Arizona Cardinals OT Bobby Massie is making good progress in offseason workouts this year. He has been running with the first-team unit, and QB Carson Palmer has had good things to say about him. "When you don't notice a guy that's a good thing," Palmer said. "That's what I have noticed about Bobby is that I haven't noticed him. That's exactly what you want from your tackles."

Arizona Cardinals WR Brittan Golden (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 10. TE Rob Housler (groin), DE Frostee Rucker (calf) and OT Bradley Sowell (illness) are questionable. LB John Abraham (shoulder), OT Bobby Massie (non-injury), LB Matt Shaughnessy (knee) and LB Daryl Washington (illness) are probable. Golden and Massie did not practice Friday, Nov. 8. Housler and Rucker were limited, while the others practiced in full.

Arizona Cardinals OT Bobby Massie watched video of his performance in Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons, and he was pleased with his performance in his first game of the season at right tackle. "What'd I show? I showed I can play. It was a big thing because I had a lot of mental errors in camp and I eliminated that," Massie said Tuesday, Oct. 29.

The team said they will try to get Massie his snaps, but because he plays just one position, his active status could change depending on injuries.

If Potter loses out in the battle, he can also work as a guard.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians said his first look at the team's roster prompted more positive surprises than negative ones, most notably on the offensive line. "We get some guys healthy, it's not as dire as some might make it out to be," Arians said. "And some young guys have a chance to play who might be all right." Arians pointed to OTs Nate Potter and Bobby Massie. Massie started every game while Potter started the last six. "They got some experience against quality opponents," Arians said. "They're just going to get better."

The Arizona Cardinals have some interest in trading for Baltimore Ravens OT Bryant McKinnie, who has fallen out of favor with OT Michael Oher taking his spot at left tackle. OT Kelechi Osemele is now starting at right tackle, leaving McKinnie as the odd-man out. McKinnie has played in only 23 offensive snaps in the team's last three games. Cardinals OTs Bobby Massie and D'Anthony Batiste are struggling mightily this year.
