Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright is attempting to rebound from a down year in 2014 that saw him record more touchdown receptions, but less yardage, fewer receptions and fewer first downs than in 2013. Improving his technique will be a priority for Wright heading into the 2015 season. "I think a lot of things, but thinking and doing what I have to do are totally different," Wright said. "So I just keep my thoughts to myself. I don't even speak them out loud. Whatever I have to do, I'll do," said Wright.
Fantasy Tip: Wright will likely enter the season as rookie Marcus Mariota's No. 2 weapon in the passing game, right beside Justin Hunter. Wright is worth a shot as a late-round flier but the bigger issue is the Titans' offense as a whole, not just Wright's play on his own.
Wed, 29 Apr 2015 00:37:55 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright had his fifth-year option officially picked up Tuesday, April 28.
Fantasy Tip: Wright dropped from 94 catches and 1,079 yards in 2013 to 57 catches in 2014. That can be attributed in part to the Titans' QB shuffle. Wright did score six touchdowns, which definitely helps his status in scoring leagues. He grades as a WR3 on most draft boards but not much higher yet.
Thu, 23 Apr 2015 13:10:29 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright's fifth-year option is expected to be picked up by the team this offseason.
Fantasy Tip: Wright saw some of his stats drop from 2013 to 2014, but he still had a decent season with 57 receptions, 715 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 14 games. Wright could be a middle- to late-round option in most drafts next season.
Thu, 18 Dec 2014 16:11:42 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hand) is active for Week 16 after being limited in practice all week.
Fantasy Tip: Wright ($5,000) has a nice matchup versus the Jacksonville Jaguars tonight, though he could be limited after nursing the hand injury this week. You might be better off looking for a less risky option on FantasyScore.
Wed, 17 Dec 2014 14:49:26 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hand) was limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 17, and is questionable for Week 16 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fantasy Tip: Wright ($5,000) could be a true game-time decision, making him a risky play at FantasyScore. If he's out, Nate Washington ($3,600) gains some value, but neither receiver is a glowing recommendation for daily lineups because of QB problems and a surprisingly stout Jaguars secondary of late.
Tue, 16 Dec 2014 12:10:53 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hand) was limited in practice Tuesday, Dec. 16.
Fantasy Tip: Wright ($5,000, 10%) looks like he'll play Thursday night after missing the last two games. He has a great matchup facing the Jacksonville Jaguars but keep in mind that Charlie Whitehurst will be starting at quarterback.
Mon, 15 Dec 2014 16:58:18 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hand) was limited in practice Monday, Dec. 15. The Titans didn't actually practice Monday, so Wright's status is an estimation.
Fantasy Tip: Wright has missed the last two games but appears primed to return in Week 16 against the Jacksonville Jaguars Thursday night. If he plays, he'll be a sleeper play against the Jags awful secondary. However, temper expectations with Charlie Whitehurst likely to start at quarterback.
Sun, 14 Dec 2014 11:49:36 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hand) has been declared inactive for the team's Week 15 game.
Fantasy Tip: Nate Washington likely will receive more targets with Wright out of the lineup. Washington costs $3,600 on FantasyScore and could be a nice cheap option since he has a favorable matchup.
Sun, 14 Dec 2014 11:41:56 -0800
The Tennessee Titans have declared OT Taylor Lewan, DE Mike Martin, QB Zach Mettenberger, SS Daimion Stafford, OT Byron Stingily, LB Kamerion Wimbley, WR Kendall Wright inactive for Week 15.
Thu, 11 Dec 2014 13:56:52 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hand) was limited in practice Thursday, Dec. 11.
Fantasy Tip: Wright has been limited two days in a row now, so it will be important to track his status heading into the weekend. If he does play, he'll have a nice matchup against the New York Jets, though he could have limited playing time.
Wed, 10 Dec 2014 12:55:17 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hand) was limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 10.
Fantasy Tip: If Wright is able to play, he'll have a tasty matchup facing a New York Jets defense that allows more than 181 yards per game to wide receivers.
Sun, 07 Dec 2014 08:46:17 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hand) is inactive Sunday, Dec. 7.
Fantasy Tip: Delanie Walker ($5,400; 10.8% of your cap) is likely to benefit with more looks. He's a mid-rate TE1 on FantasyScore.
Sun, 07 Dec 2014 08:37:19 -0800

Fri, 05 Dec 2014 14:19:45 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hand) is not expected to play in the team's Week 14 game, although he said he has not given up the hope of playing. "I am going to see how I feel (Saturday) and let them evaluate it, but I am definitely not done for the season,'' Wright said. "It is a hand injury, and I need my hands to catch. I wouldn't want Zach (Mettenberger) to slow his balls down or do anything different just to throw the ball to me.
"But if I can't play, I can't play. It's a broken hand, it's not like it's an ankle where I can just tape it up. There's no treatment for it. … But I am definitely not done for the season, I know that."
Fantasy Tip: Avoid Wright in FantasyScore this week. Nate Washington ($3,300) is a decent option with a good matchup against the Giants. Derek Hagan ($3,000) and Kris Durham ($3,000) could be deep sleepers, especially if Wright does not play.
Fri, 05 Dec 2014 12:31:08 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hand) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 5, and is listed as questionable for Week 14.
Fantasy Tip: Wright is dealing with a broken bone in his hand, which likely would affect his play if he is active for the game. Wright costs $5,200 on FantasyScore, but owners should avoid him this week. Nate Washington could be the team's No. 1 receiver in the game and could be a flex option at $3,300.
Fri, 05 Dec 2014 09:47:45 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hand) will not need surgery to fix a cracked bone in his hand, according to a league source.
Fantasy Tip: Wright ($5,200) hasn't been ruled out for Week 14 against the New York Giants, but you'd be crazy to play him at FantasyScore. With Justin Hunter (spleen) out for the year, Nate Washington ($3,300) should now become a realistic starting option for daily lineups. Derek Hagan ($3,000) and Kris Durham ($3,000) could be worth desperation fliers as deep sleepers if Wright is out.
Thu, 04 Dec 2014 17:19:09 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (hand) cracked a bone in his right hand when he slipped in practice Wednesday, Dec. 3, but he has not been ruled out for the team's game against the New York Giants Sunday, Dec. 7.
Fantasy Tip: The team will monitor the swelling, but Wright could still play if he can handle the pain. Even if he does suit up, he should be avoided at FantasyScore in case he aggravates the injury during the game. Meanwhile, Delanie Walker ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) and Nate Washington ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) should see a boost in value if Wright sits.
Thu, 04 Dec 2014 11:40:56 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (wrist) is not participating in practice Thursday, Dec. 4. Wright was wearing a splint on his right wrist during the media-access portion of practice.
Fantasy Tip: Owners will need to see if Wright will be able to practice Friday, Dec. 5, before having an idea on his status for Week 14. Owners may want to avoid using Wright on FantasyScore at $5,200 if he is not 100 percent for Week 14.
Tue, 02 Dec 2014 14:52:07 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Derek Hagan is likely to join WRs Kendall Wright and Nate Washington as one of the top-three receivers now that WR Justin Hunter (spleen) is done for the year, starting in Week 14 against the New York Giants. Hagan had been working on special teams and as the team's fourth wideout. He played 32 snaps on offense and caught two passes for 39 yards in Week 13. WR Kris Durham is a young alternative, but the team isn't very high on him, he's not fast, and he's been inactive for 10 games. In the two games Durham was active, he didn't even play a single snap.
Fantasy Tip: Even though the Giants defense is vulnerable in the secondary, Hagan ($3,000) is a desperation play at FantasyScore because of the team's uncertainty at quarterback.
Sun, 30 Nov 2014 14:35:48 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright posted team-highs with seven receptions and 132 yards in the Week 13 game against Houston Texans, and he also found his way into the end zone.
Fantasy Tip: It was Wright's first 100-yard game of the season, and he nearly doubled his previous season best of 70 yards from two weeks ago. Wright has been targeted five times or more in 11 of his 12 games this season, so the intent to get him the ball is there. However, some shaky quarterback play has held down his fantasy production.
Sun, 23 Nov 2014 15:15:15 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright was limited to just one catch for 28 yards in Week 12 against the Philadelphia Eagles. That catch did not come until 10 minutes remaining in the game.
Fantasy Tip: Wright said earlier in the week that he wants to do more, and he was targeted six times. However, he was third on the team in targets behind emerging threat Justin Hunter and TE Delanie Walker. FantasyScore owners will want to steer clear of Wright until he starts to get more consistent looks in the offense.
Wed, 09 Jul 2014 13:26:19 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright has recently been working out with Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III.
Mon, 16 Jun 2014 07:30:51 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright said he is working on his explosiveness in order to break more tackles and make more big plays this year. Wright has spent more time in the weight room and studied head coach Ken Whisenhunt's offense with the San Diego Chargers in 2013.
Fantasy Tip: Wright emerged on the fringe of a WR3 last season, and it's possible he could serve as such this season.
Mon, 30 Dec 2013 08:16:17 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright finished the year with 94 catches, 1,079 yards and four touchdowns in 2013.
Fantasy Tip: He's going to need another receiver to help take some attention away from him if he's going to take the next step in 2014.
Sun, 29 Dec 2013 15:37:59 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright posted 94 receptions in 2013, becoming the first receiver for the franchise to post 90 or more catches since WR Derrick Mason during the 2004 season.
Fri, 06 Dec 2013 12:22:28 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (ankle) practiced in full Friday, Dec. 6, and is probable for Week 14.
Fantasy Tip: You should be looking to get Wright into your starting lineup in most places, especially point-per-reception formats. Tennessee may be forced to go to the air early and often to play catch up with the Denver Broncos.
Thu, 05 Dec 2013 13:38:55 -0800
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (ankle) practiced in full Thursday, Dec. 5.
Fantasy Tip: Wright should be fine to play against the Denver Broncos this weekend, and he should be seen as a stable wideout option. His targets could easily increase if Delanie Walker (concussion) is held out, as expected.

Mon, 23 Sep 2013 12:28:04 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Nate Washington caught eight passes for a career-high 131 yards in the team's Week 3 victory over the San Diego Chargers. "Nate just balled out - that's all you can say," WR Kendall Wright said. "He's a captain and he kept leading us, by example and vocally. When you get a vet like that who's been in the game a long time, you listen to him because he's one of the hardest-working guys out there." Offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains said QB Jake Locker believes in Washington.
Fantasy Tip: Washington has taken advantage of the opportunity that Kenny Britt's poor play has given him, and he's running with it. Washington should see plenty of looks from Locker now, making him a smart waiver wire pickup this week.
Mon, 23 Sep 2013 12:20:48 -0700
Updating a previous report, Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt once again was lackluster in the team's Week 3 win over the San Diego Chargers and had several drops. In a key late-game third-and-long situation, Britt was benched in favor of WR Justin Hunter, who wound up making the game-winning touchdown catch. Britt was on the sideline for all of the team's 10 plays during their 94-yard game-winning drive. WR Nate Washington, who had eight catches in the game, has become the team's top wideout, with WR Kendall Wright running more of the underneath routes. Britt said he was banged up with a sore neck and bruised rib from a scary tackle in the second quarter, but offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains said the receiver rotation on the final drive was a coaching decision. Britt was targeted five times in the game and didn't have a single catch, including two drops. "Kenny's still a physical specimen. He's going to be part of this offense," Loggains said. "We just have to clean that stuff up. We can't have dropped balls from anyone. We can't have penalties. We can be a good football team if we clean that stuff up. We're not going to be good if we're stupid."
Fantasy Tip: Britt put himself further into the doghouse in this game. If you own him, you might not be able to get away with dropping him yet, but he should be banished to your bench in Week 4. Washington and Wright are gaining steam for waiver wire acquisitions.
Fri, 20 Sep 2013 13:01:51 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (concussion) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 20, and is listed as probable for Week 3.
Fantasy Tip: It appears Wright will be able to play in the game and should have a role in the passing game. Wright should be considered as a No. 3 wide receiver or a flex option for most fantasy teams.
Thu, 19 Sep 2013 16:23:24 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (concussion) did not practice again Thursday, Sept. 19, but he doesn't think he has a concussion. Wright will visit with a doctor before practice Friday, Sept. 20, and the team expects him to be cleared to practice and play in Week 3 against the San Diego Chargers. WR Damian Williams will serve as the No. 3 receiver and WR Justin Hunter will be the fourth if Wright can't play.
Fantasy Tip: Wright should be a solid play against a weak Chargers secondary if he can suit up. If not, Kenny Britt and Nate Washington receive a boost in value for the week.
Wed, 18 Sep 2013 14:15:14 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (concussion) did not practice Wednesday, Sept. 18.
Fantasy Tip: Wright was hit hard by cornerback Kareem Jackson last week, which likely left him concussed. He'll have to pass the league's concussion protocol to be cleared for this weekend's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Needless to say, Wright's status will be in question. If he doesn't play, Nate Washington and Justin Hunter will likely see more targets.
Tue, 17 Sep 2013 11:10:42 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt is not happy with the team and thinks this will be his last year in Tennessee.
Fantasy Tip: If Britt continues to have issues with the team, the main beneficiaries on the field will be Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter. For now though, it is tough to have Britt anywhere near your starting lineup.
Fri, 13 Sep 2013 15:11:54 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright had only two catches for 11 yards and played in just 19 of the team's 67 offensive snaps in Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he expects to be more involved moving forward. "Whatever we have to do to get the win, whether it's passing or running, that's all that matters," said Wright, who caught 64 passes for 626 yards in 2012. "It just depends on what the defense is doing." Wright said he was 95 percent healthy in Week 1 after missing the final two preseason games with a knee ailment.
Fantasy Tip: Don't be too alarmed with Wright's disappearing act in Week 1; No. 1 wideout Kenny Britt also had an alarmingly quiet game. The reason: Tennessee made it a slow, grind-out, ground-and-pound game with the Steelers. Expect more production from both wide receivers when the game dictates more passing.
Mon, 09 Sep 2013 07:08:03 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright played just 19 of the 67 offensive snaps in Week 1.
Sun, 18 Aug 2013 13:47:03 -0700
Updating previous reports, Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (knee) is day to day with a sprained knee and won't play in the preseason game this week. The team is hopeful he'll be ready for Week 1. WR Damian Williams will have increased snaps in Wright's absence.
Sun, 18 Aug 2013 08:08:40 -0700
Indications are Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (knee) suffered a sprained knee during the team's preseason game Saturday, Aug. 17, and not a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Fantasy Tip: Wright is expected to have a solid role in the passing game this season, but this injury could affect his fantasy status if he has to miss time. If he is healthy he should be considered a No. 3 or 4 fantasy wide receiver this season.
Sat, 17 Aug 2013 19:50:11 -0700
Updating a previous report, Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (knee) said Saturday, Aug. 17, that he is pretty worried about the knee injury he suffered in the preseason game against the Miami Dolphins. He said after the game that the knee is stiff and he is waiting on test results.

Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (undisclosed) was carted off during the first half of the preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals Saturday, Aug. 17, due to an undisclosed injury.
Sun, 11 Aug 2013 08:39:05 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright has been a reliable pass catcher during offseason workouts and training camp even though he dropped a pass in the team's first preseason game. Wright has looked faster since losing weight and has been making several acrobatic catches.
Sat, 20 Jul 2013 15:29:33 -0700
San Francisco 49ers RB Kendall Wright (Achilles') and WR Kyle Williams (knee) are expected to come off the Physically Unable to Perform list early in training camp.
Tue, 02 Jul 2013 20:33:15 -0700
The Tennessee Titans would like to carry five wide receivers, though six wouldn't be out of the question. If they keep five, WRs Kenny Britt, Justin Hunter, Nate Washington, Damian Williams and Kendall Wright are likely to be kept, although that would mean WRs Marc Mariani (leg), Michael Preston and Kevin Walter would be on the outside looking in.
Fri, 21 Jun 2013 13:30:18 -0700
Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak and offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains both were happy with how the wide receivers performed during offseason workouts. "The receiving group has been fun to watch, the way they're working in the run game and the pass game. We've drafted guys at that position the last few years and there's great competition and camaraderie there. I think it was fun seeing [WR Kenny Britt] healthy and not having questions every day about his health, and seeing [WR Kendall Wright] lose 15 pounds and running out here like a guy who's going to break a lot of runs next year. [WR Nate Washington] has had the best camp he's had since he's been here. He's been a leader. He's been everything you could ask for," Munchak said.
