New England Patriots RB Donald Brown could not have landed in a better spot when he signed with the Patriots back in March, according to Hall-of-Fame executive Bill Polian, who chose the 29-year-old in the first round of the 2009 draft while he was the general manager of the Indianapolis Colts.
Fantasy Tip: Brown has flown completely under the radar this offseason, which is a bit surprising since Dion Lewis is recovering from an ACL tear. New England head coach Bill Belichick said Wednesday the former Colt is "a pleasure to coach", while Polian believes Brown is still a very good blocker and receiver as well as an explosive runner who can thrive when asked to run stretch plays. While he's not even guaranteed a roster spot at the moment, expect Brown to emerge as the primary backup to both Lewis and Blount.
