Browns | Josh Gordon back into end zone

Sun, 10 Dec 2017 16:18:46 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon finished with three receptions for a team-high 69 yards and a touchdown on six targets in Week 14 against the Green Bay Packers for his first touchdown since the 2013 season, or 1,078 days.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon has scored 10 or more fantasy points in PPR leagues in his first two games back, just the fourth player in NFL history to do that after such a lengthy absence. He is a special talent and is back as a fantasy standout as long as he can stay out of trouble.

Browns | Josh Gordon makes impact in return

Sun, 03 Dec 2017 16:35:10 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon finished with four receptions for 85 yards on 11 targets in the Week 13 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon was suspended for more than two seasons due to substance addiction, but he satisfied the NFL and Commissioner Roger Goodell to earn another chance. He looked awfully good and didn't show a lot of rust. Fantasy owners in need of a receiver should trust him down the stretch.

Browns | Josh Gordon will start in return

Thu, 30 Nov 2017 10:38:06 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon will start, as expected, against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 13, according to head coach Hue Jackson.

Fantasy Tip: Jackson has done nothing but rave about the prodigal receiver over the last week or two. Gordon is a physical specimen and a gifted receiver, but he hasn't played real football in three years. Take the risk if you're out of the playoffs, but starting him with a postseason berth on the line is playing with fire.

Browns | Josh Gordon to play 'as much as possible'

Mon, 27 Nov 2017 11:56:09 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon, who was reinstated on a conditional basis earlier in November, is poised to play his first regular season game in nearly three years in Week 13 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Head coach Hue Jackson told reporters he hopes to play Gordon "as much as possible."

Fantasy Tip: Considering the talent and the amount of time he has been away from the game, the potential range of outcomes for this week and the remainder of the season is huge. Gordon led the league with 1,646 yards receiving in only 14 games in 2013, then looked like a shell of himself after a long suspension in 2014. Owners owe it to themselves to give him at least one prove-it week before even they even consider trusting Gordon in their playoff lineups, but the talent is obviously there for him to be a league-winner.

Browns | Josh Gordon could play in Week 13

Sun, 26 Nov 2017 07:19:32 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon is expected to be activated by the team from the Reserve/Commissioner Exempt List this week, according to a source informed of the team's thinking. This means he would return to the field for Week 13's game versus the Los Angeles Chargers.

Fantasy Tip: The 26-year-old Gordon is set to play for the first time since Dec. 21, 2014, following multiple suspensions for repeated violations of the league's substance abuse policy. He was impressive after returning to practice last week but there has never been any doubt about his ability. Gordon is worth rostering in all fantasy formats but he should not be started in his first game back.

Browns | Josh Gordon back at practice Wednesday

Wed, 22 Nov 2017 11:29:43 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon took part in practice in a regular season full-squad practice Wednesday, Nov. 22, for the first time since Dec. 26, 2014.

Fantasy Tip: It's impossible to say with any conviction whether or not Gordon can have an impact in fantasy this season, but he seems to have turned his life around. The talent has never been in question with him, and it wouldn't be a surprise if he has an immediate impact in Week 13 - the first week he is eligible to play. With that said, owners would be wise to let him prove it for a game or two before sticking him in their lineups during the fantasy playoffs.

Browns | Josh Gordon will practice soon

Thu, 16 Nov 2017 11:21:43 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon is slated to begin practicing Monday, Nov. 20, according to head coach Hue Jackson. Jackson added that Gordon is doing all the right things, including showing up for meetings on time, and has been a "pleasure to be around."

Fantasy Tip: Whether or not Gordon's attitude and focus translate to the field remains to be seen. He's been out of the game since 2014, so the risk involved in starting him right away is obvious. Gordon's upside is clear, but don't start him immediately. Pick him up if he's still on waivers though.

Browns | Josh Gordon returns to Browns

Tue, 07 Nov 2017 11:37:26 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon officially returned to the Browns' facility Tuesday, Nov. 7, and is expected to participate in team meetings Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon won't be able to take the field for a few more weeks still, so don't think about starting him yet. When he does play, there is plenty of rust to shake off and the quarterback play has been some of the worst in the NFL. Gordon should merely be a fun, desperation flex play for teams eliminated from the playoffs.

Browns | Josh Gordon reinstated on conditional basis

Wed, 01 Nov 2017 15:35:11 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon has been reinstated by the NFL on a conditional basis and will begin practicing with the Browns starting Monday, Nov. 20. He can immediately take part in meetings and individual workouts and can be added to the active roster Monday, Nov. 27.

Fantasy Tip: There is a chance that Gordon will be able to play in December, so owners will need to monitor the situation. He has been successful when he has played and could be added in deeper leagues, but the team's quarterback situation will hurt his fantasy value.

Browns | Josh Gordon to meet with NFL

Tue, 31 Oct 2017 22:28:26 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon is set to meet with the NFL Wednesday, Nov. 1, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Gordon, who hasn't played since 2014, is seeking reinstatement.

Fantasy Tip: There were some rumblings that Gordon's rights would be dealt, but the deadline came and went without any action. If Gordon were to be reinstated it'd be interesting to see what the Browns did with him. He was a legitimate big-play receiver prior to his issues so he'd definitely be of interest if he were to return to the NFL.

Browns | Josh Gordon could be traded

Tue, 31 Oct 2017 11:19:13 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon may be reinstated by the NFL soon, and it's possible the Browns are willing trade the rights to him before the traded deadline Tuesday, Oct. 31, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: This is an interesting development considering Gordon has not played this year and all the off-field trouble he's been in in his young career. The talent is obviously there, though, and Gordon is still young at 26 years old. It would take a brave team to take another chance on Gordon. If he is traded, and reinstated, then he becomes a top waiver wire priority.

Browns | No reinstatement yet for Josh Gordon

Tue, 03 Oct 2017 11:14:52 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon has not yet applied for reinstatement, a source said Tuesday, Oct. 3.

Fantasy Tip: It's uncertain if Gordon will apply for reinstatement soon and how it will go when he does try. He has a long way to go before potentially seeing game action and therefore he warrants no fantasy consideration at this time.

Browns | Josh Gordon reinstatement not on horizon

Thu, 17 Aug 2017 11:16:21 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon's potential reinstatement to the NFL is not being actively considered, according to commissioner Roger Goodell. Gordon is eligible to re-apply for reinstatement in September after being denied reinstatement three months ago.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon has serious recurring off-field issues. He can be avoided altogether in fantasy leagues until at least next season, at which point he may still not be reinstated.

Browns | Cleveland not writing off Josh Gordon?

Thu, 11 May 2017 18:28:29 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon would be welcomed back if he is reinstated and is able to put his life back together, according to team sources.

Fantasy Tip: You can stash Gordon on the end of your bench in keeper formats if you want, but he is probably just dead weight.

Browns | Josh Gordon's reinstatement denied

Thu, 11 May 2017 08:40:33 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon's reinstatement petition was denied Thursday, May 11. He can reapply this fall.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon is a bit of an enigma and can't be trusted for fantasy purposes. He has all the talent in the world when he is on the field. He'd be a WR3 if reinstated, but that doesn't look promising in the interim.

Browns | Josh Gordon sticking with Cleveland?

Wed, 29 Mar 2017 11:01:15 -0700

Updating previous reports, Cleveland Browns general manager Sashi Brown said Cleveland may not release WR Josh Gordon. "We're not in a position at wide receiver to turn down a guy like Josh if we feel like he's settled himself," Brown said Tuesday, March 28, at the Annual League Meeting in Phoenix, per the Akron Beacon Journal. Head coach Hue Jackson previously said the Browns were expected to move on from Gordon.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon remains suspended and is nothing more that a late-round flier in fantasy until that changes.

Browns | Josh Gordon working with speed coach

Sat, 25 Mar 2017 19:09:36 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon has been training with speed coach and former Olympian Tim Montgomery.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon's issues off the field have ruined a promising career. He will likely receive another shot in the NFL, but he is nothing more than a late-round lottery ticket.

Browns | Josh Gordon unlikely to stay with CLE

Sat, 25 Mar 2017 05:06:58 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon likely will be traded or released if he is reinstated by the NFL, according to a source. The Browns would own Gordon's rights for two more years if he is reinstated.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon has not played since 2014 because of suspensions but there is a chance he could play in 2017. He has played well when he has been on the field but has been suspended multiple times because of substance abuse. He will be a risky option in all fantasy leagues and could only be a No. 5 receiver in deeper leagues if he plays.

Browns | Josh Gordon applying for reinstatement

Wed, 01 Mar 2017 07:43:40 -0800

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon is applying for reinstatement Wednesday, March 1.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon hasn't played since 2014, and he's merely just a player to take at the end of the draft when all of your depth is secured.

Browns | Josh Gordon can be traded

Mon, 31 Oct 2016 06:38:45 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon is allowed to be traded despite his indefinite suspension from the NFL. Gordon was released from an inpatient rehabilitation center Sunday, Oct. 30.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon can still be held in dynasty leagues depending on your roster restraints, but that's really pushing it right now after this long of a layoff.

Browns | Josh Gordon stays suspended

Mon, 03 Oct 2016 15:00:11 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon will remain on the NFL's Reserve/Suspended list pending further notice. Gordon recently checked himself into a rehabilitation facility.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon's future in Cleveland is all but over, and he may not play in a professional football game ever again. Terrelle Pryor remains the only fantasy relevant receiver for the Browns for the time being, but Corey Coleman will make a nice No. 2 when he returns from injury. Their ceiling is lowered with Cody Kessler at the helm, although Pryor has played like a low-end WR1 to high-end WR2 the last two weeks with Kessler.

Browns | Josh Gordon likely to be released

Fri, 30 Sep 2016 13:30:37 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon is expected to be released shortly in the wake of his announcement Thursday, Sept. 29, that he will an in-patient rehabilitation facility and after head coach Hue Jackson suggested the team was looking to move forward without the troubled receiver. "We wish him well. We need to close that chapter right now. We're moving on," Jackson said Friday, Sept. 30.

Fantasy Tip: It seems hard to believe a single team isn't willing to part with the conditional seventh-rounder to land Gordon, but the Browns may simply want to move on with their rebuilding process as quickly as possible. The supremely talented receiver will almost certainly get another shot, but let's first hope he can get his life in order first. He should be considered out indefinitely.

Browns | Josh Gordon done with the Browns?

Thu, 29 Sep 2016 15:45:34 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon's career with the team is "likely over," as he's not expected to receive another shot with this regime.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon has been given several chances in Cleveland to stay out of trouble, but unfortunately, the talented wide-out just hasn't been able to abide. There's no doubt he'd get another shot elsewhere if the Browns do dispose of him, but who knows when that will be with the 25-year-old just checking into rehab. Whenever Gordon is able to emerge from this, he's still capable of being a force again.

Browns | Josh Gordon entering rehab

Thu, 29 Sep 2016 14:42:37 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon announced Thursday, Sept. 29, that he is stepping away from pursuing his return to football in order to enter a rehabilitation facility.

Fantasy Tip: Whether or not Gordon's football career is completely over remains to be seen, but the prospect of him playing in 2016 doesn't sound promising. Terrelle Pryor will continue to be the best fantasy option in Cleveland's passing game with Gordon not returning and has WR2 appeal for the rest of the season. Aside from Pryor, Corey Coleman, when he makes a healthy return, and Gary Barnidge are really the only other startable pass-catchers going forward for the Browns.

Browns | Warrant for Josh Gordon rescinded

Wed, 21 Sep 2016 22:40:32 -0700

An arrest warrant for Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon was withdrawn after the receiver complied with a year-old court order to take a DNA test in a paternity suit. In a statement, Gordon's attorneys said he was unaware until noon Wednesday, Sept. 21, that he had been requested to take the test.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon remains on track for a return from his four-game suspension in Week 5. He might have a little rust initially, but he has WR2 upside if he can get up to speed quickly.

Browns | Josh Gordon on track for Week 5

Wed, 21 Sep 2016 11:27:23 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon is still on track to return for the team's Week 5 game even though a warrant has been issued for his arrest stemming from a paternity case, according to an NFL spokesperson.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon should have a role in the passing game when he returns, but he may be a risky option because of his latest off-field incident. Gordon could be a No. 3 receiver in leagues starting Week 5 with a chance to be more valuable depending on his play.

Browns | Josh Gordon makes presence felt

Fri, 26 Aug 2016 21:04:23 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon caught two passes for 87 yards and a touchdown in a 30-13 preseason loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Friday, Aug. 26.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon reminded fantasy owners of his upside, and he is a high-risk, high-reward option to target in the middle rounds. He could end up providing WR2 numbers for a discounted price.

Browns | Josh Gordon for a second rounder?

Fri, 26 Aug 2016 08:23:52 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon was part of trade discussions, and the package Cleveland sought was a second-round pick and more, according to sources. The team denied listening to offers.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon will miss the first four games, but his masterful 2013 season is still fresh in people's minds. The risk and reward is vast, and while it may be tough to do, he's best pegged as a WR3.

Browns | Browns not trying to trade Josh Gordon

Thu, 25 Aug 2016 17:37:25 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon said he wants to stay put, while the team has said there are no plans to trade the 25-year-old wideout. "Listening (to trade offers) is probably a mischaracterization," said Browns executive vice president of football operations Sashi Brown. "We've said all we needed to say about it. We're not looking to trade Josh."

Fantasy Tip: It appears unless an offer comes along that completely wows Browns management, Gordon is indeed going nowhere. He's slated to serve a four-game suspension to begin the campaign, but once he's done with that, Gordon will have WR1 potential. At the same time, owners shouldn't be surprised if he ultimately settles in as a solid WR2 due to the rust he'll probably be dealing with after only playing in five games the past two seasons.

Browns | Josh Gordon set to play Friday

Wed, 24 Aug 2016 09:07:31 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon (quadriceps) will play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Friday, Aug. 26, according to head coach Hue Jackson.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon will miss the first four games of the season due to a suspension, but he projects to return to a starting role once eligible in Week 5. He's two years removed from his dominant 2013 campaign, but fantasy owners shouldn't count out WR2 numbers from Gordon once he's back on the field. He's an enticing risk to take in the middle rounds of drafts once you're comfortable with your core selections.

Browns | Teams calling about Josh Gordon

Tue, 23 Aug 2016 05:52:27 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon has had multiple teams call the Browns inquiring about his availability, according to sources. A team source said the Browns aren't looking to trade Gordon, and many around the league believe head coach Hue Jackson is the right coach for Gordon to thrive with.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon will miss the first four games of the season, but Joe Haden raved about how well Gordon looks in practice as if he hasn't missed a step from a long hiatus. Gordon is a low-end WR2, but he makes a dynamite WR3 as the risk and reward are pretty high.

Browns | Josh Gordon runs with starters

Mon, 22 Aug 2016 06:53:58 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon (quadriceps) is running with the first-team offense in practice Monday, Aug. 22.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon will be suspended the first four games of the season, and there's some uncertainty as to how productive he'll be after such a long layoff. He's a boom-or-bust WR2 in fantasy, but you can't go wrong with him as a third receiver.

Browns | Josh Gordon likely to play this week

Mon, 22 Aug 2016 05:24:36 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon (quadriceps) is likely to play his first preseason game Friday, Aug. 26. "He still looks the exact same and it's just crazy,'' CB Joe Haden said. "He looks a little bigger. I don't know how that happened, but he's still out there running around, looking the same, running his routes, floating. It still looks effortless.''

Fantasy Tip: Gordon will be suspended the first four games of the season, and there's some uncertainty as to how productive he'll be after such a long layoff. He's a boom-or-bust WR2 in fantasy, but you can't go wrong with him as a third receiver.

Sun, 21 Aug 2016 18:40:44 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon was about 10 pounds overweight after missing time with a quadriceps injury, but beat writer Mary Kay Cabot said the weight is already coming off now that he is back practicing.

Fantasy Tip: It remains to be seen if Gordon can return to the form he showed before his career was derailed by suspensions, but there is no denying the talent. He is worth gambling on in the middle rounds as a WR4.

Browns | Josh Gordon may practice

Sun, 21 Aug 2016 09:37:44 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon (quadriceps) hopefully will be able to participate in practice this week, according to head coach Hue Jackson.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon has been dealing with the injury throughout training camp but appears to be close to returning. He has been suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season but still has plenty of value in fantasy leagues. He should be considered a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in most fantasy leagues.

Browns | Josh Gordon unlikely to play

Thu, 18 Aug 2016 11:14:38 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon (quadriceps) is not expected to play in the preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons Thursday, Aug. 18.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon has been dealing with a quadriceps injury and only returned to practice earlier in the week, so he probably will need to practice more before playing in a game. Gordon will miss the first four games because of a suspension but should have a decent role when he returns. Gordon has a chance to be a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Browns | Josh Gordon limited Monday

Mon, 15 Aug 2016 14:17:13 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon (quadriceps) was limited to individual drills during practice Monday, Aug. 15. Head coach Hue Jackson said Gordon likely will not play in the preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons Thursday, Aug. 18.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon will be eased back into practice but should be able to play in the final two preseason games. He is scheduled to miss the first four games of the 2016 season but should be a main part of the passing game when he returns. Owners in most leagues should consider Gordon a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver with upside.

Browns | Josh Gordon should return soon

Mon, 15 Aug 2016 09:16:52 -0700

Updating a previous report, Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon (quadriceps) is not expected to miss much practice time with a strained quadriceps muscle, according to Browns head coach Hue Jackson.

Fantasy Tip: Strains and dings are to be expected from a player who has been away from the team as much as Gordon. Even with a four-game suspension, he's a high-upside WR3 in fantasy drafts.

Browns | Josh Gordon limited at practice Sunday

Sun, 14 Aug 2016 15:07:56 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon (quadriceps) took part in the walkthrough portion of practice Sunday, Aug. 14.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon reported to camp out of shape in the eyes of head coach Hue Jackson and quickly pulled his quad shortly thereafter. The enigmatic playmaker will serve a four-game suspension to begin the season and may be asked to play second fiddle to Corey Coleman in the passing game if the rookie can get off to a good enough start. With Terrelle Pryor also looking like he may be an option in the Browns' run-heavy attack, it seems unlikely Gordon will live up to his sixth-round ADP in PPR formats.

Browns | Josh Gordon needs to shed pounds

Mon, 08 Aug 2016 15:04:20 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon (quadriceps) will hopefully return to practice soon, according to head coach Hue Jackson, but Jackson said Gordon would be the first to say he needs to lose some weight.

Fantasy Tip: It's not a big surprise that someone who hasn't played since 2014 isn't in optimal football shape. Gordon still has time to get there, though, and should start opposite Corey Coleman. Shaky quarterback play and a below average offense are certainly risk factors, but the Browns will need to pass a lot this season. Take a shot on Gordon as at least a WR4.

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon (quadriceps) will begin training camp on the Non-Football Injury list. He is working out on his own and is expected to miss a couple of weeks.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon has plenty of time to recover and get back into the swings of things, especially considering his four-game suspension. If he doesn't suffer any setbacks with the quad injury, the safe bet will be to look at him in the WR3 range.

Browns | Josh Gordon being reinstated

Mon, 25 Jul 2016 11:03:30 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon is being reinstated by the NFL conditionally, according to a source. He will be suspended for the first four games of the season.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon is an elite fantasy receiver when he's on the field. The problem is he's played in only 19 games since 2013 and was suspended all of 2015. He did total 1,646 yards on 87 catches in '13, though, so he certainly has high-end potential. However, don't overvalue Gordon, since he hasn't played in forever and will be in a new system with a new QB. Take him for upside as a WR3.

Browns | Josh Gordon decision not imminent

Fri, 22 Jul 2016 06:15:26 -0700

Updating previous reports, Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon has no timetable for a decision on his potential reinstatement, but one source said it isn't expected for at least six weeks.

Fantasy Tip: That would take us very close to the start of the season. Even then, there's no guarantee he would be able to play and contribute immediately. Gordon has WR1 talent, but with the dearth of talent at the position in fantasy, taking him as anything more than a WR3 with a WR4 that has significant upside isn't a shrewd move.

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon met with commissioner Roger Goodell Wednesday, July 20, regarding his possible return to football, according to sources. Gordon can reapply for reinstatement Aug. 1.

Fantasy Tip: There's still a lot to be determined with Gordon, including how many games he'd have to miss before rejoining the Browns. Stay tuned, but Gordon has elite potential at his position, and we've seen him put up WR1 numbers before with a less-than-ideal situation at quarterback in Cleveland.

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon would be welcomed back by the team if he is reinstated after eligible to apply Aug. 1, according to beat writer Mary Kay Cabot. Head coach Hue Jackson has said everyone will begin with a clean slate and that includes Gordon.

Fantasy Tip: If Gordon is able to return, he could be a tremendous fantasy asset. It's uncertain if and when he'll be reinstated, and even when he is it remains to be seen whether he can stay clean or not. He is the definition of a high-risk, high-reward pick.

Thu, 02 Jun 2016 12:16:00 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon has received help for his off-field issues, according to team official Jim Brown. "His way of expressing himself, the responsibility he was taking made me feel really very motivated about his chance of getting back,'' Brown said.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon can apply to be reinstated from his indefinite suspension Aug. 1, so he remains a viable stash candidate in keeper/dynasty leagues. You'll want to keep your expectations in check, and there are no guarantees Gordon will even be reinstated, but there is plenty of fantasy upside.

Browns | Josh Gordon phased out in Cleveland?

Wed, 11 May 2016 06:56:13 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon may not have a roster spot to return to if he's reinstated after the team drafted four wide receivers in the 2016 NFL Draft. The new regime in the front office has also said that high-character players were something they stressed in the draft.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon is supremely talented, but he has missed 27 of the last 32 games due to suspension. If he's let go, he's sure to find another suitor and be a WR2 option in fantasy with serious risk.

Browns | Josh Gordon's agent confident in return

Fri, 15 Apr 2016 18:19:46 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said he is confident that Gordon will play in the NFL this year.

Fantasy Tip: It's not like Rosenhaus was going to say anything to the contrary, and as long as Gordon's status remains in limbo, he is a complete roll-of-the-dice pick.

Browns | Josh Gordon can reapply in August

Wed, 13 Apr 2016 13:37:15 -0700

Updating a previous report, Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon will be able to reapply for reinstatement Aug. 1, according to a source. Gordon's application for reinstatement was denied Tuesday, April 12.

Fantasy Tip: Gordon could still be reinstated and join the Browns this season. For now, though, Andrew Hawkins, Brian Hartline and Taylor Gabriel will serve as Robert Griffin III's primary targets. Terrelle Pryor is also an intriguing option. None of them should be viewed as viable starting fantasy wide receivers.
