Sun, 25 Sep 2016 12:58:10 -0700

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (shoulder) and WR T.Y. Hilton (knee) are officially active for the team's Week 3 game.

Fantasy Tip: Luck and Hilton should both be solid starting options for fantasy owners and are not expected to be limited during the game.

Colts | T.Y. Hilton sits practice, should be fine

Fri, 23 Sep 2016 12:04:45 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, September 23. Head coach Chuck Pagano said Hilton was rested due to soreness and he'll be fine. Hilton is also being listed as questionable on the injury report for Week 4.

Fantasy Tip: Even though Hilton didn't practice, it sounds like he'll still be able to suit up in the team's next contest opposite the San Diego Chargers, which figures to present the 26-year-old with a plus matchup. As long as he plays, he should be started in every format.

Colts | Andrew Luck, T.Y. Hilton limited Thursday

Thu, 22 Sep 2016 14:49:46 -0700

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (shoulder) and WR T.Y. Hilton (knee) were limited in practice Thursday, Sept. 22.

Fantasy Tip: Usually when players are limited this "early" in the week they end up playing that weekend. Luck and Hilton both have a good matchup on paper, although Hilton could be shadowed by one of the best cornerbacks in the game in Jason Verrett. Tempering expectations for Hilton in such a case would be advised, but he's still a WR2 consideration, while Luck remains in QB1 territory.

Colts | Andrew Luck, T.Y. Hilton practice in full

Fri, 16 Sep 2016 12:59:55 -0700

Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck (shoulder) got in a full practice Friday, September 16, after being limited in the previous day's session. Additionally, WR T.Y. Hilton (knee) returned to practice after not practicing on Thursday.

Fantasy Tip: Regardless of their status from earlier in the week, both will be fine for the Colts' Week 2 tilt. Luck posted monster numbers in the opener at Detroit, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him continue to provide QB1 production from here on out. Meanwhile, although Hilton didn't score in Week 1, he still had a solid showing with six catches for 79 yards on a healthy 12 targets. He's a desirable WR2 with WR1 potential.

Colts | Andrew Luck, T.Y. Hilton on injury report

Thu, 15 Sep 2016 14:06:50 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (knee) did not practice Thursday, Sept. 15, while QB Andrew Luck (shoulder) was limited with a right shoulder ailment. Neither had been on the injury report earlier this week.

Fantasy Tip: The extent, cause and severity of these injuries were not disclosed, but it's alarming for players to show up on an injury report later in the week. In Luck's case, however, the Colts may just be limiting his reps before gameday. He and Hilton both face a tough test in the Denver Broncos this week, and their fantasy value already takes a dip because of that. They're definitely both still startable as long as they're playing, but look for updates on their statuses this weekend.

Colts | T.Y. Hilton's speed to be unleashed

Fri, 09 Sep 2016 20:25:25 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton and the rest of the receivers will be asked to use their speed to generate yards after the catch, offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski said. Chudzinski said he has emphasized the catch-and-run approach all offseason and wants to use speed as a weapon.

Fantasy Tip: Hilton's speed has allowed him to make plenty of big plays down the field in the past, but a shift to shorter routes could actually help his fantasy value by boosting his week-to-week consistency. Start him with confidence as a WR2.

Colts | T.Y. Hilton bothered by sore hamstring

Sun, 21 Aug 2016 07:39:06 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (hamstring) continues to be bothered by a sore hamstring, which he suffered in the preseason opener against the Buffalo Bills, according to head coach Chuck Pagano.

Fantasy Tip: Despite this minor setback, the 26-year-old Hilton should have a solid year, especially if Andrew Luck remains under center for the entire season. View him as a high-end WR2 in traditional fantasy leagues.

Colts | T.Y. Hilton owning Colts camp

Thu, 11 Aug 2016 09:39:57 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton has been arguably the best player on the field in training camp, according to Colts QB Andrew Luck. The quarterback noted Hilton's impressive consistency.

Fantasy Tip: A healthy Luck will do wonders for a bounce-back effort by Hilton. Consider the speedy receiver a strong secondary option for rosters this draft season.

Colts | Indianapolis using three receiver sets

Thu, 28 Jul 2016 20:15:00 -0700

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton, WR Donte Moncrief and WR Phillip Dorsett have been part of the three-receiver lineup implemented by offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski in the first two days of training camp. Under former offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton, Indianapolis primarily used two-tight end sets.

Fantasy Tip: The big winner is Dorsett, who should be on the field enough to approach WR4 territory.

Colts | T.Y. Hilton probable for Week 17

Fri, 01 Jan 2016 15:08:55 -0800

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (calf) fully practiced Friday, Jan. 1, and is probable for the Week 17 game against the Tennessee Titans.

Fantasy Tip: At best, Hilton ($6,800, 13.6% of cap) is a contrarian flier at FantasyScore in Week 17. The Colts are down to their third-string quarterback, and it hasn't been announced who will start yet. At his cap hit, you should aim for more stability than Hilton in daily contests.
