|Colts | Dwayne Allen ruled out Week 7|
Fri, 21 Oct 2016 11:09:20 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Although there has been no confirmation, Allen is thought to have a high-ankle sprain and should be expected to miss multiple weeks. Jack Doyle should be a full-time player in his absence and be treated as a low-end TE1 this week.

|Colts | Dwayne Allen sidelined |
Thu, 20 Oct 2016 14:57:55 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Allen probably won't be suiting up against the Tennessee Titans, which makes Jack Doyle an under-the-radar start this week. He has been one of Andrew Luck's most trusted targets and put up a nice stat line last week when Allen was hurt (four catches, 53 yards, one touchdown).

|Colts | Dwayne Allen not at practice|
Wed, 19 Oct 2016 14:41:49 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Allen is looking pretty iffy for this week's tilt after suffering the ankle injury last week. Jack Doyle is primed for sleeper status. Andrew Luck has looked Doyle's way often even with Allen on the field, but Doyle tallied four catches for 53 yards and touchdown last week when Allen was ailing.

|Colts | Dwayne Allen week-to-week|
Mon, 17 Oct 2016 17:52:07 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Allen probably will miss at least one week because of the injury, so owners should look for a possible timetable for his return. Jack Doyle likely will take over as the starting tight end but probably will not be a great option for owners.

|Colts | Dwayne Allen questionable to return|
Sun, 16 Oct 2016 18:07:40 -0700
Indianapolis Colts TE Dwayne Allen (ankle) left the Week 6 game against the Houston Texans due to a right ankle injury. He is listed as questionable to return, but he is on the bench with a big ice bag on his lower leg.
Fantasy Tip: Allen is a big target in the red zone for the Colts. With Allen on the shelf, it appears Jack Doyle might see a few more targets inside the 20.

|Colts | Dwayne Allen posts 50 yards, TD|
Sun, 09 Oct 2016 20:24:33 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Allen's catch total was a season high, and his touchdown was the first since Week 1. Allen hasn't really taken off in the offense even with Coby Fleener leaving and going to New Orleans, although he has at least two catches in all five outings. Allen is a low-end TE1 heading into Week 6.

|Colts | Andrew Luck looking to his tight ends|
Sat, 17 Sep 2016 18:59:28 -0700
Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck targeted TE Dwayne Allen and TE Jack Doyle a combined 10 times in Week 1, resulting in eight completions for 88 yards and three touchdowns, and Luck said he wants to attack defenses in multiple ways this season.
Fantasy Tip: The Colts draw a tough matchup with Denver in Week 2, and if you have a decent alternative to Allen, you should plug them in.

|Colts | Dwayne Allen cleared to practice|
Mon, 05 Sep 2016 11:16:57 -0700
Fantasy Tip: The oft-injured Allen has huge touchdown upside when he is healthy, although staying on the field has been a problem for one of Andrew Luck's top red-zone targets. Owners can feel free to view him as a low-end TE1, but they should make sure to snag a quality backup as well.

|Colts | Dwayne Allen may be on field more|
Fri, 27 May 2016 09:28:56 -0700
Indianapolis Colts TE Dwayne Allen could see the field considerably more in the upcoming season, as new offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski may elect not to use as many multiple tight-end sets as former offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton. The players listed behind Allen on the depth chart are all unproven, being TEs Jack Doyle, Erik Swoope and Darion Griswold.
Fantasy Tip: Allen has flashed notable potential over the past few years, but was never really able to break out while splitting time with Coby Fleener. Now that Fleener is out of town, Allen will be in a nice position to make his mark, and as long as a healthy Andrew Luck remains under center, he could end up being a great value pick later in drafts. Certainly keep an eye on this situation.
