|Vikings | Teddy Bridgewater working with teammates|
Fri, 20 Mar 2015 10:23:26 -0700
Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater is working out in California with Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph, RB Jerick McKinnon, WR Charles Johnson and TE Brandon Bostick. McKinnon and Rudolph are rooming together at Rudolph's Newport Beach, Calif., home and are taking a no-nonsense approach to their training. Rudolph organized the group event.
Fantasy Tip: The chemistry-building possibilities are encouraging, but any fantasy advice to be gleaned from this situation is realistically useless without knowing the fate of Vikings RB Adrian Peterson. The offense goes as he does.

|Vikings | Teddy Bridgewater bulking up|
Tue, 27 Jan 2015 07:07:52 -0800
Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater is working on bulking up this offseason. "We know where he's going to be, what he's going to be doing, in terms of lifting," offensive coordinator Norv Turner said. "He's never going to be a real big man, but he's going to be a guy that eventually is 220-225. He played most of the year about 212, so continue to work and get stronger and put on a few more pounds, and he will gradually, but that strength, I don't want people to think I'm talking about getting his arm stronger, no."
Fantasy Tip: Bridgewater will be worth a flyer as a mid-to-low-tier QB2 in traditional leagues in 2015.

|Vikings | OC has confidence in Teddy Bridgewater|
Fri, 02 Jan 2015 16:23:45 -0800
Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater has the necessary arm strength to succeed in the NFL, according to offensive coordinator Norv Turner. "Teddy has all the key characteristics to be an upper echelon quarterback in this league," Turner said. "He really impressed me with how he played this year and how he continued to improve. He's got great vision, he's got great presence in the pocket. He doesn't get rattled, he's extremely accurate. All the things you're looking for in a quarterback."
Fantasy Tip: Bridgewater had his moments this season as the Vikings often had to pass frequently to play catch-up. Heading into 2015, Bridgewater could be a real nice surprise as a backup fantasy QB with upside, especially if Adrian Peterson returns in the backfield.

|Vikings | Teddy Bridgewater will remain starter|
Wed, 31 Dec 2014 12:32:46 -0800
Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater will start at quarterback heading into next season, according to head coach Mike Zimmer. "I think we're fortunate in the fact that we learned an awful lot about Teddy this year and the progress that he's made," Zimmer said. "He's still got to get a lot better to get to where we want to go. He's got to improve in the offseason and things like that, but yeah, I think it will allow the focus to move to another spot, other spots, not one spot, but other spots, we've got a lot of spots we've got to get better at. I think that helps solidify probably the number one question that was going on at this point in time last year."
Fantasy Tip: This shouldn't come as a huge surprise. Bridgewater wasn't spectacular in his rookie campaign but he did enough to retain his starting role. He'll be no more than a QB2 option heading into 2015 fantasy drafts.

Fantasy Tip: Bridgewater has steadily improved throughout his rookie year, and he could be a sneaky alternative quarterback option at FantasyScore in Week 17 when he faces a Chicago defense ranked 31st against the pass.

|Vikings | Teddy Bridgewater out of sync|
Tue, 04 Nov 2014 13:07:12 -0800
Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater and WR Cordarrelle Patterson continued to struggle on their deep connection in the Week 9 win over the Washington Redskins. Getting the ball into Patterson's hands has been a struggle ever since Bridgewater returned in Week 4. Patterson had only one catch on seven targets early in the game, and Bridgewater didn't throw his way again. Head coach Mike Zimmer admitted that there continues to be a disconnect with Bridgewater and Patterson on the field. Bridgewater has struggled on deep throws in general this year, ranking 20th in throws 20 yards and beyond.
Fantasy Tip: It's a combination of things that has led to a poor connection between Bridgewater and Patterson this year. Until they show more chemistry between the lines, Patterson is nothing more than a midrange flex with upside.

|Vikings | Teddy Bridgewater practices|
Wed, 08 Oct 2014 14:45:53 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Bridgewater should be able to play in Week 6 after missing the team's Week 5 game. Bridgewater has a price of $4,800 on FantasyScore, but owners should probably consider spending some more money on a better quarterback.

|Vikings | No concerns for Teddy Bridgewater|
Wed, 08 Oct 2014 10:51:34 -0700
Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater (ankle) won't have any concerns with his sprained left ankle in Week 6 against the Detroit Lions. He said Wednesday, Oct. 8, that he's "100 percent" after missing the Week 5 game last Thursday. Bridgewater also said he won't wear anything to protect his ankle against the Lions in his second career start. "The training staff here has done a great job of just helping me get that strength back in my ankle," Bridgewater said. "On Sunday, I'll just be able to play at full speed."
Fantasy Tip: It looks like Bridgewater will play, but the matchup against a tough Lions defense should have you hesitant to play him in FantasyScore lineups this weekend.
