Green Bay Packers CB Tramon Williams and CB Sam Shields were the starting outside corners, CB Micah Hyde was the starting free safety, and Morgan Burnett was the starting strong safety during OTAs, according to ESPN.com's Rob Demvosky. CB Casey Hayward played in the slot in nickel packages, and S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix played free safety when Hyde moved to corner in certain nickel and dime packages.

Green Bay Packers CB Micah Hyde could transition to safety in 2014 because the team is so deep at cornerback. Cornerbacks coach Joe Whitt said Hyde could make the move successfully. "He can play safety," Whitt, the team's cornerbacks coach, said Friday. "Because he can tackle. He's really smart. He has range."

Green Bay Packers OT Don Barclay (knee), CB Casey Hayward (hamstring), CB James Nixon (abdomen), LB Nick Perry (ankle, foot) and QB Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) did not practice Friday, Nov. 22, and each has been ruled out for the Week 12 game against the Minnesota Vikings. CB Micah Hyde (groin), DT Johnny Jolly (groin) and CB Sam Shields (hamstring) each did not practice. Hyde is probable, Jolly is doubtful and Shields is questionable. OG Evan Dietrich-Smith (knee), LB Mike Neal (abdomen) and DT Ryan Pickett (knee) were each limited participants in practice, and each is listed as probable. LBs Clay Matthews (thumb) and Andy Mulumba (ankle) were both full participants, and are considered probable.
