Tennessee Titans OT Taylor Lewan's attorney said there has been a resolution reached in Lewan's assault case, and that he has asked the judge to cancel the trial. Lewan is scheduled to appear in court Thursday, Oct. 30.

Tennessee Titans OT Taylor Lewan will replace OT Michael Roos (knee) in the starting lineup in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The veteran Roos expressed confidence in the rookie. "I think he'll be fine," Roos said. "He is definitely capable. He just has to get his mind right that he'll play and I think he'll do fine."

Tennessee Titans OT Michael Roos (knee) will need season-ending surgery on his right knee, according to a source familiar with the situation. Roos' career could also be over. Rookie OT Taylor Lewan will replace Roos in the starting lineup, starting in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Lewan has played in all five games this year at tight end, tackle and on special teams.

The Tennessee Titans signed OL Taylor Lewan Thursday, July 24. Per NFL rules, the length of the contract is four years. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Tennessee Titans OT Taylor Lewan's trial on one count of aggravated assault and two counts of assault and battery will begin Oct. 28, and could continue on Oct. 29. John Shea, Lewan's attorney, has requested a jury trial for the case. Lewan will be required to be present for the jury selection and the trial. The Titans will be on their bye week during the trial.
