Dallas Cowboys WR Terrance Williams is expected to see a dent in playing time and targets with WR Miles Austin (hamstring) expected back in Week 12. Still, the team has been happy with Williams' maturation. "He's got a real high level of maturity from a work ethic standpoint," receivers coach Derek Dooley said Sunday, Nov. 17. "From an off the field standpoint. From a team standpoint. I think that's one of the things that's contributed to his ability to really have so much success early. He's really made the adjustment from being a college guy to a pro as well as anybody."
Fantasy Tip: It's hard to imagine the team taking targets away from Williams, who has really blossomed during Austin's absence. Plus, Austin isn't exactly the picture of health, and it might just be a matter of time before he is sidelined again. Williams should be treated as a WR4 or flex fantasy option heading into Week 12.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said WR Miles Austin (hamstring) and CB Morris Claiborne (hamstring) are improving but are doubtful for Week 10.
Fantasy Tip: At this point, Austin is causing your team more pain than anything. Especially in shallow leagues, it's probably that time to get rid of him and avoid him clogging your roster any longer. Terrance Williams has risen to the forefront alongside Dez Bryant.

Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin (hamstring) has been declared inactive for Week 9.
Fantasy Tip: Terrance Williams will continue to start in Austin's place and should be in all fantasy lineups.

Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin (hamstring) will likely miss his second straight game in Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings. He hasn't practiced at all this week after being limited the previous two weeks. "He can play without getting a whole lot of reps but he has certainly been dialed back this week," head coach Jason Garrett said. "We'll see how he does today."
Fantasy Tip: Leave Austin on your bench. If you are struggling to find room on your roster for an addition, it's getting to the point where cutting him should be a real option. Terrance Williams has emerged as a trustworthy receiver opposite of Dez Bryant.

Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin (hamstring) and DE DeMarcus Ware (thigh) are not participating in practice Wednesday, Oct. 30.
Fantasy Tip: Both Austin and Ware did some work on the side in practice. it looks like it'll be a battle for both players to get back into game action this week, so they are very risky options to consider for your starting lineups. Terrance Williams continues to be a very strong flex play as long as Austin is banged up.

Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin (hamstring) has been declared inactive for the team's Week 8 game.
Fantasy Tip: Terrance Williams will get another start and should be in the starting lineup for all owners.
Fri, 25 Oct 2013 13:14:39 -0700
Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin (hamstring) was limited in practice Friday, Oct. 25, and is listed as questionable for Week 8 against the Detroit Lions. Head coach Jason Garrett mentioned possibly resting Austin so that he could be healthy for the second half of the season.
Fantasy Tip: Relying on Austin is a very risky proposition. To be safe, it would be wise to avoid him like the plague. Even if he plays, there is a good chance he'll have his snaps limited. Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley will pick up the slack and are nice sleeper options.

Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin (hamstring) limited in practice again Thursday, Oct. 24.
Fantasy Tip: Austin will likely be questionable for Week 8, and he remains a very risky play. Bump up Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley in your weekly rankings against the Detroit Lions. They both make for intriguing flex options.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said WR Miles Austin (hamstring) was just "OK" in his return to action in Week 6 against the Washington Redskins. "He's clearly working his way back into it. I don't think he looked as explosive as he did early on in the year. He's clearly trying to get his hamstring healthy. He came through the game, looked like he was able to function, everything we asked him to do. But he's a work in progress coming back," Garrett said. Austin was targeted four times in the game and went without a catch, but he barely missed a touchdown on a pass that was deflected by a defender.
Fantasy Tip: The Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7 present another decent opportunity for Austin to get back on track after missing two games with the hamstring ailment. However, you have to wonder how healthy he is, and with Terrance Williams able to provide Tony Romo with another outlet, Austin shouldn't inspire much confidence in his owners just yet.
