Dallas Cowboys DT Tyrone Crawford (Achilles') said his Achilles' tendon feels good but is dealing with some soreness and indicated that the tendon is weaker than he expected. "It's still sore but I'm starting to get used to being at practice and going up against an offensive lineman. (It's) definitely weaker than I expected it to be at this point and sometimes I try to put my foot down and it doesn't hold up as well as I wanted it to. I'm going to get through OTAs and make sure I get with my trainers and go through my rehab and I will probably feel good by training camp," Crawford said. He does not expect to start training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list.

Updating previous items, Dallas Cowboys DE Tyrone Crawford (Achilles) will reportedly miss the entire 2013 season due to a torn Achilles tendon.
Fantasy Tip: Combined with an injury to DT Jay Ratliff's hamstring, this has not been a good week to be a Cowboys defensive player. If anything, Anthony Spencer will need to stay very healthy for the 2013 season, although it is expected the Cowboys will go shopping for D-line help. If your league plays team defense, downgrade the Cowboys a little bit. Otherwise, look elsewhere in leagues with individual defensive picks.

Updating a previous item, Dallas Cowboys DE Tyrone Crawford (Achilles) was carted off the field Sunday, July 21, during the Cowboys' first practice of training camp. He was participating in slalom drills against tackling dummies when he fell to the ground and yelled in pain. He held his left ankle and lay on his back, pounding the ground in anger. "Achilles!" he told the trainers. "I can't --- believe this!" The Cowboys may now be forced to shore up the depth in the defensive line, an area owner Jerry Jones said in the offsesaon that he liked.
