Houston Astros SS Carlos Correa was sent down to Double-A Corpus Christi in a round of cuts made on Sunday, March 29.
Fantasy Tip: Correa was a former No. 1 draft pick who lost some significant time last year with injuries. If he can be stashed in a deep AL league he might be worth an end-of-draft pickup.

Houston Astros SS Carlos Correa (ankle) said he wants to work on his baserunning this spring and sliding into bases, which he hasn't done since breaking his right ankle sliding into third base in the minors last summer. Correa will slide head-first while stealing bases but will still go feet first to break up double plays. Correa is unlikely to make his major league debut in 2015, and he'll likely start the year at Double-A Corpus Christi.
Fantasy Tip: Correa provides excellent speed and power at a very scarce position. He won't be relevant in single-year formats in 2015, but he's most definitely a strong option for keeper and dynasty formats.

Houston Astros SS Carlos Correa (leg) will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery Wednesday, June 25, to repair a fractured fibula. General manager Jeff Luhnow said the team hopes Correa will be able to play in the Arizona Fall league in October or winter ball in November. Luhnow said the team does not expect the injury to have any long-term effects.
Fantasy Tip: Correa, one of the top prospects in baseball, will miss significant developmental time. He is still a ways away from a promotion, though, so it shouldn't hinder his timetable for a promotion too much.
