Denver Broncos WR Marlon Brown (back) is dealing with a back injury, an ailment which bothered him last season. "We're having his back evaluated. Obviously that was the problem last year. I think we saw enough to know that Marlon could really be a factor and help this football team," head coach Gary Kubiak said Wednesday, Aug. 3. "What we're trying to do is find out why his back continues to flare up on him. Hopefully we'll have some answers here in a couple of days."
Fantasy Tip: Brown is well down the depth chart and simply competing for a roster spot. An injury will certainly not help his chances. The veteran isn't likely to make the team unless Denver elects to keep seven receivers. Avoid him for fantasy purposes for now.

Free-agent WR Marlon Brown (Ravens) will be signing a one-year deal with the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Tip: Brown probably will have to compete for a roster spot during training camp and likely will not have much fantasy value if he makes the team.

Free-agent WR Marlon Brown (Ravens) is working out for the Washington Redskins Monday, July 18.
Fantasy Tip: Brown had only 14 catches for 112 yards and no scores in 10 games with the Ravens in 2015, and he'd likely just be a depth option if signed in Washington. He can be ignored for fantasy even if he's inked by the Redskins.

Baltimore Ravens WR Marlon Brown (back) did not participate in practice Friday, Dec. 25, and has been ruled out for the Week 16 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Fantasy Tip: Kamar Aiken ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) probably is the only Ravens receiver that fantasy owners should consider starting. Aiken should be a solid starting option because the Steelers struggle against the pass.

Baltimore Ravens WR Marlon Brown (back) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 24.
Fantasy Tip: It looks like Brown ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) will miss another game because of an injury, but owners can check on his status in case he shows improvement. Kamar Aiken ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) is probably the only receiver on the team that has fantasy value and could be a solid starting option against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16 since the team struggles against the pass.
