However, he's still unsure if he'll play in Week 8 against the Atlanta Falcons, and he's listed as questionable for the game. "I'm feeling good," Waddle said. "Came out here, did some stuff today. Go back, do some more tests and stuff like that and see how it feels later on in the day and we'll see where we go from here." Waddle wasn't sure he suffered a concussion in Week 7, and he said he didn't inform the doctors of his condition at the end of the game. Head coach Jim Caldwell said doctors will determine if Waddle will suit up Sunday, Oct. 26.

Lions | More time for Matthew Stafford?

Sat, 04 Oct 2014 19:46:42 -0700

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford will have OT LaAdrian Waddle (calf) back in Week 5, and with Waddle healthy in Week 1, Stafford was sacked once and hit once. In three games without Waddle at right tackle, he was sacked 10 times and hit 23 times, and head coach Jim Caldwell said a majority of the sacks were a result of a breakdown at right tackle.

Fantasy Tip: Stafford's lone 300-yard game this year came with a healthy Waddle in Week 1, and his return should solidify the right side of the line. A little extra time in the pocket could lead to a big performance for Stafford in Week 5 against a Buffalo defense ranked 25th against the pass. He will take up 17% of the cap ($8,500) at FantasyScore and could be worth a look given the favorable matchup.
