Jenkins, Snyder and Williams did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 28. Kiwanuka, Pugh and Schwartz were limited during practice, while McClain, Rodgers-Cromartie and Rolle fully participated in practice.

New York Giants offensive line coach Pat Flaherty wants to keep OT Justin Pugh at right tackle. "I don't see wiggle room," Flaherty said Thursday. "Matter of fact, somebody -- not anybody with anything to do with decision-making -- asked me, 'Would you experiment with him?' Why experiment? He's a starting right tackle. Do I need to move him over to left guard? He's a starting right tackle. I tell the offensive linemen: 'You're a starter. You have a position. You earned that position. To move you has got to be to help the football team."

Pugh played left tackle at the University of Syracuse, but said the move to the other side has been smooth. "I feel good about it," Pugh said Monday, July 29. "I'm feeling comfortable out there and in my set and all the different things. I think it's just getting in there and learning the playbook, and then getting on the technique and mastering the technique." The Giants have most of their linemen take snaps at other positions to increase their versatility.

"We'll continue to progress that way and it will work its way out whichever way it's going to work," Flaherty said. "Both of them are getting the same amount of reps. We have a lot of confidence in David Diehl as well as Justin Pugh, he'll get there as long as he continues to work." Flaherty said there is a chance that Diehl could move to guard if OG Chris Snee (hip) is not ready to return.

"We added some young blood that can come in and look like they have the skill set to be able to play and contribute down the road," Gilbride said. "There is no question, we needed an infusion of talent at that spot - young talent that would be able to come in and eventually assume starting roles. How soon that will be remains to be seen."
