Seattle Seahawks OL Michael Bowie (shoulder) was limited to about a third of the reps during organized team activities (OTAs) Monday, June 9, after hurting his shoulder last week. However, head coach Pete Carroll said Bowie's shoulder is getting better. Bowie is splitting time with OL Justin Britt during OTAs.

Seattle Seahawks OT Michael Bowie started at left guard the NFC Divisional playoff game against the New Orleans Saints, but OGs James Carpenter and Paul McQuistan split time at the spot against the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game. Head coach Pete Carroll indicated the team wanted experienced players against the 49ers. He noted the team has two weeks to re-assess the situation leading up to Super Bowl XLVIII against the Denver Broncos.

Seattle Seahawks OL Michael Bowie was inserted into the starting lineup during the NFC divisional playoff game Saturday, Jan. 11, against the New Orleans Saints. Bowie ended up playing every snap and helped RB Marshawn Lynch spring loose for 140 yards.
