|Patriots | Aaron Dobson, Keshawn Martin battling|
Wed, 17 Aug 2016 21:49:50 -0700
New England Patriots WRs Aaron Dobson and Keshawn Martin are battling for the fifth receiver spot on the depth chart. Both are considered the leading candidates heading into the second preseason game.
Fantasy Tip: Even the winner of this battle has very little fantasy appeal unless injuries strike Danny Amendola, Julian Edelman or the other receivers, opening up a bigger role for Dobson or Martin.

|Patriots | Four WR spots set in New England|
Tue, 02 Aug 2016 20:27:40 -0700
New England Patriots WRs Julian Edelman, Chris Hogan, Danny Amendola and Malcolm Mitchell are considered locks as the top four wide receivers. The team is expected to keep one or two more receivers from a list that includes WRs DeAndre Carter, Aaron Dobson, Chris Harper, Devin Lucien, Keshawn Martin and Nate Washington. Dobson has reportedly looked good in training camp so far, but the fact he doesn't play special teams might hurt his chances. Martin received a $600K fantasy bonus in January, so he might be the favorite for the No. 5 job.
Fantasy Tip: Edelman and Amendola will be the top fantasy options, while Hogan and Mitchell are worth fliers in leagues with deeper rosters. The others have little to no fantasy appeal, although if injuries open up more prominent roles the No. 5 or 6 receivers could emerge later.

|Patriots | Several Pats receivers on bubble|
Mon, 27 Jun 2016 12:02:35 -0700
New England Patriots WRs Keshawn Martin, Aaron Dobson, Nate Washington and Chris Harper are all considered to be on the roster bubble by Paul Perillo of patriots.com. Perillo added that the mostly likely scenario is Martin, Dobson and Washington battling for one or two roster spots.
Fantasy Tip: Dobson and Martin probably have an edge for now, but none of them have much fantasy value as the Patriots' No. 5 wide receiver at best.

|Patriots | Several New England WRs could shine|
Tue, 19 Jan 2016 20:10:32 -0800
New England Patriots WRs Danny Amendola, Keshawn Martin and Brandon LaFell each recorded at least two receptions last weekend in the win over the Kansas City Chiefs, but their production combined did not come close to that of WR Julian Edelman or TE Rob Gronkowski. Now they move on to face the Denver Broncos Sunday, Jan. 24.
Fantasy Tip: Amendola ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) shined when Edelman was sidelined, but he is now way overpriced in FantasyScore since his targets will be down. Martin ($2,200, 4.4% of cap) posted 57 yards last week on a pair of grabs, and he might be a nice sleeper at a low price. LaFell ($5,800, 11.6% of cap) is also way overpriced with Edelman and Gronk healthy, and he should be avoided, even with limited options across the board.

|Patriots | James White, Keshawn Martin score|
Sun, 13 Dec 2015 22:47:42 -0800
New England Patriots RB James White ran once for a two-yard touchdown in Week 14 against the Houston Texans, and he added four grabs for 38 yards. WR Keshawn Martin also scored a touchdown, finishing with three catches and 23 yards.
Fantasy Tip: White and Martin are getting opportunities in the offense with several injuries on the offensive side of the football. White is a decent flex fantasy option in standard fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams, while Martin is a decent low-end WR3 or flex option in FantasyScore.

|Patriots | Keshawn Martin expected to play|
Sun, 29 Nov 2015 07:50:30 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Martin ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) hasn't been active since Week 6 and only has six receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown this season. He can be ignored in FantasyScore.
