesterday due to muscle tightness, which sounds minor. Jeffery is on the cusp of being a WR1, but his health hasn't allowed him to reach that pinnacle. He's a high-end WR2 in fantasy with the upside of a contract year.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery doesn't finish practice

Wed, 03 Aug 2016 11:30:52 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (undisclosed) did not finish practice because of muscle tightness Wednesday, Aug. 3.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery was limited to just nine games last year, so fantasy owners want to see him healthy leading into the season. View Jeffery as a fringe No. 1 receiver, and he has averaged six catches and 82 yards per game over the past three years with 21 touchdowns in 41 outings. Check back for updates, but there isn't any reason to push the panic button at this point.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery mum on contract talks

Thu, 28 Jul 2016 13:10:21 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery did not engage in discussing his failed big to secure a long-term contract Thursday, July 28. "Right now I'm in the process ... I'm focusing on football," Jeffery said. "I'm just focused on this year. Anything else will take care of itself."

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery is a fringe No. 1 receiver in all fantasy leagues and should be targeted beginning in the middle of Round 2 of drafts. He's the No. 1 target in the offense and has averaged six catches and 82 yards per game over the past three years with 21 touchdowns in 41 outings. The lack of a long-term deal could serve as motivation for a career year and a big pay day for Jeffery, too.

Bears | Chicago not sold on Alshon Jeffery?

Sat, 16 Jul 2016 10:53:07 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery and the Bears did not agree to a long-term deal before the deadline Friday, July 15. ESPNChicago.com's Jeff Dickerson said the disconnect between both sides is obvious, and he questioned if the Bears view Jeffery as a No. 1 wide receiver.

Fantasy Tip: Even though a deal was not done, Jeffery is still easily the Bears' best pass-catcher. When healthy, Jeffery is a WR1 and should be drafted as such in all fantasy formats.

Bears | No long-term deal for Alshon Jeffery

Fri, 15 Jul 2016 13:12:32 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery did not receive a long-term deal Friday, July 15, and will play under the one-year franchise tag.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery will be the team's No. 1 receiver in 2016 as long as he can stay healthy. He was limited to nine games in 2015 but was still able to record 807 yards and four touchdowns. Jeffery should be an early-round pick in most fantasy drafts this season.

Bears | No Alshon Jeffery deal in sight

Mon, 11 Jul 2016 06:36:11 -0700

Updating previous reports, Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery would have to dramatically decrease his salary expectations for a long-term deal to be completed by the July 15 deadline for franchise-tagged players. The scenario is unlikely to happen.

Fantasy Tip: On the bright side, he'll be a contract-year player this fantasy season with his sights set on a WR1 contract. He'll have to prove he can stay healthy and be a WR1, but he's a safer WR2 in the fantasy spectrum.

Comment (0) | Share: Tweet!Share on Facebook | Source: Chicago Tribune - Dan Wiederer

Bears | Alshon Jeffery deal unlikely

Fri, 08 Jul 2016 05:58:56 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery is far apart in talks on a long-term deal, and there isn't much optimism a deal will get done. "I sense that both sides really don't feel strongly about this one," said NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. "That's because Jeffery's got a $14.6 million tag. The Bears wanted to come in a couple of million below that."

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery's health has been a question with nagging injuries. He had a 54-807-4 line in nine games last season and he's a threat when he's on the field. He's a safer WR2 in fantasy.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery makes progress on deal

Tue, 21 Jun 2016 09:38:56 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery has continued to talk about a long-term contract, and a new deal is possible for the receiver, who received the franchise tag.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery's health has been sketchy, but he's a big target in the red zone. The parts are changing around him, and the depth chart is pretty thin behind him. He's a high-end WR2 in fantasy with some health risk.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery fine with one-year deal

Wed, 15 Jun 2016 17:32:28 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery said he would still like to receive a long-term deal but would be fine with his one-year deal if the two sides are not able to reach an agreement before July 15.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery likely will not hold out during training camp and will be the top target in the team's passing game in 2016. He is one of the better fantasy receivers available and will be an early-round pick in all leagues.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery plans to report

Tue, 14 Jun 2016 15:57:31 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery said he plans to report to training camp on time. Jeffery is participating in minicamp, but did not report for organized team activities earlier this month. He is awaiting a long-term contract agreement.

Fantasy Tip: It doesn't look like a serious holdout is in the works from Jeffery. The main question should be his health, as he missed significant time last season with injuries. Assuming he's good to go for the start of the regular season, he's worth selecting as a low-end WR1.

Mon, 13 Jun 2016 10:38:04 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery reported for the start of the mandatory minicamp Monday, June 13.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery trained in Florida this offseason and did not participate in the organized team activities because of his contract situation. He will be the main target in the passing game this season and should be one of the better fantasy receivers in 2016. Jeffery likely will be selected in the early rounds of drafts and will be a weekly starting candidate.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery not present

Wed, 01 Jun 2016 10:10:50 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery was absent at organized team activities Wednesday, June 1, and he continues to stay away from the team facility to train in South Florida. Jeffery already signed his franchise tag tender and is expected to rejoin the team for the veteran mandatory minicamp beginning June 14.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery played in just nine games last year due to injury, but he still managed 54 catches for 807 yards and four touchdowns. Fantasy owners may be a bit down on him coming off his injury woes, but when healthy, he's a surefire WR1 with Jay Cutler throwing him passes.

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery has not made much progress in contract talks with the Bears at this point. The two sides have until July 15 to reach a long-term agreement.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery has already signed his franchise tag tender offer and will has a few months to sign a long-term deal. Jeffery was limited to nine games in 2015 because injuries but still posted 807 yards and four touchdowns. Jeffery should be one of the better receivers in 2016 and could be an early-round option in most fantasy drafts.

Bears | Chicago negotiating with Alshon Jeffery

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery continues to negotiate a long-term deal with the team, according to general manager Ryan Pace.

Fantasy Tip: Jeffery remains away from the team during voluntary workouts as he rehabs from his injuries last year. He should be good to go for training camp later this year, and Jeffery remains one of the more explosive wideouts when he's healthy. View him as a WR1 worth taking in the early rounds.

Bears | Alshon Jeffery not working out

Mon, 25 Apr 2016 14:54:59 -0700

Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) did not show up for offseason workouts, according to a source. He is training in South Florida, according to a source, with the Bears' permission. Jeffery has already signed his franchise tag and is training in order to fix the soft tissue problems in his hamstring that plagued him in 2015. He is expected to report for mandatory minicamp from June 14 to June 16, if not sooner, according to the source.

Fantasy Tip: Being at full health is the primary concern for Jeffery and the Bears this offseason. He's one of the best wide receivers in the NFL when he's fully healthy, and he should still be viewed as a WR1 heading into 2016 fantasy drafts.
