Twins | Chris Colabello delivering

Thu, 24 Apr 2014 06:28:39 -0700

Minnesota Twins 1B Chris Colabello drove in four runs Wednesday, April 23. He leads the league with 26 RBIs.

Fantasy Tip: Colabello is a tricky fantasy asset. He's a 30-year-old journeyman that the average fantasy owner knows little about. You could keep him and hope this advanced-age surge is for real or sell high and earn a profit from your waiver claim or low draft pick.

Twins | Josh Willingham headed to DL

Fri, 11 Apr 2014 16:47:06 -0700

The Minnesota Twins will place OF Josh Willingham (wrist) on the disabled list Saturday, April 12, and will call up RP Michael Tonkin in a corresponding move.

Fantasy Tip: More good news for the owners of Chris Colabello, as he'll continue to see consistent playing time with Willingham and Oswaldo Arcia (wrist) out. Darin Mastroianni is also worth owning, in AL-only leagues, with the Twinkies thin in the outfield.

Twins | DL possible for Josh Willingham

Fri, 11 Apr 2014 14:37:42 -0700

Minnesota Twins OF Josh Willingham (wrist) may head to the disabled list if his wrist issue lingers through this weekend, according to bench coach and acting manager Terry Steinbach.

Fantasy Tip: This would bode well for Jason Kubel and Chris Colabello remaining in the lineup. Both are worth an add in deep mixed leagues. Kubel, being a LHB, might have more shelf life in this instance.

Twins | Oswaldo Arcia headed to DL, Josh Willingham not ready

Wed, 09 Apr 2014 11:31:22 -0700

Minnesota Twins OF Oswaldo Arcia (wrist) looks as though he's headed to the disabled list. OF Josh Willingham (wrist) took some swings and is feeling better, but he's not ready to return to action.

Fantasy Tip: This is good news for Chris Colabello owners who are taking advantage of his hot start. It gives him a longer shelf life in the Twinkies' outfield, especially since Willingham is also ailing.
