Raiders | Rod Streater's season in doubt

Thu, 25 Sep 2014 12:33:35 -0700

Oakland Raiders WR Rod Streater's (foot) status for the rest of the season is uncertain, according to head coach Dennis Allen.

Fantasy Tip: Streater is expected to miss at least a few weeks with his foot injury, and owners will need to monitor his rehab to see if he has a chance to return this season. Streater should be kept on the bench until he is able to come back healthy.

Raiders | Rod Streater needs surgery

Wed, 24 Sep 2014 10:33:48 -0700

Oakland Raiders WR Rod Streater (foot) will need minor surgery to put a screw in his injured foot, and he is expected to be ready to return in four to five weeks, according to his agent. "Rod is going to be fine," his agent, Dr. D.S. Ping said. "He should be back strong later this season." Streater has nine catches for 84 yards and a touchdown this year.

Fantasy Tip: Jones has proved to be the team's No. 1 target through three weeks, but Andre Holmes or Vincent Brown could be worthy of a waiver addition in deep leagues. At FantasyScore, they're both deep sleeper options against the Miami Dolphins in Week 4.

Oakland Raiders WR Rod Streater (hip) suffered a hip flexor injury Week 2.

Fantasy Tip: Andre Holmes and Denarius Moore could see an increase in fantasy value if Streater misses time, but owners probably can find better options to use at wide receiver. Holmes could be a low-end option for owners in deeper point-per-reception leagues.
