Raiders | Defensive coordinator may face fine for finger

Oakland Raiders defensive coordinator Jason Tarver gave officials the middle finger during the third quarter of the 21-18 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Oct. 27 and was caught swearing on camera while making a gesture many consider obscene. Tarver was upset over a penalty originally assessed to CB Mike Jenkins. Jenkins was flagged for hitting a defenseless receiver after using force to dislodge the football, but the penalty was eventually rescinded. The coaching staff was irate at the time and Tarver broke out the middle finger.
