Packers | Davante Adams performs well on MNF

Mon, 28 Nov 2016 21:21:52 -0800

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams pulled down five balls for 113 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Week 12 game against the Philadelphia Eagles Monday, Nov. 28. He was targeted six times.

Fantasy Tip: Adams is in that third year where players tend to take a big step forward. He has three 100-yard games over his past six outings, and he has found the end zone five times during the span. Adams has emerged as a bona fide WR2 in all fantasy formats heading into Week 13 against the Houston Texans.

Packers | Davante Adams back into end zone

Sun, 06 Nov 2016 21:12:01 -0800

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams posted four catches for 41 yards and a touchdown in the Week 9 game against the Indianapolis Colts. He was targeted eight times.

Fantasy Tip: Adams has had the eye of Aaron Rodgers frequently this season, posting four or more receptions in four of his past five games. He has also visited the end zone at least once (six times total) in five of his eight games. He is a must-start WR3 or flex play in most fantasy leagues, especially PPR formats.

Packers | Davante Adams enters GB history books

Tue, 01 Nov 2016 15:40:15 -0700

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams set a franchise record after hauling in 12 receptions for 74 yards in the team's Week 8 contest. That gives him 25 catches over the last two weeks, which is the most for any Packer in a two-game span.

Fantasy Tip: Adams is playing the best football of his career right now, and with Green Bay so banged up on offense, there's no reason his impressive play can't continue, especially in what should be a high-scoring tilt with the Colts in Week 9. Adams should be fired up in all leagues.

Packers | Davante Adams targeted frequently

Sun, 30 Oct 2016 21:54:01 -0700

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams posted 12 receptions for 74 yards with 14 targets in the Week 8 game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Fantasy Tip: Adams was targeted frequently, and that could be a theme going forward with the running game in shambles. Adams is certainly worth scooping up in PPR fantasy formats going forward if he is available off the waiver wire.

Packers | Davante Adams looking for consistency

Fri, 28 Oct 2016 21:23:12 -0700

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams said the next step is to "stack" together more big games after his 132-yard, two-touchdown performance in Week 7.

Fantasy Tip: A lack of consistency has plagued Adams throughout his young career, and he has finished with three catches or less in four of his six games this year. He is a boom-or-bust WR3 against the Falcons in Week 8.

Packers | Davante Adams explodes for 132 yards

Thu, 20 Oct 2016 20:37:29 -0700

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams played through a questionable tag due to a concussion he suffered in Week 6 and finished with 13 catches for 132 yards and two touchdowns in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears.

Fantasy Tip: All three marks are career highs. While Aaron Rodgers avoided Jordy Nelson like the plague Thursday night, Adams took advantage of multiple blown coverages en route to his best day as a pro while racking up 16 targets. Even though he hasn't been terribly efficient up to this point of his career, it might be time for owners to start trusting him. With Green Bay's backfield in shambles, the Packers may become a high-volume passing attack out of necessity, allowing Adams to post WR3 production on a regular basis.

Packers | Davante Adams questionable

Wed, 19 Oct 2016 13:28:20 -0700

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (concussion) was limited in practice Wednesday, Oct. 19, and is questionable to play in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears.

Fantasy Tip: Adams' status may not be decided until right before kickoff, so he'll really need to be monitored. The good news is that he did practice after not practicing yesterday. Even if Adams plays, though, he may be too big of a risk since he probably won't be 100 percent healthy. Look for better options if you have them.

Packers | No practice for Davante Adams

Tue, 18 Oct 2016 14:13:19 -0700

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (concussion) did not practice Tuesday, Oct. 18.

Fantasy Tip: Concussions can take a while to recover from, and Adams only has until Thursday to be cleared to play. If he isn't cleared, then Jeff Janis and Jared Abbrederis could see increased targets behind Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb. Although, Nelson and Cobb are the only Green Bay receivers to seriously consider starting if Adams sits.

Packers | Davante Adams sits Monday

Mon, 17 Oct 2016 14:28:34 -0700

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (concussion) missed practice Monday, Oct. 17. The Packers did not practice; Adams' status is an estimation.

Fantasy Tip: Adams disappointed in Week 6, and he's clearly the No. 3 wide receiver behind Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb. Even if Adams plays, he's too risky of a start in traditional leagues.
